White Collar & Necessary Roughness are the only two I DVR and watch religiously.

I honestly probably watch more USA than any other channel that isn't ESPN. Raw, Psych, Burn Notice, White Collar, Suits, and now Graceland are all DVR-worthy. I also really enjoyed Common Law during its brief run.

I remember staying up when I was little to watch Silk Stalkings and La Femme Nakita.

What the hell ever happened to Monk?

James Steele 06-27-2013 12:56 PM

I dunno. They hyped and promoted Graceland so much that it turned me off of it.

SPOILER: show
He found his wifes killer (a Judge/former teacher of Trudy played by Craig T. Nelson) and that his wife had a daughter with judge that she thought was dead. So, Monk now has a step-daughter.

Pretty fuckin' awesome pic for the MITB match

Mr. Nerfect 06-28-2013 02:40 AM

That is pretty awesome. Not a complaint, but I kind of feel like the Money in the Bank matches are a little lop-sided though. I think they will turn out fine and are perfectly interesting, but I think some of the guys in the WWE Championship match should be going for the World Heavyweight Title.

Sheamus, for example, won the Royal Rumble last year and chose to challenge Daniel Bryan. He's made the World Title a career goal, having already been a two-time WWE Champion. He lost the title to Big Show last year, but shouldn't he want it back? The same goes for Christian, who is a former two-time World Heavyweight Champion and wants "one more match." Wouldn't that "one more match" be for the WHT?

Jack Swagger and The Miz would also be natural picks for the World Title MITB. Swagger was chasing the title until he hurt his hand and is a former MITB Winner. The Miz often brings up on Main Event's commentary that the only title he hasn't won is the World Heavyweight Title, so he'd like to win that championship. Boom, they go into that match alongside Sheamus and Christian. Zeb Colter might want to spread his clients across each match, to ideally make it possible for him "save" each major championship. Antonio Cesaro would thus be entered into the WWE Championship Money in the Bank Ladder Match. Dean Ambrose, while he's never made it apparent that he wants to challenge for any specific World Title, has existing issues with Kane, Daniel Bryan and Randy Orton. He'd make a perfect heel foil for that match. Since I've put The Miz into the World Title Money in the Bank, that leaves Curtis Axel without a clear Money in the Bank opponent, but as a secondary champion he could be entered into the WWE Championship Money in the Bank Ladder Match, and he could talk about how he's about to win the title his father never could.

WWE Championship Money in the Bank Ladder Match
Antonio Cesaro vs. CM Punk vs. Curtis Axel vs. Daniel Bryan vs. Dean Ambrose vs. Kane vs. Randy Orton vs. Rob Van Dam

World Heavyweight Championship Money in the Bank Ladder Match
Christian vs. Cody Rhodes vs. Damien Sandow vs. Fandango vs. Jack Swagger vs. The Miz vs. Sheamus vs. Wade Barrett

The matches then look a bit more balanced, with former World Champions and at least two former winners in each match. It makes the World Title look almost as desirable as the WWE Title (which I guess just isn't the WWE's goal anymore) and it at least makes booking television over the next few weeks a fair bit easier, as you can have Christian, Sheamus and The Miz mixing it up with the heels scheduled for the World Title MITB. John Cena vs. Mark Henry, Del Rio vs. Ziggler, Jericho vs. Ryback, AJ Lee vs. Kaitlyn with Natalya as Special Guest Referee and The Shield vs. The Usos would comprise the rest of the card. That's seven matches, and while not many of them need too much time, you could always give The Usos a great showing against The Shield by having them go for quite a while and allowing Del Rio and Ziggler to wrestle for longer than people would expect them to.

Corporate CockSnogger 06-28-2013 05:17 AM

The Smackdown mitb match looks awful in terms of star power. It'd be a fine match, sure, but none of those guys should be anywhere near the world title right now. Barrett's probably the closest but hasn't he pretty much been booked very much like a mid carder for the past two years or whatever?

Corporate CockSnogger 06-28-2013 05:20 AM

Having said that, the world heavyweight title is a midcard title anyway, so I guess they fit right in. It's more that they try and recognise them as world champions that's the problem.

Ultra Mantis 06-28-2013 05:21 AM

I prefer it how it is. It's no secret that the WHC isn't the main prize and they had a similar theme going with the two matches last year. Putting Curtis Axel in there for the top belt would be fucking awful, worse than when Heath Slater and Justin Gabriel were in the WHC Money in the Bank for no reason a few years back. Anybody could win either match here without coming across like a complete Jack Swagger (including Jack Swagger himself).

Corporate CockSnogger 06-28-2013 05:33 AM

I'd rather have Heath Slater in the raw match instead of Rob Van Dam

Ultra Mantis 06-28-2013 09:29 AM

Falling off ladders is probably the best way to use Heath Slater to be fair.

The Condor 06-28-2013 10:31 AM

Noid, you included both mid card champs in your WHC MitB match. I don't think that's right, everyone wants them to mean something so they ought to be defended and not used as props to give another match some sort of "legitimacy." Perhaps there just aren't enough capable/over guys to do 2 MitB matches this year and that's ok. The Slater/Gabriel/Sin Cara year was rough, no need to relive it.

Emperor Smeat 06-28-2013 04:25 PM

Some recent dirtsheet stuff

Quote:

One of the reasons WWE has brought in so many of the top indie guys is that Jamie Noble keeps up with that scene and he’s the one who recommends the guys. Most of the other people in the company in power would have no clue who the people on that scene are.
Quote:

There are no plans for Del Rio to go back to the car entrances now that he’s back a heel. There were those who were negative about it because the feeling is every fan knew it was fake and forced.
Quote:

An interesting sidebar to the Cena vs. Bryan match, which is now planned to co-headline SummerSlam with Lesnar vs. Punk, is that the Divas reality show on E! will be airing at that point so it will be acknowledged that Nikki is Cena’s girlfriend and Brie is Bryan’s girlfriend. Given they want to promote the show, it wouldn’t surprise me at all if the twins are involved, or even put in the opposite corners so they are featured as two of the major focus points of the PPV while their show is going on.

Also some rumblings regarding Bill Demott once again might be facing some serious harassment allegations this time dealing with female talent on NXT assuming the stuff being said by Ziggler's brother (NXT's Briley Pierce) ends up being true.

Mr. Nerfect 06-28-2013 11:47 PM

I'm not really sure why Jack Swagger didn't qualify for the RAW All-Star Money in the Bank Ladder Match, since he's won one before. I actually wouldn't mind it if they just swapped him over in a conversation between Zeb Colter and Vickie Guerrero or something. That would leave one more spot open for the World Title one. How about you have Curtis Axel vs. The Miz for the IC Title with the winner earning a spot in it. The Miz wins and gives them one face to cheer for in there (although I think the Philly crowd will probably be going for Ambrose and Barrett).

You could always just have other people put in there randomly. They've had 10 people in MITB before, they could do it again if they want to. I wouldn't mind if they had some qualifying matches for lesser qualified guys to get in there. I don't mind Sin Cara in MITB. Drew Mac is another one. Or Tensai, I loved him in the other MITB he was in, Brodus Clay would be interesting in this match. Santino too. Or maybe Yoshi or Zack Ryder could get an upset victory and have a little moment to shine on PPV in a ladder match. I doubt that'd happen though, just wishful thinking.

 1. Alex Riley
 2. Ted DiBiase
 3. J.T.G.
I’m honestly shocked all 3 of them haven’t gotten their pink slips yet.

WWE.com has made the announcement that Natalya and Tyson Kidd have gotten married after dating for over a decade. Seems to kind of fly in the face of the Natalya/Great Khali on-air relationship they have been talking about.

Another interesting WWE.com article recounting some backstage beefs between Superstars. Starting the list is Goldberg vs. Jericho.

LOL, I remember watching that, just a few seconds beforehand Kelly was rambling on about "internet rumours and we all know how reliable they are" basically expecting Austin to say the exact opposite of what he said.

When was the last time somebody tried to wear the belt as a belt? Other than Ziggler reverse ass one.

The belt is skipping along with her. She could have made it fit if she wanted it fit.

Maybe with some superglue or something, I doubt the fitting holes on it would go tight enough for it to fit her properly.

Cowboys center Phil Costa gets engaged to Hulk Hogan’s daughter Brooke

http://l2.yimg.com/bt/api/res/1.2/Ry...SI_2083221.jpg

Phil Costa is now a full-fledged Hulkamaniac – or at least a Hulka-daughter-maniac.

Costa, a center who is entering his fourth NFL season with the Dallas Cowboys, pledged to take on the most famous wrestler in the world as his father in law when he dropped to one knee at the Bellagio in Las Vegas (nice
touch, Phil) and proposed to Brooke Hogan, the daughter of Hulk Hogan.

No word on whether Hulkster will rip off his tuxedo shirt after walking Brooke down the aisle.

Here's a photo of the big moment, posted to Brooke Hogan's Instagram account:

http://l2.yimg.com/bt/api/res/1.2/gJ...3013resize.jpg

We shouldn't use up all the snarky jokes at Hulk's expense (also considered: "Will Hulk drop the big leg on Costa if he doesn't treat Brooke right?" "Will Brooke walk down the aisle to 'Real American?'" "Does Costa have to survive a cage match with Hulk and King Kong Bundy to get Hulk's blessing?" and "What does the Iron Sheik think about all this?" ... BONUS JOKE: "Will someone intercept the wedding rings from Tony Romo?") because Brooke is famous on her own right. She was part of the reality series "Hogan Knows Best," and parlayed that into some singing success and minor acting roles.

We're glad for the couple, as Brooke proclaimed it the happiest moment of her life. Just more proof that if you train, say your prayers and eat your vitamins, it'll all turn out with a storybook ending. Brother.

At this point, WWE.com seems to be a blend between kayfabe and real life. Everybody knows the people are just playing characters.

I doubt they'll acknowledge Natalya being married. Much like I doubt they'll say John Cena and Daniel Bryan are banging the Bellas. The relationships will be acknowledged on the diva show, which is based on the backstage/"real life" scenarios the divas go through, but not on Raw or SmackDown.

I don't see him succumbing to old age or natural causes. I feel like there will be insane shenanigans involved.

^ apparently the car crashed into a restaurant where RVD was eating and was pretty close to his seat.

Volare 07-01-2013 04:59 PM

And all this time we thought that no one got higher than RVD.

DAMN iNATOR 07-01-2013 05:07 PM

Clearly one of the other participants in the ladder match didn’t want RVD at the PPV and tried to take out a mob hit on him. Only the guy they sent didn’t realize that to kill him at his table would require crashing through one of those pesky glass square things that always get in the way.

Oh, yeah, that's right a WINDOW.
