According to the Observer and Post Wrestling, a possible reason why WWE now has longer over-runs for PPVs is due to them using a new metric to pad Network numbers in fiscal reports.
Supposedly they now track things based on minutes watched instead of views or something else so they can artificially boost the amount of interest the Network has as a service. Making PPVs longer lets them boost minutes watched per subscriber per month for reports. |

I've noticed with the recent T-Shirts that the WWE's graphic design department seem to be going through a phase of making logos for the wrestlers that mostly just consist of their initials.
