Just noticed Johnny Gargano as a security guard in one of the segments in the first season of NXT where Daniel Bryan and Michael Cole were getting into it.

I never watched the third season of NXT, so I'm starting now. This is fucking hilariously stupid. I might finish this whole thing tonight.

Yeah the season was pretty great for the amount of comedic moments but also pretty terrible in hind sight from the non-stop trashing of the all-female cast by Cole and WWE making it obvious they barely cared about the season. Cole really comes off as the worst person involved the longer the season goes on.

Think only Redemption was treated worse during its seasonal phase.

I'm gonna check out Redemption after this season.

Also, I'm not sure if you guys are hip to this or not, but Maxine, Jamie, Kaitlyn, and AJ are all pretty fucking hot.

Jesus. The AAF football league is launching after the next Superbowl, on CBS and has Peter Thiel money investing in it by the son of longtime NBC Sports executive Dick Ebersol, doing everything Vince laid out for the XFL and beating them to market and network TV.

There's not enough talent or support for 3 football leagues. I doubt the XFL launches now, unfortunately, as Vince won't move on from wrasslin'.

The Miz and Daniel Bryan have consistently detested each other on screen for eight years. That's a level of continuity that's just unheard of for WWE.

This league (and XFL v2) will only succeed if it ends up being a feeder/minor league system to the NFL. If they try to target the same type of market Vince wants, its going to fail miserably. Thiel being involved is also a big red flag though considering some of his views and rep.

Shame for the WWE since that valuable Vince-free period is gone or a lot shorter now. Triple H's side probably needs at least 1-2 years to do all the key changes and stuff in order to move away from the Vince era.

I'm really pumped for WM. I think the card is insane. The marquee matches with Lesnar/Reigns, Nakamura/Styles, Ronda/McMahon, Bryan/Sami/Zayn/Shane, Taker/Cena, Charlotte Auska, Nia/Bliss... that's an awesome card. And then you have just as many other matches which could be memorable or steal the show given the chance. This could be one of the best if they just let it go.

Was thinking the same. If they really focus on the in-ring stuff and not have 2.5 hours of advertising and music concerts, this could potentially be the best Mania ever.

Felt in the mood to watch something random for wrestling so I picked out Mania 24 from my small wrestling collection.

Forgot how terrible the Hornswoggle as Vince's son angle was and early HD era being a bit of a mess for the WWE in terms of not figuring out how to move their logo to the side of the screen.

Think its the MitB match or the match after it that gets some light rain due to how bad the weather was for the early part of the event.

:lol: at the Snoop Dogg & Festus skit at Mania 24. Kind of funny how Playboy was one of WWE's biggest sponsors for years and then got abruptly dropped once Mattel became the biggest sponsor for the WWE.

Umaga was easily the best Monster character the WWE had since early era Kane. Also one of the rare monster characters who actually stayed relevant after losing his first major feud.

No matter how many times I've seen it before, HBK-Flair is still an amazing match to watch. HBK's 2nd run was fantastic for the amount of amazing Mania matches he had.

On the inverse, the BunnyMania match is still bad. Snoop's stuff might have been longer than the match itself. Snoop's throne was the best part of the whole thing and I should probably invest some of TPWW's royal treasury into getting one as well.

That was, funnily enough, the second best trash can throw of the match. The first being when Finlay threw it into the ring to begin with, smacking JBL in the head.
