Never mind. |
Which PPV that WWE is currently promoting are you most excited for?
|
According to Fightful.com's Sean Ross Sapp, Creative and WWE management are once again pissed at Vince due to his constant meddling with plans and booking. A lot of frustration towards them not being able to do any meaningful or long term improvements due to Vince's antics.
Also seems to go beyond just management this time as wrestlers themselves have also grown tired of his meddling. |
Interesting
|
Sapp also revealed how Fightful.com keeps managing to get the weekly scripts for RAW and pretty much hinted its due to Vince not being that aware of the website and WWE doesn't have an idea of who could be the possible leaker.
<blockquote class="twitter-tweet" data-lang="en"><p lang="en" dir="ltr">That's not important<br>It's my full time job to report news<br>I will never burn a source unless they publicly announce who they are<br>They do care<br>Vince McMahon has no clue who I am<br>Because that's the info I get<a href="https://t.co/RON1jOG9mR">https://t.co/RON1jOG9mR</a></p>— Sean Ross Sapp of Fightful.com (@SeanRossSapp) <a href="https://twitter.com/SeanRossSapp/status/1034533712304717824?ref_src=twsrc%5Etfw">August 28, 2018</a></blockquote> <script async src="https://platform.twitter.com/widgets.js" charset="utf-8"></script> Think last time WWE had a major leak occur at this level, they managed to find out by sending fake scripts to writers and/or "bugged" some laptops to weed out the leaker. Harder to do this time since its the final script that is getting leaked. |
He could always just say "plans change".
|
Saw the opening segment of Smackdown on YouTube and it made me smile. So much fun.

So have they really already booked AJ Styles vs Samoa Joe for Hell in a Cell AND the Australian PPV? lol

Buddy Murphy is really, really, really fucking good. Watch 205 Live. Seriously.

According to Post Wrestling's John Pollock, WWE recently changed their plans for the Becky-Charlotte feud due to the storyline's bad reception.
Tossed out the typical face/heel dynamic and instead its now just two ex-friends who have valid arguments to back up their actions but neither is the actual heel of the feud. Instead of an actual heel turn for Becky, its going to be more Austin-like in terms of anti-hero direction. |
Well, that's a smart idea.
Within 24 hours Vince will step in and say it sucks and continue to push Charlotte to the moon. |
<iframe width="560" height="315" src="https://www.youtube.com/embed/gJs5mhMFR24" frameborder="0" allow="autoplay; encrypted-media" allowfullscreen></iframe>
Vince McMahon is amazing during this. And by amazing, I mean it ironically. |

I'm just surprised they actually realized their plans were never going to work and did the smart thing of not dragging their feet on the issue.
Also makes a ton of sense to abort the Becky heel turn since there are rumors of a monster heel turn being in the works for Asuka and Becky's turn wasn't going to change those plans. |
Yeah that's not a very WWE thing to do.
|
I am glad that the WWE decided to change the direction of the feud. I learned about it towards the end of their Smackdown review and was pleasantly surprised. Would highly recommend their family of podcasts.
|
This is so cool

* The typical face/heel dynamic is going to exist. Because now people love Becky and hate Charlotte. * That would be really good for Becky. This was not supposed to be about Becky. I'm skeptical that they would change that. * As I've said, the biggest loser in this, assuming that they don't just flat-out punish Becky for "sucking at her job" or something, is Charlotte. Because she no longer feels special. She feels like the female Roman Reigns. She feels secondary to Becky and Reigns in that sense now. You can't just un-fuck things. If Charlotte gets the match against Ronda at WrestleMania now, fans are going to be far more obsessed about Charlotte getting the push than the drama of the match itself. WWE has fucked this potentially special event. It's all about who is getting the push now, and if WWE decides it's Charlotte, the fans are going to revolt. No one is going to line up for Charlotte anymore. No one is going to give a shit about her going forward. Her "star power" has been completely rejected by this. No one is going to accept her as the top woman in WWE, maybe not ever again. Don't worry, she'll be around and jammed into an unnatural position, but it is unnatural because the company have fucked it. It also doesn't undercut that this company was stupid enough to a) think it would work, and b) risk it even thinking it would work. |

I like how WWE stumbled in to what Sasha and Bailey should have been with Becky/Flair.

WWEShop are now selling T-shirts with designs that were drawn by a fourteen year old girl by the looks of it.

All week I've been listening to Viscera's theme from when he was "The World's Largest Love Machine".
It's actually a pretty funky piece of music. It's called "Gut Punch" but I personally prefer its original title which was "Fuck Me". |

I am officially in love with Tessa Blanchard.

anybody know any streams for starrcast tonight want to see the roast of prichard but the price is outrageous.
|
Cena is firmly at the point where he doesn't give a fuck and is just having fun being himself and not worrying about being a "company guy". It's endearing. Give him the strap and let part time it.
|
Just got an email from ROH
If anyone signs up for Honor Club for the month (9.99) they can ALLIN for 50% off (which I think would be 20 bucks) plus they will get ROH's big 'Death Before Dishonor' show included too! |
Quote:
|
Oh yeah, they are paying outrageous prices too it sounds like
There were fans who paid 50 bucks to see Marty Scurll sing karaoke yesterday and people paying like $45 to get Dave Meltzer's autograph....Starrcast seems more like Carnycast |
Quote:
|
True, good for the carnies
Yesterday saw people 'purchase seats' to TGIFriday's to 'eat dinner w/ the Young Bucks' |
Good god lol.
People do love wrestling. |
It'd be cool to meet the young bucks and all. But I would not spend any amount of money on them unless it was to watch them wrestle or if I really loved a piece of merchandise.
I don't need to spend "personal" time with Matt and Nick Jackson. |
Same, for basically any and all wrestlers
|
Well... maybe Barry Horowitz but that's it
|
I saw Virgil outside the Super Dome before WM but he was in a mood and waved people away...I would have paid Virgil like 5 bucks for a photo if he wanted tbh b/c it's Virgil
|
Dude if you offered Virgil 10 bucks he'd have taken the money 100%. The man is a grifter.
|
Before WM this year Noelle Foley was trying to sell $250 tickets to eat lunch w/ her and Frank The Clown and I guess tickets had a hard time moving so they underestimated how much neckbeards were desperate in that instance
|
lol so pretty much we'd only pay money ironically to maligned nobodies. I'd pay 50 bucks to Horace Hogan for a pic with his autograph as long as it said
"To my biggest fan Dale Best wishes, Horace Hogan" |
I'd give Tatanka 20 dollars
#BUFFALO |
I'd let him know that he's still undefeated in my heart.
|
|
Quote:
From what I know, he's actually pretty hated by a lot of the IWC. If it was lunch with just Noelle, those neckbeards would be all over that offer in a heartbeat. |

My take on the bumping Izzy thing... not for me, very risky and not worth the reward. I feel the same about Omega or The Bucks wrestling kids too but for some reason I feel this bumping Izzy is even worse.

Watching a 1986 June 27th Boston Garden show this morning
Typical shit WWF undercard Haku vs Pete Doherty Hatley Race vs Tony Atlas (would have been an awesome match in 1980) Tiger Cheung Lee and Les Thornton vs Dan Spivey and Mike Rotunda Moondog Spot vs Pedro Morales Billy Jack Haynes vs Moondog Rex Things are finally picking up with Steamboat vs Jake in a decent match and Hogan vs Savage for the WWF Title in a great match. Final matches were Bundy vs Jyd and Orndorff vs Muraco in a much better match than their Wrestlemania 2 match . Pretty meh show. |
