Angle's been wrestling for years after the fact. It would still be a holy shit moment, but not of the magnitude of Lesnar.

Lesnar was over enormously during that run. I remember being at SummerSlam 2002 and the crowd was pretty much completely behind Lesnar. Rock was still face, so after the show he cut a heel promo on the crowd, essentially turning heel.

Of course, this was also in New York (Long Island, WWWYKI), so it's not that big of a surprise Lesnar was the face to that crowd.
