Another good match now. Best one of the PTP I would say. Only 3 matches with 1 being a squash and the usual PPV build-up but it was a very good wrestling show.

Tyson Kidd is fantastic. Still weird seeing him on NXT jobbing to Camacho and feuding with McGillicutty when he is in the MitB match and seemingly receiving a push.

Ok. Now that I have seen Bray Wyatt in the ring, I can say that he has firmly won me over. He managed to keep up his gimmick during the match, and was moving about well. I liked that he kept his shirt on so I couldn't see his terrible tattoos, or him jiggling about. I really hope they find some way to keep him on TV through his injury.

Disliked the Seth Rollins promo/package. Dude just comes across as so forced.

Liked the Richie/Kruger segment. Nothing much, but a hint of having some actual sort of storyline/feuds with the new talent.

The "Exfoliating Ugliness Tour" showed promise, but they could have come up with a better name for it.

Prime Time Players vs The Usos. Jim Ross saying it is an important match to try to impress WWE Officials. You know. Because it is not like the PTP are not already the number one contenders for the tag titles. Found myself bored with this match. Probably because it seemed like The Usos got very little offense.

Liked this week's episode and like how well Wyatt managed to carry over the hype video promos to actual in-ring stuff.

Also like how NXT shows some focus on tag team wrestling when RAW struggles to do anything with actual tag team wrestling most of the time.

The box office said the third NXT taping at Full Sail was sold-out for the night.

There is a new arena lay-out. The banners that used to be on the back wall of the arena have been brought forward and now hang over the floor seats, but higher up. The announce table is back to the stage, but now on the right-hand side.

Jim Ross, William Regal, and Byron Saxton were introduced for commentary.
Dark Match: Alex Riley beat Antonio Cesaro with a neckbreaker. Really good back and forth match.

First Episode taping:

NXT GM Dusty Rhodes announced an eight-man “Gold Rush tournament” to determine the first NXT Champion. The belt looks sick – the main plate is a big yellow “X.”

(1) Richie Steamboat beat Leo Kruger in a First Round NXT Title tournament match. Exactly the kind of competitive match that NXT needed.

(2) Big E. Langston squashed Adam Mercer. Impressive first NXT showing for Langston.

(3) Raquel Diaz beat Audrey. This match was awful. Diaz botched her Gory Bomb so badly that they had to re-shoot it. There was a loud “You can’t wrestle” chant.

(4) Mike Dalton & Jason Jordan beat Hunico & Camacho after Dalton reversed Camacho’s powerbomb into a roll-up.

(5) Seth Rollins (Tyler Black) beat Drew McIntyre in a First Round NXT Title tournament match. . Rollins won with the Black-Out. This match is so worth checking out. Brilliant exchanges and nearfalls toward the end.

Second Episode taping:

(1) Michael McGillicutty beat Justin Gabriel in a First Round NXT Title tournament match. Mike won with a running neckbreaker in another great match. This tournament has been very competitive so far.

(2) Kassius Ohno (Chris Hero) beat C.J. Parker. Ohno brutalized Parker and won with a rolling elbow to the back of the head. Kassius looks savage in the ring and his offense was over with the unsympathetic males.

(3) Jinder Mahal beat Bo Dallas via submission in a First Round NXT Title tournament match. Mahal won with the Camel Clutch. Plodding and boring.

Third episode taping:

(1) Paige & Tamina beat Caylee Turner & Kaitlyn.
Scotty 2 Hotty made a surprise return to answer Heath Slater’s latest “challenge.”

(2) Scotty 2 Hotty beat Heath Slater. Scotty won with the Worm and the crowd reaction was immense.

(3) The Usos beat The Ascenion via DQ due to excessive double-teaming. The Ascenion absolutely dominated.

[Intermission. They announced two more tourney matches tonight, then it's Kane vs. Cody Rhodes in a bonus dark match. So, the tournament will conclude at the next taping, which will be in two weeks.]

(4) Jinder Mahal beat Richie Steamboat via submission in a Semi-Final NXT tournament match. Mahal won with the Camel Clutch to advance to the Finals. Another boring match dominated by Mahal.

(5) Seth Rollins beat Michael McGillicutty in a Semi-Final NXT tournament match. Rollins won with the Black-Out. Seth put on a clinic in each of his matches tonight. This was a really long match and the crowd bought into it. After the match, Rollins grabbed my “Rollins for Champ” sign and paraded around the ring with it.

Dusty Rhodes came out again off-air and announced they’ll be back in two weeks to tape more episodes. They definitely did not tape four episodes tonight.

Dark Match: Kane beat Cody Rhodes. Kane won quickly with a chokeslam.

After viewing:

- Still in love with Bray Wyatt. He wrestles differently from everyone else, it makes him unique, so it makes him fun to watch. Love the character, love the wrestler.

- Tyson Kidd is amazing in the ring. Everything he does looks crisp. Camacho was also good enough when he wasn't just throwing ten punches in a row. I agree with whoever said he should use the Tongan Death Grip as a finish. Much better than a cheap, unimpressive normal DDT.

- Not a fan of the Prime Time Players. Darren Young brings nothing to the table in terms of charisma, character or wrestling abilities. O'Neil is pretty bland. I'm getting a bit more used to the Usos now though, and they're growing on me.

Tamina/Kaitlyn match. Was pretty bored with this one. I don't think Tamina is too bad, but Kaitlyn still can't hold up in a singles match. She is much better than on NXT Season 3.

Big E Langston promo. Totally unimpressed.

Bored by the Jinder Mahal/Percy Watson match. I will say that Jinder Mahal plays his role well. I am bored by his role, but whatever.

Decent enough match between Steamboat/Kruger. I like that there is an actual feud going on. Steamboat seems to have a fair amount of charisma in the ring. Perhaps too much. Kind of spazzed out/played to the crowd after nearly every move he did.

Raquel Diaz did not impress me in the ring, but impressed me with her ability to play her character. A diva who has an actual character is a rare thing, so I enjoy seeing it.

First time I have heard Antonio Cesaro talk. Don't really have a desire to ever hear him talk again.

Slater/Gabriel. Ouch that bump by Gabriel. Are these fans chanting "We want coffee" and then later just "Coffee"? Now they are chanting "Where's the beef". Good match. Weird ending. Gabriel should be on TV more.

I think they were chanting "Frosty" because Slater looks like Wendy. Amazing match by the way. Probably match of the week.

Cesaro is your typical ROH vanilla midget who can't talk. Yawn.

Kruger is the good. Steamboat is not.

Really wish they wouldn't have toned down Percy Watson's act.

Decided to check out a couple of episodes of the new NXT. Wyatt is an absolute nutter and his mannerisms and behaviour in the ring are awesome.

Also, for someone who basically watches nothing outside of Raw and Smackdown, these NXT guys definitely have a different look and feel about them. Not the classic WWE appearance or characters. Definitely liking what I've seen so far.

Bo Dallas ruining this opening tag match with his presence.

Antonio Cesar wins a match. Ok. Still not overly impressed with him. He's ok.

Damn, Kassius Ono's voice sucks. Really killed his promo. Dunno. He looks like some dude who is trying to be "tough" so he grew a big beard and long hair. Talking about how he is tough and mean, but doesn't look or sound sincere. Really, Mike Knox was like ten times better at being a bearded toughguy. Maybe that is my issue with him. Keep comparing him with Mike Knox.

I thoroughly enjoyed the women's match. Sofia Cortez looking good. Natalya didn't do the job cleanly. Some sort of feud/story looks to be happening.

Ascension with slightly different music? I dunno. Maybe. Already getting tired of their "shtick" with no promos/segments to back up why they are supposedly mysterious. They deliver in the ring though. Bad finisher, but I like their teamwork/aggression. Would work better if Connor O'Brian was a bigger man. Also, no idea why Connor does the Maryse pin. Kinda gay.

Better promo for Big E Langston this week. Looks like Bobby Lashley and Shelton Benjamin had a baby.

Pretty good episode this week and like how NXT puts a good focus on tag team wrestling.

Main event was good and I think Rollins has been slipping some of AJ's crazy juice with that spaz out moment.

He should improve once he gets more promo time but he seems too laid back for that promo about him being tough. At least he didn't use his "Oh No" catch phrase since its pretty horrible.

Drew McIntyre is great in the ring. The man had a great match with Sin Cara on Superstars this week. The dude is just doing great stuff, and I hope that he finds a place on the main roster soon.

I like the way Antonio Cesaro carries himself like a gentleman outside the ring until he gets inside it. I always liked the idea of a wrestler who was a babyface outside the ring -- but when they get inside it they are vicious and uncontrollable. Cesaro is fairly close to that.

Probably because he's billed as a Rugby player. It's part of the sports gimmick. Finally a professional in professional wrestling.
