No Thanks.

I'm sure wrestling was Hella boring in 1880 and the last time that comment was funny.

We lost the legendary Mitsuharu Misawa six years ago today.

RIP Misawa-San.

Me too, although it isn't available from Euroshop for some reason. The only T-Shirt from that range that's available from Euroshop is the Andre The Giant one, so instead, I'm planning on buying it from WWE Shop, along with an nWo T-Shirt.

The only "problem" I have is that a small few have reviewed the nWo shirt and have said that the design has been off centre and some have faded after they washed it.

I can't be arsed sending it all the way back to America if it's off centre. When I accidently ordered the wrong size for my Cody Rhodes and Damien Sandow T-Shirts a few years ago, it was just one big ordeal sending them back and it probably cost me more money to send them back that it did to buy them.

When the Prime Time Players break up again I hope they give Darren Young a Barrett Wallace gimmick.

Anyone know wtf happened the referee in this? Suddenly he's on his hands and knees acting as if he was hurt by something. Seems like a good chunk was cut out as its nothing but an irish whip then a chokeslam and tombstone, but the commentator says he's making short work of the goon so maybe that was the whole match? Though something appears to have been chopped. :-\

I feel like you can take Kevin Owens out of that equation.

Black Widow 06-14-2015 07:44 PM

Zayn's stomach isn't as big as either one.

Lock Jaw 06-14-2015 07:46 PM

In that case it can be a picture of Zayn plus a pile of food.

As I've been watching the Attitude Era RAWs and PPVs, I got a new appreciation for today's product. As ridiculous as it gets sometimes, nothing is as absurd as The Undertaker trying to embalm Stone Cold Steve Austin alive.

Lock Jaw 06-15-2015 01:23 AM

I know Gertner thinks a lot of popular Divas are ugly so here is something to get his motor running:

Right? I'm only like a half-dozen episodes in, but it's really done the same for me too. Commentary some weeks has just been so bad too. I mean, sure, a lot of the time they're still focusing on the product, but there's a lot of the egregious "ignore this match and talk about Mike Tyson" sort of thing that they'd be reamed for today.

I think a lot of the episodes towards the end of 98 should be a lot better, but sweet jesus is a lot of early 98 rough.

Seth82 06-15-2015 09:52 AM

Just a spectacular tribute to the history of WCW from the 70s to the end.

I always come back to this when people talk about how much better the Attitude Era was. Yes, it had its great moments, but holy God most of those shows were pretty bad.

Now, today's product IS worse, but that doesn't change the fact that Attitude was, in general, pretty mediocre with some big bright spots.

I do enjoy how interconnected everything is. Like, most people have two or three feuds going at the same time, which gives your BIG FEUD time to breathe, while still giving you something to do without facing your BIG FEUD opponent sixty times.

Like Shawn Michaels is feuding with the Undertaker going into the Royal Rumble, but DX is also feuding with Owen Hart. Undertaker is also feuding with THE DEMON KANE.

New Age Outlaws are feuding with LOD, but while they're "on the shelf" they're feuding with/running away from Mick Foley and GOD DAMN CHAINSAW CHARLIE.

They'd benefit from doing something like that again. Have some mini-feuds that don't really matter in the grand scheme of things, but give guys something to do without having to over-expose your main feuds.

I was at the RAW IS WAR where the NAO pushed them off the stage in the dumpster. Such an amazing night of wrestling.

This time next week, I will be going and taking my 5 year old son to his first ever event!

WCW Desire. What a fucking joke. WCW is where desire went to die. Fat contracts with limited dates. WCW is the reason most of the now dead before their time wrestlers are dead.

drave 06-15-2015 01:15 PM

Please name a few wrasslers who were killed by WCW.

SlickyTrickyDamon 06-15-2015 01:16 PM

Davey Boy Smith. Trapped door fucked up his back that led to pain pills and everything that led to his death.

SlickyTrickyDamon 06-15-2015 01:20 PM

Generally speaking giving guys huge contracts to continue on their career even though their bodies were failing. Having to use whatever drugs to get by because of it. Instead of taking Road agent jobs in the WWE they continued wrestling. They could have healed up instead of taking more years off their lives compeiting well beyond their bodies would let them.

drave 06-15-2015 01:23 PM

They also could have said "no".

drave 06-15-2015 01:23 PM

Or not blown the money from the HUGE contracts.

Responding to your neg rep:

WCW isn't 1991-2001 btw.

Technically its history dates back to 1933. Jim Crockett Promotions was the promotion it was for 50 plus years til Ted Turner bought it.

Also you can't hold WCW responsible for those deaths imo. They didn't hold a gun to the heads of the talent and tell them to take drugs.

I love Davey Boy as much as the next guy, but you cannot tell me he hadn't taken a pain pill prior to that injury.....

James Steele 06-15-2015 05:20 PM

It is a pre-Christmas Raw and Terri and Jacqueline are raping Mark Henry with whip cream. I feel mad uncomfortable watching this. How the fuck did my parents let me watch this when I was 9?

While there might be some exaggeration, their treatment of guys with drug and alcohol issues was pretty terrible, although at the time WWE was no better.

Making a joke out of Scott Hall's abuse and basically paying him to be a drunk and making it "fun", wasn't great.

Think Louie Spiccoli is similar, he was out of control and they did nothing about it.

Don't think WWE gets enough credit for how much they have improved that aspect of the business in recent years, for whatever reasons they did it.
