Major R-Truth/WWE Problems!
– R-Truth was unable to work WWE’s tour of Canada this past week because he is prohibited from entering the country as a result of receiving a citation a few years ago. In December 2008, he was detained at the Canadian border upon his arrival in the country and subsequently sent home. This was when he was with TNA Wrestling. WWE was aware of the situation ahead of time and did not book Truth for any of the shows. < Ryan Clark
How is not showing up for house shows that your not scheduled for, considered a major problem? First, he wasn't scheduled and second, IT'S A FUCKING HOUSE SHOW. Seriously... I thought I posted crap posts. :-/ I'm bewildered. |

When you're as big a draw as R-Truth, it can be problematic.

i didn't think it was possible for your posts to get any worse

Like Kane Knight says, If you can draw fans but can't be booked it's a "Major Problem".

To be fair, WWE Films was supposed to be a Triple H vehicle. Boy, did that take the wrong turn, eh?
But still, I don't remember the film Taker was supposed to do offhand. Just the one people keep mistaking for a Taker flick. |

Anyway, the Trips movie is called "Journey of Death," and a lot of false info came out around it. I'm betting that's where LoP got it. |
Well i heard about it on here when the marine was being released. Maybe that info also came from LOP.

Front page failure news.
– "As seen last Friday on SmackDown!, Dolph Ziggler attacked Christian from behind on the “Peep Show,” green-lighting a program between the two. Internally, the program is being seen as a demotion for Christian, but a promotion for Ziggler. Furthermore, advertised house show line-ups have Christian teaming up with Hornswoggle to take on Ziggler and Chavo Guerrero." Just when we thought we had seen the last of Chavo/Swoggle. :nono: |
can't we get any love for Christian

Miz & Jericho = Good Idea or better singles
Chris Jericho is obviously a great wrestler.
He can rock the main event matches or lower himself to up the new talent into his game. The Miz is an upcoming star and is full of charisma like Jericho. Recently the WWE has teamed them up and have made them top heels on Raw. As of Monday, WWE teased the WWE Universe that Jericho could be getting into the Main Event once again. What do you feel is best for WWE Programming? If WWE is shorthanded by Ortons injury, should they use Jericho or keep him with Miz to focus on Tag Team Wrestling? These 2 are nearly the same size, and possess great mic skills. What if anything are they lacking? A proper tag team name? A proper entrance music for both of them? Should they be pushed hard as a tag team? Could Jericho put over Miz even further as a annoying heel? Trollers Warning: Come on here to diss me and not discuss the topic at hand is just a waste of yours and our time as I'm not going anywhere. K Thanks! The Fan |

I am game for anything these two guys do... A run as a team would be great until the two egos got in the way and an eventual feud would kick some ass!
|
So like Edge & Jericho but a longer run.
|
i say better off single. i am not a fan of putting 2 upper mid-card/main event guys together with no real direction behind it. jericho is a great worker but i will never believe him as a team player, and the miz is rising fast on his own and doesnt need to be in a team of any kind to do it
|
unless they're gonna prove without a doubt that they're better than JeriShow and ShowMiz, there's really no point. they both are better off as singles.
|
Tag Team but NO ONE CARES

Jericho has had his time at the top and I think this is the right place for him to be right now rather than being a midcarder and will only benefit Miz for when there ready to push him further.
|
I think they should still be singles in the upper card and main event scenes but they should still be a unit. Like a main event tag team. That doesn't mean they should only be involved in tag team feuds. The only problem I see with breaking them up is one of them will probably turn babyface but I'd prefer both as heels

If they split up, I can enjoy Jericho again.

I think I would probably prefer them both as singles, however, with the current cluttered rosters due to the closing of ECW, a tag team is a good way to get both of them simultaneous television time on a consistent basis. I wish they would have held off a bit on the feud with the Hart Dynasty though, just to make an eventual match between the teams less predictable in the Harts favor.
|
I'd rather them be singles guys.

I think they would do better as singles guys. They could team up occasionally, though. I really want to see John Morrison rock a feud with Chris Jericho. That could be a star-maker. The only thing is working out where The Miz then fits. A feud with Daniel Bryan could be quite cool. There is no need to rush The Miz to the top. He will naturally rise (as long as efforts aren't made to keep him down, which I don't think will be the case).
You could combine the feuds into a sweet Chris Jericho & Miz vs. John Morrison & Daniel Bryan match. Don't tell me that would not be awesome. |
Hi Noid.
I like the fact that The Miz is being put with Jericho because it's like how Orton got put with Edge back in 2006 to create the rated rko. It's going to give The Miz more of a character and edge to him. |
To be honest, I didn't feel Rated-RKO. I felt that Edge was just far too dominant. I don't exactly remember the booking, but he was just the far more solid performer. The Miz is holding his own with Jericho, but I'd rather see him hold his own somewhere else.
|
Although, for some reason, I really like the idea of a stable consisting of Chris Jericho, The Miz, NXT Winner Wade Barrett and Ted DiBiase. I don't know what their "theme" would be, or why they stay together as a unit -- but complete domination could be point enough.

World War 3 or The Triple Cage or Faction Based PPVs
I did a poll earlier. Which organization was better. Although the WWF won, WCW had ALOT of votes.
WWF had the likes of The Rock, SCSA, and other great wrestlers. Why was WCW so awesome? World War 3 was an annual professional wrestling pay-per-view event produced by World Championship Wrestling. The pay-per-view's title also was the name of its signature match, a three-ring, sixty-man battle royal which was their answer to the World Wrestling Federation's Royal Rumble. The event took place every November. Like the Royal Rumble, the World War 3 match was held at the event that shared its name. All of the events took place at two venues, the Norfolk Scope and The Palace of Auburn Hills. In 1999, it was replaced by Mayhem. The rules for a World War 3 match were similar to the rules for a Royal Rumble match. There were two major differences: The WW3 match is played out in three rings, each holding twenty men. All sixty men start the match at the same time (the same rules as a traditional battle royal). The rules for the World War 3 match were: All sixty men were randomly assigned a specific ring before the match began. The match began with all sixty men, in three rings, when the bell rings. A competitor must knock his opponent over the top rope of the ring, and both feet must touch the floor of the arena in order to eliminate said opponent from the match. This rule was amended in 1998 to allow for eliminations if a person leaves the ring in any way, in addition to counting pinfalls and submissions. When thirty men remained, they moved to the central ring and the match continued. This rule was amended in 1998 so that the competitors had to move to the central ring once forty men had been eliminated. The last man standing in the ring was declared the winner. Was it because of World War 3? The Triple Cage was used by the WCW only twice: first, at Slamboree 2000, Jeff Jarrett beat Diamond Dallas Page and David Arquette (defending the WCW World Heavyweight Championship) to win the title. In this match, Chris Kanyon was thrown from the roof of one of the cages, "paralyzing" him. The other, taking place on the September 4, 2000 episode of WCW Monday Nitro, was the 2000 edition of the WarGames match. Ready To Rumble was inspired by this set up. Was it because of The Triple Cage? Or was it because of selected PPVs that were billed as NWO vs The WolfPac in it's titles. It was a complete invasion of the factions.. Some might say that WCW went down due to too much stake and sight being put into the factions and not on the wrestling talent itself. Why do you feel WCW was so successful and why hasn't WWE repeated any of their great successes while TNA continues on focusing on the same successes but not being as popular. The Fan |
Like a modern day Evolution or Four Horsemen of sorts.
|
WCW had NWO.
|
WCW had the superior wrestling, especially in the midcard.

You learned how to copy and paste, WOW!!! .... Still a bad thread.
|
Although, It's not as bad as others, WCW was awesome because of the NWO and the technical wrestlers they had. I would imagine having the cruiserweights from Mexico also helped them.

Put them both in the US Title scene. Yeah you can say Jericho is above the US title. But if he's not gonna be in the WWE Title scene then I say why not...Then again WWE is lacking Tag Team competition.

Isn't it ironic to put Jericho in the US Title scene? Afterall, he's been all gunhoe about Canada ties since Bret's been back. Maybe Bret should institute a Canadian title.

Big Show is as awful of a face as Kane
Both Characters have no real edge.
Big Show is a big bully who is out of shape. So is Kane. Any old timers know that when Kane had his mask on, and Show was The Giant, both were fit and on their game. It's like Hogan & Flair. Old and out of shape, which no1 want's to see.. Keep your shirts on. Big Show has been tossed around like a football since coming into the WWE. He has gained weight, lost hair, and been used face, heel, and made fun of repeatedly. Stars like Kevin Nash, and The Undertaker can count their fame on changing of their gimmicks when needed. Is it time for The Big Show and Kane to get new makeovers or new gimmicks completely? What can be left for these two? What would you like to see happen to these two? Trollers Warnings: Failure to answer the topic at hand and bashing my post will just result in a victory for me and Adam Evans. The Fan |
