XL 01-26-2014 04:05 PM

That said, I'll be catching an online stream in the morning. Can't stay up til 4am.

XL 01-26-2014 04:08 PM

Kinda want them to have a 40 man Rumble again tonight.

You'd have chaos in the backstage as guys are fighting left and right, attacking each other trying to gain entry/steal somebody else's spot until The Authority announce that they're expanding the Rumble to keep the chaos in the ring cos that's what's best for business.

Unfortunately the undercard is so stacked they wouldn't have time.

I have always found British Wrestling to be fascinating

British Wrestling back then didn't really have any sort of storyline - It was just Wrestler A hates Wrestler B

He actually had an awesome look sans mask. Better than many who lose the mask (Juvi)

How many times was the Figure 4 reversed or countered on Flair? As a "finisher" it seems to have a really bad habit of back firing.

That's the problem with submission finishers. I know pinfall finishers are going the same way with every main event match almost sure to have a finisher kick out or two but I never really felt like a submission finisher had the same "either this match is over or this is gonna be an epic moment" feel.

Alicia... Fox...

Indeed sad. That, and the angle of AJ being the longest reigning Diva's Champion a) is being relegated to WWE App fodder b) wasted on the fact that there is no solid Diva's roster to help anybody give a shit. Her streak is kinda like Helms with the Cruiserweight Title when there just wasn't a Cruiserweight division left anymore, or that time where there was only like two tag teams in the whole scene.

And indeed, Alicia Fox has grown to be decent in the ring... but with her tenure comes what is likely the highest streak of heel and face turns in WWE history and a laundry list of throwaway matches. That has the opposite effect from making people invest: being a perpetual loser who doesn't care what side of the fence she's on.

This needs to be an angle. Langston comes out with a barely fitting Lite Brite jacket and everything.

Watching Flair vs Sting from Clash of The Champions

They have ring judges and one of them is the brother from The Wonder Years.

Summer Rae confirmed she's replacing JoJo for the next season of Total Divas. Dirtsheets hinted a few times JoJo is likely to be getting released than get Divas training at NXT.

I'm really not all that in a Cody Rhodes/Goldust feud, especially going into Wrestlemania.

Would much rather keep them as a team for now. Would love to see a TLC match at Wrestlemania. Would get loadsa guys onto the show, and will add another special "big match" to the card. Perhaps Cody/Goldust vs. Usos vs. Real Americans vs. New Age Outlaws if they can take the bumps. If not, then perhaps Kofi/Xavier?

The Rogerer 01-27-2014 05:53 PM

Alicia Fox has been good in the ring in the last year, to absolutely no end.

Kinda hate that Batista has probably tried (and probably succeeded) to bang Katee Sackhoff and Karen Gillan.

GD 01-28-2014 03:12 AM

Rey Mysterio should've destroyed Sin Cara tonight, proceed to the mic and say that it was "best for business" and hand over his mask to Stephanie while exiting the stage. Next week, Kane comes out and introduces corporate Mysterio.
