Fellow Brits, this site claims to "deal directly with WWE, UFC and TNA Wrestling and their manufacturers" and that "All merchandise is 100% Officially licenced and brand new".
Though T-Shirts do cost £30 but a T-Shirt straight from WWEShop costs about $24.99, which is something like £16. So I'm guessing that the main reason that the site is liked by some Brits is the fact that there's no long wait for shipping? http://www.wrestlingshop.co.uk/ So what do you guys think of the site? I've came across it a few times in the past but never really trusted it. Though I was wanting to buy this T-Shirt, but they only have is in XXL. http://www.wrestlingshop.co.uk/image...wwe-tshirt.jpg I wanted to buy it from WWEShop when it first got listed, but there was no surprise that it sold out pretty fast. Well, my size did anyway. I contacted WWEShop asking if they would be restocking the T-Shirt but they never got back to me. Seeing as I'm mentioning it, anyone know where I can buy one? Amazon & Ebay have nothing. |

Interesting note: They never revealed who was supposed to be #22 in that match.
|
According to the dirtsheets/Wrestling Observer, the WWE is still undecided on what to do with the undercard for Mania.

Haven't they learned by now that Truth vs Cesaro is NOT a good match?

Jericho vs Fandango would steal the show. Why this hasn't been made official yet is beyond me.

Boom. Match booked.

lol if Jericho returned to the company to face Fandango at WrestleMania.
I mean, the guy is all about getting a new star built up. He even wanted Ryback to win the title at Hell in a Cell. What better guy to put over at WrestleMania than the legend in the making... the great J.C. |

Daniels and Kazarian needed the spiked shoulderpads to mock the Road Warriors but they got the face paint right
|
WWE is fucking stupid if they don't do Jericho/Ziggler. I think it'd be a good idea for them to do a 30 minute IronMan match.

The newest video package about the Rock/Cena match implies Cena's marriage fell apart because he was obsessing about the Rock. Seriously. :wtf:
|
Sounds good to me.
|
It fell apart because he was getting his dick wet with a porn star.
I mean, seriously, why the fuck is Cena saying that he's had a bad year? He lost to Rock, then went on to main event pretty much every show above the champion unless he was in the title match. And he had an easy match with John Fucking Laurinitis. He had a pretty sweet year. He can go fuck himself. |
it's a work boys and girls
|
I'd KILL to have one of John Cena's "bad years."

* Kaitlyn (c) vs. AJ Lee for the Divas Championship
* The Apex Warriors (Randy Orton, Sheamus & Big Show) vs. The Shield * Mark Henry vs. Ryback * Team Hell No (c) vs. Rhodes Scholars vs. Kofi Kingston & R-Truth in a TLC Match for the WWE Tag Team Championship * Chris Jericho vs. Dolph Ziggler * Very European (Wade Barrett & Antonio Cesaro) vs. The Miz & Sin Cara Those are the six matches you add to WrestleMania in addition to The Rock vs. Cena, Taker vs. Punk, Triple H vs. Lesnar and Del Rio vs. Swagger. I do wonder where the fuck Christian is, but if he's Mania ready, you do an announced pre-show Battle Royal hosted by Ted DiBiase, Sr. for the Million Dollar Championship. The Million Dollar Title doesn't come back as an actual championship, but just as a trophy of the night sort of thing. Ted DiBiase, Jr. returns during that match, but so does Christian, and it's Captain Charisma who wins the match, the title and a cheque for $1,000,000 from Ted DiBiase, Sr. Christian gets interviewed on the main Mania show where they show highlights of the Battle Royal and he cuts a few jokes before he's attacked from behind by DiBiase, Jr. There's a feud coming out of Mania for you. Wade Barrett retains the IC Title next week and he and Antonio Cesaro host a segment where they say that it is a travesty that they aren't yet featured on the Mania card as your Intercontinental and US Champion respectively. Ric Flair comes out and says that at WrestleMania he's got a team that can put down Barrett & Cesaro -- and introduces us to The Miz & Sin Cara. Or you can swap Christian and Sin Cara over. I like Christian more and he's more Mania ready, but the WWE might want to give Sin Cara the exposure. |

Not sure if it was revealed before but apparently Lindsey Rutherford is the name of the woman who is with Fandango in all his segments. She's also an actual ballroom dancer instructor and not some indy valet or woman's wrestler.
|
All his segments?
I heard that they've always been different women and that the WWE have been sending out adverts to local dance studios in the cities that Raw & SmackDown would be taking place in, asking the studio for their best ballroom dancer. :-\ |

Guess the place that stated the name was wrong then. The name revealed must have been just for this week's RAW.
Also had no clue they were all different until watching Smackdown today. Then again usually end up watching RAW and Smackdown on a stream and never bothered to really notice it. |

there's a new great looking documentary being made on Jim Crockett Promotions
http://www.kickstarter.com/projects/...ns-documentary Why we need your help: We have produced "shoot interviews" with wrestling legends before and we have even completed a bigger challenge, the Dynamite Kid Documentary funded here on Kickstarter. Now we want to produce the definitive documentary on Jim Crockett Promotions and how that company impacted wrestlers, wrestling fans, and the wrestling world. We are going to cover from it's beginnings up until it was sold to Ted Turner. <iframe width="480" height="360" src="http://www.kickstarter.com/projects/460538362/jim-crockett-promotions-documentary/widget/video.html" frameborder="0"> </iframe> <iframe width="640" height="360" src="http://www.youtube.com/embed/tKdDnMXXD_c?feature=player_detailpage" frameborder="0" allowfullscreen></iframe> |
As the site I usually use to catch up on Raw/SmackDown (TV.telly-TV.com) is down, I'm forced to search YouTube for an upload. Can't believe how many/understand why people upload fake vids (correct date, wrong/no footage). Seems like a total waste of time/bandwidth.
|
It gets worse once a new WWE game comes out because a lot more uploads end up being just video game versions of matches or shows instead of the actual ones.
|
Yeah. Found one that started with Wade Barrett vs. Sheamus intake footage, then moved on to a picture of Mick Foley with audio from the game. What is the point?

I think I'll just stick to WWEShop and the insane shipping prices. |

Like Smelly Meatball said, video game versions come up a lot. Coming across those videos has happened many times to me, along with clicking to watch a video and all it is, is some guy/kid talking about their thoughts on that episode of SmackDown with a screencap from the episode as the video. You would think those sort of videos would be titled something like "My thoughts on SmackDown 3/15/13", but instead you have titles such as "3/15/13 SmackDown HQ Part 1" or whatever. It's all just for views I think, which is a bit sad. If YouTube comes up with nothing, always remember about Dailymotion. There was a period of time last year that I forgot that the site even existed, but a good few times I've searched and I've found SmackDown, both in parts and as one whole video. The only problem with Dailymotion is that every five or ten minutes, the video stops and an advert plays, though you can always close it. :y: |
Not just torrent the shows?
|
Being honest, most of the time, I can't be arsed.

lol Vince wanted to fight Dana White at Wrestlemania back in 2011
UFC President Dana White, who has drawn many comparisons to Vince McMahon, revealed in an interview Friday night on Canadian French sports network RDS that the WWE promoter had once proposed that they fight. While being interviewed by former NHL player Denis Gauthier, Jr., whose wife is the sister of former WWE wrestlers Jacques Rougeau and Raymond Rougeau, Gauthier jokingly asked White who would reign supreme if he were to be locked up inside a steel cage with McMahon. The UFC figurehead revealed that the fantasy duel could have become a reality. "Let me tell you something, and I've never said this before ever in any interview anywhere. If Vince hear's this, he's going to go nuts. Vince is too old, which he won't think he is, and he'll go crazy. And he wanted to [fight] one time," remarked White. "Vince wanted to fight me. Swear to God. Called me up and said, "Let's do it." We can either do it in the UFC, or let's do it at WrestleMania. And I said, "You are crazy." White noted of the 67-year-old: "I always have said it, and I'll say it again; I respect Vince very much. But Vince is too old to be fighting anybody." According to Wrestling Observer editor Dave Meltzer, McMahon had proposed that White fight him at the 2011 pay-per-view event WrestleMania XXVII. It was the WWE chief's idea of a double main-event match—the other being John Cena vs. The Miz for the WWE Championship. |

During my many searches for that comic, one of them presented this unintentionally amusing headline.

randomly watched Owen Hart and Yokozuna versus the smoking gunns at WrestleMania 11. really good match
|
Watching this week's episode of Superstars makes me think of just forgetting about watching the show at all from now on. Superstars is an hour long show, but this week's episode only had about 12 minutes of wrestling and the other 48 minutes was adverts and recaps. :-\
R-Truth vs Michael McGillicutty was around 8 minutes long and Zack Ryder vs JTG was about 4 minutes long. |
Is like Superstars is today's Metal or Jakked, but without the random unknown jobbers.
