Just watched NXT, and a few notes...
I kinda wish the show was 90 mins. An hour is just not enough, but two hours might be too much. Just 30 mins of promo time, all I'm asking.

Tyler Breeze vs Colin was a great finish. I was going to be mad if Tyler went over, but I was also going to be made if Colin went over cleanly. They did what I wanted, which left me a happy fan.

I wish they would have mentioned Russev in the rumble. A guy who has beaten Kingston went into the rumble- that's news worthy.

CJ Parker VS The Miz.... I'm not sure what would have been more upsetting. Parker going over Miz, or Miz going over Parker. At this point I was too shitfaced to care.

I can't recall the exact word, but during the Bailey vs Banks match, Rene Young had the perfect opportunity to make an EMMA pun, and passed it over... Now that I think about it, I think the word was Emanating.

They said Camacho is now a singles wrestler, which makes me wonder (in KayFabe) what the fuck happened to Hunico?

Pretty sure in Post Production they threw the word "Wolves" in the Ascension match when they mentioned The American Pitbulls. Or was it the other way around? Either way they're signed by TNA so I couldn't care less.

The ending was... mild. I'm pretty sure you could hear a guy in Row 19 Seat GH text his wife saying "I'm having an affair with you, I swear. I'm not watching a contract signing that the fans are not into."

All in all.... As much as I love Prince Pretty, this was the worst NXT I've seen, ever.

Poor CJ O'Doyle. He moves up from getting ball clawed in the 3PW midcard ten years ago to jobbing to Millennials in curtain jerk FCW matches.

I think NXT is 55 minutes w/o commercials (as opposed to a 45 minutes for a regular hour-long show), so I guess that makes it something like an hour & 15 minutes?

At first, I assumed they didn't mention Rusev because they tape NXT weeks in advance, but yeah, they could've totally just edited in a backstage interview.

They edited the wolves/pitbulls in there, so why not a little more in the show. All they had to do was during the Collin/Tyler match was have someone say "Speaking of power houses in NXT, Rusev made his WWE debut in the Royal Rumble!"

I've got to be honest, I was never a big supporter of Leo Kruger's. It's not that he was bad or anything, he was just...there. His ring work was solid, his mic work was appropriately creepy. I thought the character came off well, but I just didn't really invest too much in it.

Adam Rose might actually get Kruger over far more than the serious character did. Sure, it will be a bit jarring to see Kruger playing a different character, but those issues will probably be moot once Rose joins the main roster. Would love to see Rose feud with 3MB.

That Solomon Crowe promo wasn't the best. The character seems intriguing, but where do they go with it?

He kept doing those stupid "dramatic pauses" that 95% of indie promos contain.

Corey Graves is MONEY. That guy oozes Future Main Eventer.

I claim him as my pick and will subsequently be adapting my avatar and signature in the near future.
