I will say that Ray's acting was really good here. His demeanor changed completely at the word "Bought."

idea for WWE to make billions

WWE should make a tea shirt that says Undertaker: Undefeeted 21-0 and list on back all the super warriors he has best like HHH and Giant Gonzalez. This will sell millions and will save WWE from being bought out buy TNA.

Theo Dious 04-20-2013 09:30 AM

Hadouken 04-20-2013 09:37 AM

Well that's intriguing... If WWE is actually going to use this and it's not just more of Ryder's self loathing schtick then I'm legit interested to see where it goes. Potentially Ryder could become a pretty big heat machine if he turns on the fans after all the love they've put into him.

Zack Ryder is trying to evolve. I like that.

Mr. Nerfect 04-21-2013 03:55 AM

Since Zack Ryder has a bit of trouble with promos, having Ryder become a Paul Heyman Guy or aligning with Jack Swagger and Zeb Colter would be interesting. Ryder could approach Colter because he saw the change in Jack Swagger and wants to be successful as well. Ryder would make a pretty good manipulated young man.

#1-norm-fan 04-21-2013 04:33 AM

Paul Heyman is too good for Zack Ryder.

The problem with Colter as his manager is that Ryder would have to convey that he's bought into the ideals that Zeb Colter preaches. Swagger's no master of the mic but he has the character built in so it works. Ryder would need to actually put in some mic work of his own to change up his character and be accepted as the brainwashed anti-immigrant guy. Can't see how he'd be able to pull it off.

He was in the ring with the 2 world champions after he won the U.S. Championship. He was given the mic and the best he could do was awkwardly say "Hey dad! This is neat." It was over then and there. He is average in the ring, below average on the mic, and had his moments to shine and he blew it. It isn't Vince McMahon's fault that he couldn't get over as the buddy of the biggest draw in the company or get any sympathy going against the biggest monster in the company. It isn't Vince McMahon's fault that Zack Ryder couldn't connect to a crowd on any level deeper than laughing at his YouTube gimmick. It isn't Vince McMahon's fault that Zack Ryder has decided to become a whiny bitch and openly complain about his spot in a way that isn't constructive. Vince McMahon should fire his ass. Ryder had his moment of glory. It is over. Move on. Quit whining. He's making good money being a glorified enhancement talent.

CM Punk actually has 4 different injuries to his knee at one time. Punk has a lot of pain in his lower leg but not the knee itself, despite the number of injuries. He has a strained ACL and other torn ligaments.

Before the leg injury, Punk was already planning on taking time off after WrestleMania 29 because he was mentally burnt out. Doctors advised him to stay out of the ring at least 6 weeks. He will not be at this Monday's RAW from England and how soon WWE asks him to return will likely depend on how the ratings are over the next few weeks.

Whilst I never found Chuck Norris jokes funny, and the whole praising Steve Blackman as God thing was funny maybe back in 2006, that recent backstage skit with Blackman was pretty funny, and I'd to see him become a regular backstage character, kinda like Ron Simmons... except funnier.

Think the WWE goofed up a bit for the UK tapings since tomorrow's RAW at London is unlikely to have ADR, Orton, Big Show, Sheamus, Swagger, Henry, Fandango, and Barrett.

Those guys have been reserved or scheduled for the Smackdown taping at Cardiff that occurs around the same time as RAW.

The Rock recently spoke with New York City radio host Peter Rosenberg while promoting his new TV show Hero. Here are the highlights…

Is He Done Wrestling?: “Possibly, to be honest with you. This is exclusive s— right here (laughs),” Johnson said about whether facing John Cena at WrestleMania 29 was his last match. “Possibly. You know, the goal three years ago was – I sat down with Vince McMahon and we strategized about it, talked about three WrestleManias (WM27 as host, WM28 vs. Cena, WM29 vs. Cena) back-to-back, boom-boom-boom, and building to those. And, I committed myself to the company and I was very proud of that moment (passing the torch to Cena) – didn’t matter if I lost or did the job or not. It was an honor to do the honors. We wanted to build me to a certain place and become champion, and then do things the right way,” Johnson continued. “It was the best way to give back. Was it my last match? Possibly. I’m really not too sure and I wouldn’t rule it out. The plan the whole time was to create the Miami (WrestleMania) and create the biggest show of all-time in the biggest market of New York.”

On His Next Match: “The original plan was possibly Brock (Lesnar) and myself. Like, that was the next thing that made sense to me. Because, I love Brock and we’ve been friends for over a decade now. And, we could have a great, athletic match. So, that was the plan. But, when I tore tendons off my pelvis, I had to fly home that day, so we couldn’t do what we wanted to do at Raw that day. So, possibly with Brock down the road.”

On The Injury and Vince & Company Knowing He Was Going Home: “I talked to Vince that night when I was hurt,” Johnson said, with a defensive tone in his voice. “Vince, and Triple H, by the way, and John Cena and C.M. Punk came by the locker room… That night, I saw the WWE (doctors), and they did the fun test if one has a hernia, and Vince came by the locker room. I said I was hurt, then we agreed that I was not going to be at the show the next night. So, everyone knew. I wasn’t quite too sure where all the ‘scrambling’ came in.”

Don't forget about the classic match ups between Angle-Khali, Angle-Henry, Angle-Clay, Angle-Jey Uso, Angle-Titus O'Neil, and Angle vs. Fandango.

Triple Naitch 04-22-2013 08:30 PM

Fandangle

Mr. Nerfect 04-22-2013 08:40 PM

Angle vs. Jey Uso could actually be really good. Have Angle take out Jimmy in a rage one week and Jey Uso steps up to fight for his brother despite being completely outclassed. Jey puts up a surprisingly good fight (think Shelton Benjamin and Triple H), before Angle gets himself into gear. Jey makes a comeback and goes for the Superfly Splash but Angle runs the ropes and belly-to-belly overhead superplexes him off. Jey kicks out at two and Angle gets frustrated. He looks for an Angle Slam but Uso manages to slip out and then hits a Samoan drop on Angle for two. Kurt rolls to the floor and Jey follows him out. Angle hits Jey Uso with a steel chair calling for the DQ.

The next week Jey Uso manages to win a singles match against some heel jobber and then challenges Angle for a No Disqualification Match the following week. Angle runs out and attacks Uso, but Jey actually low-bridges Angle over the top rope and Kurt kicks the announce table in frustration and stubs his toe.

The No Disqualification Match sees Angle control the match as the heel, but Jey Uso manages to get the victory with after giving Angle a receipt from two weeks previous using the same sort of weapon Angle did to blast him and gets his second victory over Angle.

Jey Uso uses these wins to springboard into the IC/US Title picture and maybe even wins the championship. He's bound to be pretty over at this point. Jimmy Uso then returns as a heel and attacks his own twin brother -- jealous of Jey's success. Jimmy says that somewhere this became all about Jey Uso and not about him and the injury Jey was claiming to avenge. Rikishi comes back to try and talk some sense into his son, and Jimmy gets all hurtful claiming that Rikishi always played second-fiddle to The Rock. Jimmy is not going to be second-fiddle to anybody. Jey Uso saves his father from a beat-down from a seriously deranged Jimmy and the two have a match at the next PPV.

Angle vs. Brodus Clay could be surprising too. Angle vs. Fandango would just be amazing.
