I think the Inner Circle is flawed so i'm going to solve it.

First of all, Jericho and MJF have to go. So what happens is that Jericho and MJF begin to campaign to the rest of the Inner Circle why they should lead them. This leads to a match. MJF wins. But IC dont trust MJF at all.

Sammy Guevera gets Ortiz and Santana together and they decide that they should be the Inner Circle and they're gonna add 1 more guy. Hager still wants Jericho in and he still hates Wardlow. Sammy, Ortiz and Santana love Wardlow but hate MJF. At a PPV, Hager fights MJF in Jericho's honor and to get him back in the Inner Circle. Hager loses, but then Inner Circle turns on MJF, rejecting his leadership. Wardlow destroys Hager in the process and then turns as if he's going to help MJF, but instead he turns on MJF and becomes the 4th man in the Inner Circle.

Inner Circle should only be 4 guys IMO. MJF is way too good to need to be in a stable right now. Jericho is fat and out of shape and that leaves 1 spot for the " Big Guy Enforcer " of the stable. Wardlow makes the stunning turn. Sammy, Ortiz and Santana choose Wardlow over Hager.

Sammy is the leader of Inner Circle.

It's pretty inarguable that AEW is the most mainstream wrestling promotion other than WWE. You could make a case for New Japan I suppose, but they aren't mainstream with American audiences more than AEW is.

Without WWE doing Mania to feed from I think having AEW join up would be the smartest move possible. I can't imagine at this point NJPW drawing over 5k to the Garden at this time. They've cooled off greatly in 2020. I'd think it's still a tough venue for both AEW and NJPW to sell out legit but it would be a worthy effort.

I feel they can't really bring in Naito, because Mox is the only top guy (actual Main Eventer) that can share a ring with Naito and not look like a total dork in comparison. Besides him, maybe Page and one or two of the hosses (who aren't Main Eventers).

The biggest benefit to an AEW partnership for New Japan is going to be bolstering BOSJ and to a much greater extent World Tag League. Borrowing a few tag teams from the talent pool for a month would be a great benefit there. FTR, Santana & Ortiz, either of the Dark Order teams, Lucha Bros. TH2 for the super jrs. All fresh. I'm sure Gedo would like Best Friends back so he can finish up the unhinged Chuck Taylor angle which never got a payoff. Maybe that's just me though.

Jungle Boy, Pac, Fenix, Cassidy, Starks, Darby and so on could do some good work with the Jrs. Hiromu or SHO versus anyone right now is going to be fantastic.

I also think that one of the key things about his Itoh Tweets is that he flippantly said, "while plenty of talented wrestlers sit idle", or words to that effect.

If he was genuinely wanting what's best for wrestling, he would have used that Tweet (and any others) to put over and promote some of those talented wrestlers, rather than using his platform to put down others. But he's not about making wrestling better, he's about drawing jaded older fans toward him and away from the current product. He's actively detrimental to wrestling, and has been for some time.

WWE just plays hardball with a cookie dough included; they don't care what AEW does so they just do as they do and they'll be on their way.

AEW is trying to look innovative or special or new or whatever but the reality is wwe will always have a little more to be ahead of the curve.

He's just one of these guys you have to accept for his benefits as well as his downsides. There'a no separating them, it's all one package. On one hand he's gotta be one of the most if not the most passionate wrestling fan thay has ever lived and IMO top 5 wrestling storyteller ever. Almost nobody else I'd rather listen to tell an old road story. On the other hand, he's just a bitter cunt about the wrestling business. He can't accept that times change and that what he once viewed as wrestling isn't going to be back. He can either adapt or complain and he's chosen the complain route.

Overall, I absolutely love the guy. Is he good for the current wrestling product? No, probably not.
