Yeah, Becky Lynch. Probably gonna job though, so that sucks....

Lock Jaw 07-28-2015 12:30 AM

Tempted to not check out the Smackdown Spoilers so I can be surprised if they miraculously give her the win.

Yeah, that's right.... a DIVAS MATCH is causing me to question whether to avoid spoilers or not.

Lol. Love how UFC fans are so full of themselves as to ask a contracted UFC fighter, who they are going to fork over good money to see fight, whether he is, indeed, a UFC fighter, then calls him out. It's hilarious. I wonder if the same guy would've asked Lesnar if he was afraid to fight him or tell him he's only "an entertainer".

road doggy dogg 07-28-2015 11:03 AM

yeah guy is a clown

Punk still seems as douchey as ever though tbh

road doggy dogg 07-28-2015 11:03 AM

(which is part of why I love him)

Spaff 07-28-2015 11:19 AM

Punk is the man.

Damian Rey 07-28-2015 11:23 AM

I love that Punk is an ass to idiot fans. What was the purpose of that question anyway? To go home and tell your friends you asked CM Punk why he wouldn't fight you. Lol mma fans.

Mercenary 07-28-2015 11:33 AM

Got pretty decent seats for Raw in October

Innovator 07-28-2015 11:35 AM

That guy is a fighter I think from Blackzillians who got banned from the gym after this rant and a twitter rant following this stunt.

Damian Rey 07-28-2015 11:36 AM

Lol even better. Glad that worked out for him.

Maluco 07-28-2015 11:48 AM

Guy is trying to get attention and laid the price for it. Not just talking about this situation though, but Punk always gets on like a bit of a dick, but never seems to get called out on it. Interview he gave after he got fired was a disgrace. Threw some decent guys who he worked with under the bus. Just seems like a really prickly guy, but he has me interested in his fight, so guess it works.

Cool King 07-28-2015 11:56 AM

Yeah, Punk does seem like a huge prick to me. He's the type of guy I think I would never get along with and never like.

But at the same time, he's really good at what he does, which is probably why I like him. Which is weird.

Even though he's retired now, I'd say I'm a fan of CM Punk the wrestler, but I'm not a fan of CM Punk the man.

Put it much better than I did!:y:

Damian Rey 07-28-2015 12:06 PM

Think he was just really upset about his work environment. I'm of the mind that I'm a decent enough person and I can assure you I've thrown people under the bus after leaving a tumultuous place of employment.

Punk justseems like the type of guy who has patience or takes people shit. It does come off as being a dick but have we ever really seen him in an environment where he's not being baited or asked to be a dick, ala the video above?

SPOILER: show

Chris Melendez is out and challenges Eric Young. Young says no but then says he'll do it if Melendez puts his leg (his prosethtic leg) on the line. Melendez agrees. EY vs. Melendez at Genesis with Melendez's leg on the line.

Vastardikai 07-28-2015 01:55 PM

It makes the whole theory that GFW is gonna buy out TNA all the more plausable.

Makes a lot of sence, They have a great roster and with Jeffs vision for GFW it seems like he is going to need a roster of guys to do all these talent exchange partnerships. It needs to happen.

Hanso Amore 07-28-2015 02:52 PM

LOL TNA

Run Jarrett out of town

Crash and Burn

Sell to Jarrett

Sepholio 07-28-2015 03:07 PM

GFW Impact

Simple Fan 07-28-2015 03:09 PM

Sounds better than TNA Impact but I like the Amped name.

Cool King 07-28-2015 04:25 PM

Just got done with Raw. No surprise that I skipped all of it apart from The Lucha Dragons vs Los Matadores.

I'm so high on The Lucha Dragons these days.

Lock Jaw 07-28-2015 05:54 PM

Enjoyed CM Punk when I saw him in Chicago... Seemed like a chill and funny guy who would just not take bs from people....

ron the dial 07-28-2015 05:57 PM

where did you see him when you were in town?

ron the dial 07-28-2015 05:58 PM

i saw him do a "stand up" thing with colt where they made fun of old matches/promos a few months ago. their chemistry was fantastic.

First time I went to Chicago last summer, saw the flag and forgot it was the city flag and just thought "gee, they really do like CM Punk here...."

Was shortly after he left WWE, I think....

There has also been talk that Sting would team with Roman Reigns to face The Wyatt Family but PWInsider says that is all speculation as WWE is not planning on using Sting at SummerSlam as of late this afternoon.

Sting will be in New York City that weekend to make the SummerSlam Experience signing appearance but apparently WWE will not be using him at SummerSlam after all.

According to the Observer, WWE is leaning towards Sting vs Bray based on recent commercials shot for the event.

Powell's POV: One source noted that the feeling within WWE is that they don't have to pay someone to assess independent talent when they have people within the company such as William Regal who are doing that now. Others felt that the idea was for WWE to compensate WWN/Evolve to some level so the promotion could provide independent talent with a place to work outside Ring of Honor.

Bryan currently has a much different view of the business, as he is now only watching instead of wrestling. When asked who is currently the best in the business, he quickly decided upon two names.

“Cesaro in the ring is as good as anybody out there in WWE,” said Bryan. “If you’re talking the entire wrestling world, there is a guy in New Japan [Pro Wrestling] that I really love watching named Shinsuke Nakamura. He’s awesome and really fun to watch. But in terms of the WWE, in ring, I love watching Cesaro.”

I was watching NFL Network tonight and a fan tweeted to former Vikings receiver Nate Burleson: "What's the nastiest thing you've ever seen at training camp?" To which Nate brought up a story from a joint practice that the Minnesota Vikings held with the Kansas City Chiefs in 2004 (the year Brock tried out for the team):

"You remember Brock Lesnar of WWE? He came out and somebody cheap-shotted [quarterback] Daunte Culpepper's leg, and Brock was like "WHO DID IT?". The next play he went and suplexed the guy...he picked up a grown man after the play, and then it was the Royal Rumble: Minnesota vs. Kansas City.. that was a nasty suplex on the football field."

"I think there’s only one answer for me right now, and it is Brock Lesnar. I think a lot of people want to see it. I was there the night he made his debut on Raw for WWE," Owens continued. "I was in the crowd, like the fifth row. I remember being blown away immediately by this guy, I was on board right away. I bought Brock Lesnar T-shirts and Brock Lesnar hats. My parents got a dog that summer, I named him Brock. Seriously, he was a blonde Lab, he was huge: ‘That’s Brock!’ I used to do the F5 when I was on the indies because of how much I admire him so I’d love to be the one to put an end to him."
Part of a recent interview Owens had with talkSPORT's Gorilla Position podcast on who he'd want to face soon for a match and/or feud if given the chance.

We noted last week that the Hulk Hogan scandal has caused WWE Studios' to remove a Hogan scene from the Celebrity Death Pool movie that stars David Hasselhoff and Ken Jeong. PWInsider reports that a piece of Hogan material was also in the upcoming WWE - Scooby Doo animated movie. Hogan was set to appear in scenes alongside an animated Dusty Rhodes and those will obviously have to be edited now. Hopefully they can just replace Hogan and not have to nix the Dusty scene altogether. Regarding the Hogan scene in Celebrity Death Pool, apparently it was the opening sequence of the movie so it will definitely have to be re-done.

It looks like WWE may be using actor Stephen Amell of "Arrow" at next month's SummerSlam pay-per-view in Brooklyn. Amell is booked to appear at the Wizard World convention in Chicago during SummerSlam weekend but the signing for SummerSlam Sunday has been canceled. Amell will now only be appearing on Saturday. We noted how Amell will likely be appearing at an upcoming WWE event, possibly the August 10th RAW from Everett, Washington. Speculation is that Amell and Neville may take on Stardust and The Miz in some sort of match.
