I just looked and I still can't find it. It's not on youtube or anywhere yet. What the fuck?

Yeah, word. Fucking fuck.

Kalyx triaD 08-23-2010 02:33 PM

It was cool.

Inadequacy 08-23-2010 02:52 PM

Agent Coulson!

LuigiD 08-23-2010 04:49 PM

X-Men First Class seems like such an unorganized cluster fuck of ideas.
I haven't liked the idea of that film since day 1. Casting choices aside, it sounds awful. Like it was pointed out, how do you make an X-Men movie now without Wolverine, Cyclops or Jean? the 3 characters that seem to be the ones people identify the most as being part of the X-men.
The structure of the film even reminds me of this gem..
<object width="480" height="385"><param name="movie" value="http://www.youtube.com/v/s70h5BKCHxE?fs=1&amp;hl=en_US"></param><param name="allowFullScreen" value="true"></param><param name="allowscriptaccess" value="always"></param><embed src="http://www.youtube.com/v/s70h5BKCHxE?fs=1&amp;hl=en_US" type="application/x-shockwave-flash" allowscriptaccess="always" allowfullscreen="true" width="480" height="385"></embed></object>

Lock Jaw 08-23-2010 05:00 PM

Totally forgot about that movie.

Kalyx triaD 08-23-2010 06:32 PM

The comparison's pretty far reaching, eh?

Jeritron 08-23-2010 08:11 PM

Don't speak ill about any Marvel movie while Jean Kalyx is in the house.

Fignuts 08-23-2010 11:49 PM

Good. Ultimates would work better I think.

Gonna be awesome. Seems like Branagh dialed down the Olde English for this though. Guess he thinks general audiences will be too dumb to get it. :-\

Wolverine isn't one of the original 5, so I could see him not being in. In fact, it wouldn't make sense if he was there. Leaving out Jean and Scott is just weirdtarded. That Gen X movie is bad in a good way. Everyone should see it on a lazy Sunday.

Rammsteinmad 08-24-2010 06:30 AM

I have the Generation X film on DVD. It's certainly not brilliant, but for a cheap and tacky TV movie it's not that terrible.

Yeah, I know about the Wolverine part. Just from a marketing stand point from a company that is thirsty for making every penny possible..regardless of how much a story makes sense..it surprises me.
Man..I remember when Gen X came out..I was at my peak of X-Men Fandom. Specially with Gen X. I had a ton of toys and comics. I liked the movie back when it came out. The characters were nothing like I pictured them but whatever..

I remember that movie being rushed and sucking.

Probably for the better, but Thor better at least say "I SAY THEE NAY"

Jeritron 08-24-2010 06:30 PM

I bet they'll have a scene where they take Thor shopping in modern times, and lots of comedy like that.

Kalyx triaD 08-24-2010 08:28 PM

That could work with Cap better. Thor will most likely have beats with Stark over tech. The serious tension will aptly be Stark vs Cap. It's a relatively recent rift but Whedon will not pass that up.

Jeritron 08-24-2010 08:32 PM

I don't think it should work with either. I wasn't suggesting the idea as a positive thing

Kalyx triaD 08-24-2010 08:46 PM

Can't wait to see Thor vs Hulk in live-action.

Jeritron 08-24-2010 08:49 PM

Will Thor even stand a chance against Hulk? It looks as though they've toned down his power bigtime.

Kalyx triaD 08-24-2010 09:01 PM

Live-action wise, Hulk's the strongest there is, but hell if he don't get some Hammer. We might see Hulk Buster armor too.

Kalyx triaD 08-25-2010 05:19 AM

"Ghost Rider: Spirit of Vengeance" films in the fall (in 3D) with Nic Cage still starring as the titular hellish biker.

Rammsteinmad 08-25-2010 10:38 AM

I'm one of the few people that didn't mind the GR film. Sure it wasn't brilliant, but it was good. Looking forward to this.

Majunior 08-25-2010 12:04 PM

I personally wish the Avenger's movie was using Grand Theft America as a plot.

That being said, Thor looks badass. And I'm interested to see how potent Thor is. I have a nagging feeling he spends most of the movie severely depowered.

McLegend 08-25-2010 03:16 PM

Ugh Nic Cage

He's in every movie now.

Marvel Studios has brought aboard Rich Wilkes (the "XXX" film series) to write the screenplay, which will adapt the story of Danny Rand, the Marvel martial arts superhero created in the 1970's.
Now let's watch Ray Park not get the part.

I felt like posting this because I think it supports a theory/suspicion that I had a few months back in this thread.

I think this goes to show what I was talking about when I predicted Iron Man would be the focal point/leader of The Avengers movie.
I know this is just a cartoon, but it's a current project by Marvel with all this Avengers hype and Iron Man is clearly front and center while Captain America chills behind him in the shadows.

Iron Man is Marvel's current cash cow. No way is he not leading

LuigiD 08-30-2010 01:59 AM

Interesting.
For a second I thought Giant Man had a cape..then I realized it was Thor's.

Rammsteinmad 08-30-2010 02:31 PM

I remember posting that trailer a few months back. God I hope it's better than the last Avengers cartoon.

The upcoming reboot is reportedly considering Stephen Moyer, better known as Bill on True Blood, to play Doctor Doom, and in fact an offer is already out to him. This is the first time there's been any indications Doctor Doom would be the villain of the new Fantastic Four movie (other than common sense, I guess - the Fantastic Four isn't really known for its extensive rogues gallery), if there's any truth to these rumors. Which is, as always, a pretty gigantic "if."

The Destroyer 08-31-2010 12:57 PM

Fantastic Four have plenty of villains. Just not many decent ones who'd work well enough to carry a film.

Kalyx triaD 09-08-2010 07:45 PM

Emma Frost on set:

http://www.infdaily.com/wp-content/u...sfdsioafew.jpg

Overdressed, but it might be cold.

parkmania 09-08-2010 08:44 PM

Probably not in "the" White Queen costume to help push toward the PG(-13?) rating.

Kalyx triaD 09-08-2010 08:55 PM

She has major cleavage in the Nick cartoon!

Kalyx triaD 09-08-2010 10:13 PM

Stunt man in a Cap scene:

parkmania 09-08-2010 10:14 PM

Cartoon =/= live action. Different format = different prejudices.

mitchables 09-08-2010 10:48 PM

that stuntman looks pretty out of shape :$

Kalyx triaD 09-08-2010 10:53 PM

Cool suit, though.

And the damn wings are there. Late adds after fan outcry?

Rammsteinmad 09-09-2010 04:24 PM

LOL that guy should play Cap.
