Kurt Angle apparently has--and has had for almost a year--a tumor in his neck that he will be taking time off to get removed.

Should return to the WWE and win the belt with a tumor in his freakin' neck

Guess music festivals are still pissed at Seth Rollins breaking up the Shield. :shifty:
<blockquote class="twitter-tweet" lang="en"><p lang="en" dir="ltr">What did <a href="https://twitter.com/WWERollins">@WWERollins</a> do to get banned from all of these music festivals??!!! <a href="https://twitter.com/hashtag/wwe?src=hash">#wwe</a> <a href="https://twitter.com/hashtag/FarmBorough?src=hash">#FarmBorough</a> <a href="http://t.co/Y1J4zsqDa5">pic.twitter.com/Y1J4zsqDa5</a></p>— Dave Acosta (@davedrawsgood) <a href="https://twitter.com/davedrawsgood/status/614935665915113472">June 27, 2015</a></blockquote> <script async src="//platform.twitter.com/widgets.js" charset="utf-8"></script> |
<font color=goldenrod>According to Reddit, Rollins' inclusion on the list isn't actually a joke even though it seemed that way. Zahra Schreiber (the tattooed NXT girl who Seth was supposedly fooling around with during the dick pic fiasco a few months back) was engaged with the lead singers of one of the bands at the festival. Obviously, he's still quite pissed off about that.</font>

Figures the one time I don't go to a WWE show in Boston, and The Rock shows up......

And honestly, I can see making an angle out of that at some point. He stage crashes some act in the future and gets arrested/escorted away, and someone captures the footage on one of those banned recording devicez on that list as well. |

Isn't R-Truth banned too? |

I just learned Tom Guycott was black :)

Me too, I was pissed when I found out.

Reading the above post, not reading the quote, and instead automatically assuming it is in response to Savior's post is pretty funny.

Need a mod to edit the quote out.

Watched part of Slammiversary tonight... seemed to not be as obnoxiously bad as I was expecting I guess
Aries match seemed real good then had stupid finish... distraction roll-up pin, felt really cheap after a very good match Even less sense... the match was a singles match to determine the stipulation for a tag match .... on Wednesday? wtf. Isn't Slammiversary their big PPV? why is the PPV setting up matches for TV show, I would think the big "payoff" match would be the final match in the best-of-5, on Slammiversary. seems really dumb |
Quote:
They taped a month and a half worth of TV this past week. So, Wednesday's show was live, and then they taped the next several weeks. That means that anything that happened tonight had to be reflected in the tapings they did, which means results could be leaked by spoilers, and since this was a live, paid show, they didn't want that to happen, I guess? So, instead of having EC3 vs. Angle on their supposedly BIGGEST SHOW OF THE YEAR, a match that they've been building for months and months and months... they move it to the week after and tape it a week before... so it can be spoiled anyway. Same thing with the Best of 5 series. They already taped the final match before tonight, but the match type and set-up didn't 'reveal' the winner for Slammiversary tonight. They didn't want to have the match happen on Slammiversary, which would mean whomever wins the belts would be walking around with them during the six future episodes they taped, spoiling the result a few days before. Now, a sensible person might ask "Why the fuck would you schedule tapings so you couldn't put important, drawing matches on PPV?" That sensible person wouldn't be in TNA, so the question's moot. |
Seems incredibly stupid. No wonder this company is losing money.

Then my ruse was doubly successful!

I remember, but I'm not going to share, because I want the original intent to be lost to time.

Oh, that can still happen, but can't you at least PM me? Suckas gots ta know, Tony!
Also, in regards to Truth's ban from Canada: I remember that, but it isn't what I meant. Somebody had a ban from Japan, and it prevented them from going on an overseas WWE tour while they were in a semi-major angle at the time and it supposedly screwed with planned matches. I was thinking it was R-Truth when he first went musicless, anti-Cena heel... but I really don't remember. Hell, might not have even been Japan. In fact, I wanted to initially say it was MVP, but that CAN'T be right, as he made a pretty good living in Japan after leaving WWE. |
mvp definitely had a travel problem at first, when in wwe, because of his past crimes.

LOL FAILIVERSARY
Quote:
HOWEVER, TNA's audio and overall production issues for their biggest PPV is threadworthy and utterly laughable. Mr Anderson's mic didn't even work and he was just like 'fuck it.' And that pretty much sums up where most the backstage is at. Might as well bring back Russo (for free) to sink another ship. LOL FAILIVERSARY, LOL TNA, R.I.P., etc. |
Apparently similar to the new X-division belt, TNA recycled another old belt to create the new King of the Mountain belt.
Its just the old Legends belt with the "Legends" nameplate removed. |
Biggest problem for me with TNA has been using PPV to setup TV. They've been doing it for years. I guess the ad money/ratings matter that much more than buyrates? Seems silly, but I'm no doctor.

this is possibly the greatest thing ever.

I understand the reasoning for it now (as pointed out previously, what with the TV show being taped in advance etc) but it just seems so ass-backward. TNA truly is doomed to repeat WCW's mistakes. As I said before too, the PPV was actually much better than I was expecting, for the most part. The few matches I watched were decent. |
