"Our Time" Vs. "OuttaTime"

Can't believe the Cubs made this this far. It's density.

Yeah, we know. Every single person who read that post knew what you were talking about. You didn't have to post a picture or further explain it.
The MLB playoffs have been fucking incredible. They've literally killed whatever interest I had in the NHL.

Yah crazy to think that with 4 teams left, there are entire divisions that are eliminated. After this round there will only be one team from each league still in it. Insane.
I think he was just trying to say "LOLWESTCOAST" but he picked a very dumb, roundabout way to go about it.
he's also the moron who shows up every few months to go CANADA IS THE BEST FUCK EVERYONE ELSE, so I was wondering where he was going with that
Happy for all the teams who made it to the LCS
Now how about Donnie leaves the Dodgers and comes home

Girardi gets a ton ofpraise for being super prepared. Apparently he carries a mega size binder with him with tons of stats and info on advance scouting reports. What those stats are and how useful they are is in question, but a guy that devoted to harboring info with him is my kind of guy. Seems he'd be open to more modern lines of thought and game management.
It is quite zaney to think that a division was eliminated from the divisional series round.

Yeah I mean a guy goes from 16 hrs to 54 at age 29..nothing fishy going on there

Let's go Royals!

Droford questions Bautista's legitimacy yet fails to mention Chris Davis getting popped for adhd meds and also learning how to hit seemingly overnight after being abysmal in Texas. And let us not forget good old finger waiving Rafael Palmero, vehemently denying steroid use in front of congress only to get popped later. Wasn't Brian Roberts linked to ped use as well?

Also, remember when Palmero started to wear earplugs after he got pinched? Classic. |
Yeah I immediately thought of Brady Anderson, but realistically everyone was on the juice. And it WAS odd that he never came close to being a power hitter again *checks career stats* yep I'm right, minus a 24 hr season so yeah a little odd.
Bautista is also 6'0 205, not exactly a giant, and his body change is a realistic one, if you take the time to work out in the gym, not matter what age you are. going from 180-205 lbs is literally an off season of weight training. |
USA USA USA
SUCK IT THE BLUE JAYS! |
shadddddup. But yeah, this is one of those nights where the jays tip their caps. Straight up shut down. Price has to pick them up tomorrow.
Why do you hate America?
because you sing that stupid song during the 7th inning stretch and it's awful.
Stay out of America.
but seattle is pretty sweet
Volquez was amazing
How a boot their pen?
absolutely terrifying

Roberts and Palmeiro are other stories. |
Aside from one home run Tulowitzki has looked dreadful this postseason. jesus.
...you're welcome, Jays
Toronto fans loud and proud in Kansas City. Royals fans need to pick it up for the home team.
David Price tosses 6 near-perfect innings, is handed a 3-0 lead, and is now departing down 4-3 in the 7th. unreal. had the chance to eliminate his "bad playoff pitcher" stigma and blew it spectacularly.
Jays needs to hold it to 1 year. KC pen is ridiculous but the Jays are still capable of knocking one out. |
Blue Jays falling apart right now in the 7th.
and just like that, KC gets an insurance run. that's a very scary team right there.
Jays pretty much need to win all 3 in Toronto to have a chance of advancing. Kauffman Stadium just isn't suited to their strengths.
Wooooo, royals!
How'd the Royals pen do today?
Pete Rose has been really good doing studio analysis. Seemed like he could have been just a goofy old codger, but I've been pleasantly surprised with his ability to handle live TV. I don't remember him doing this before.
Should sing God Bless America after every foul ball rather just the 7th inning stretch.
the BEAST Jon Lesnar
Sweet hit Murphy
Mets Let's Goh Mets Let's Goh |
Blue Jays gonna get swept just like the Orioles did last year
You'd think Chicago was like in southern California
Has Harvey set any pitch count or appearance number?
Cespedes for the rest of us.
If the Mets win tonight Cubs can't clinch a WS birth on BTTF2 day.
WOOOOOOOOOOOOO
Holy shitballs Murph! |
Really fun game this was. Great pitching, some nice defensive plays, a couple of moon shots. This'll be a fun series.
Huge win for the Mets though. Losing tonight would have made tomorrow practically a must-win vs. Arrieta. Cubs are way too good of a team to fall behind 2-0 to. |
Well, I hope Doc Brown throws out the first pitch in Chicago anyways. NLCS is close enough.
Did they just say "who motherfucking" on TBS?
Quote:
SPOILER: show |
Shit bttf seems kinda doomed. Mets have earned it too though.
CJ!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Fuck yes! Great pitching all around and nice to see Murph and Granderson continuing to be clutch. 2-0 series lead.
Kansas is down right nasty. If the Jays don't win tonight, they're getting swept.
Will you stop posting in the MLB thread when that happens?
Good third inning for the Jays.... hope there is no "collapse" this time....

Will probably jump off a cliff if the Jays lose. I'm emotionally fragile
Christ the Royals are good. Thank god the Jays put 11 on the board.
Gonna be very tough to get past this series if they keep having to score that many just to barely win.
The Goins/Bautista blunder in Game 2 going to cost them huge, I'm predicting a KC win in 7, TO wins the next 2 to take the 3-2 lead, but KC going to be too much at home in the end.....
The fans were pretty loud for the Blue Jays in game 2 when they were winning. If they can get 2 more at home they could take the air out of the arena with a few Bautistabombs.
literally have no idea how the jays win this series. without cecil, they have no weapons in the pen to shut things down when shit gets sticky
it's literally impossible
they should just quit why would these professional niggers show up when the otha professional nigs are so much better. And no Brett Cecil? Glory god be, pack it up, why even play the games |
Going to hunt you down and stab you
I do think the Jays need to win the next 2 to win the series. Going down 3-2 headed back to KC wouldn't bode well for them at all as Kauffman Stadium doesn't play to the Jays' strengths.
To a lesser degree I could say the same about the Cubs. Their bats were tamed quite a bit in Citi so they'll need to take advantage of the friendly confines of Wrigley. |
Dickey & Young on the mound for Game 4, has the potential to be a 17-15 game with those potential gas cans.....
They peaked.
Quote:
Will be 70 with wind blowing out 9 MPH toward left. Conditions favor the Cubs and their home run ways. No excuses about it being cold.
Need at least one win so I can get the money for my game 5 tickets. |
Mets will win WS
Well...this is gonna be a high scoring game if that Schwarber HR was any indication. Didn't even make good contact and it went out opposite field to left.
Cubs can't drive runners in from scoring position. Thats been their problem. Relying too much on the home run.
I think I just saw Hannibal Burress in the crowd.
Hahaha wow
If there's one thing Terry Collins does that pisses me off above all else, it's that with a man on first, 1 out, and the pitcher up he ALWAYS takes the bunt off after 2 strikes. And it nearly always results in a GIDP. Been happening all year.
I don't understand it. If you're gonna bunt, just commit to it. I sure as hell would have rather had deGrom strike out trying to bunt and bring Granderson up in this wind with 2 men on than leading off the next inning. |
Murphy is on the juice.
You know he's gonna get a 3/30 mil deal from someone and suck fn balls after this.

Series ain't over yet. Of Estrada pulls a rabbit out of hos hat who knows what can happen. |

Wouldn't shock me if a team went to 4 or 5 now at an even higher AAV. Supposedly the Mets have zero interest in bringing him back regardless of his postseason heroics and no matter what he does going forward. He doesn't get on base all that much, which goes against Alderson's philosophy. He's also mostly terrible defensively even though he can play at 3 spots. |
Mets pitching has carried them in this postseason, but the bats are going to need to shoulder the load in these games in Wrigley. Simple as that.
for fucks sake
NIGGA KEPT THROWING CURVEBALLS IN THE DIRT....WTF HE THINK WAS GONNA HAPPEN....
Soler lucky as fuck there.
lucky ass cubs....
