Renee Young also recently appeared on Talk is Jericho, and revealed she was working on a new WWE Network show titled WWE Vintage. She said that "Mean" Gene Okerlund will also be appearing on the program, and they've been filming buffers for the show. The program formerly aired on Sportsnet in Canada.

It appears the cable network did the replay last night to try and help raise Tough Enough's rating.

Probably wouldn't have been that much of an improvement overall if I had to guess.

For what it's worth, Kane is not being advertised for next Monday's WWE RAW from Chicago. It's possible he's kept off TV for a week to continue the angle from this week where Seth Rollins sent him on vacation to Hawaii. It was speculated on this week's Wrestling Observer Radio that we may see the Cadillac CTS that Rollins gave to J&J Security on RAW again, perhaps leading up to the car being destroyed by Brock Lesnar.

s noted earlier this week, WWE Hall of Famer "Superstar" Billy Graham is interested in taking Dusty Rhodes' old job of helping NXT talent develop promo. Graham posted the following on his Facebook this week:
Hello wrestling fans, this is Superstar Billy Graham. With all of the rumors going around about my interest or lack of, concerning a position for me with the NXT that my dear friend Dusty Rhodes had, I thought that was necessary to give you a direct statement from me to set the record straight. First off, I have been planning on moving back to Florida for some time now. My wife of 35 years, Valerie, is from Tampa and all of her family lives there. Also my daughter lives in West Palm Beach.
This morning, Tuesday, June 30th 2015 I sent an email directly to Vince informing him that if the position that Dusty once had has not yet been filled, that I am very much interested in taking it since I am moving back to live in Florida . I have not heard back from Vince or any of his staff as he is a very busy man. I am sure at some point I will get an answer from Vince concerning this question ...
As soon as I hear from Mr Vince McMahon regarding the NXT position one way or another, I will post that information on my Facebook. Thank you for your time and every one have a nice day, Superstar Billy Graham.

We noted last week via Brian Fritz of SportingNews.com that TNA production workers were told on June 25th that they wouldn't be paid for the last set of tapings until July 15th or later. Production was under the impression that they would be paid when they came in for this set of tapings. The Wrestling Observer Newsletter notes that there was more heat in trying to find out which member of the staff leaked the story to Fritz than people being mad at the company for putting the production workers in this situation.

According to the WON, WWE is holding a tryout for Japanese wrestlers before their July 3rd show in Tokyo. The site also says that the previously-reported appearance of Tatsumi Fujinami at the show will be a special Hall of Fame ceremony.

In an update on Ziggler, he said that he has still not signed his new deal with WWE. He was given an offer a few weeks ago, and when he didn't sign it, it opened up a lot of speculation. The belief is still that he is staying. He first said in a Boston Herald interview on the subject, I feel like I started here. I should end my career in the WWE. I feel like they like having me around and I love working here, so It would be really hard to walk away." He did an interview on the Chad Dukes radio show in Washington, DC, and said, "I'm thinking about it right now. I had a request for an upcoming contract that would end (I think he meant begin) a few months from now, maybe two or three months from now, and they requested back what they would like, I countered another offer and we're waiting to finalize some things. I love WWE and I can't picture myself wrestling somewhere else, but it's also becoming now where that Wednesday and Thursday, I can't just do that and get some outside live events for comedy and different movie and television options which would only be to promote myself as a WWE superstars, to make myself a bigger star so I can advance more in WWE. So if I can't find that happy medium, I might have to get away for a little bit. What I wanna do is make myself a bigger asset to WWE. it involves leaving, that would crush me, but it might."

World Wrestling Entertainment Inc. is asking a federal judge to block lawsuits by former wrestlers who claim they have suffered long-term health problems from concussions they received in the ring.
The Stamford-based company, in a lawsuit filed in U.S. District Court in Connecticut on Monday, argues the wrestlers' claims are fraudulent and should be barred because of a three-year statute of limitations on such claims in Connecticut.
The company, which already is facing several lawsuits across the nation, is also asking that all such litigation be moved to federal court in Connecticut ...
"Before this guy started trolling around looking for people to sue, we didn't have one person, none, claiming they had any kind of traumatic brain injuries, or dementia or ALS or any of the kind of stuff you seek associated with the NFL," McDevitt (WWE's lawyer) said.
Konstantine Kyros, who represents the wrestlers, denies those allegations. He said he has been retained by dozens of former WWE performers who all have health problems related to being dropped on their heads too many times.
He said each of them suffered repeated concussions and sub-concussive injuries after performing up to hundreds of times a year.
He said he will argue the statute of limitations doesn't apply when medical conditions manifest themselves years after the events that caused them.
"What the WWE lawsuit is doing is trying to do is prevent some of the most storied performers in the history of the organization from having their day in court," he said.
Robert Windham, who wrestled under the name "Blackjack Mulligan," is one of those named in WWE's lawsuit, along with James "Koko B." Ware and Thomas "Dynamite Kid" Billington.
All three have sent letters to WWE indicating an intent to sue.

WWE once again claiming the only reason they are getting sued is because a lawyer is on a crusade or something to get a big payday like lawyers got against the NFL. http://abcnews.go.com/Entertainment/...suits-32161487

As far as pure wrestling went, it was one of the best one hour shows in the U.S. in recent memory, since the Shinsuke Nakamura vs. Roderick Strong match on the same show was also excellent. The main event was edited, as there were a ton of "Suck it" references during the match, both from the Bullet Club and from fans, and all were removed. A funny story is that backstage at TNA, during the tapings, somebody turned on Destination America early and this match was playing and a lot of the talent were going crazy for it, which caused John Gaburick to get mad and yell, "Get that shit off."
