I've barely spoken about the Seahawks while I've been on here, but here is some proof of my genuine fandom (i.e. me being a fan pre 2013). http://www.tpwwforums.com/showthread.php?p=2000242&highlight=Seahawks#post2000242 = 3960 http://www.tpwwforums.com/showthread.php?p=2032514&highlight=Seahawks#post2032514 = 135 http://www.tpwwforums.com/showthread.php?p=3998075&highlight=Seahawks#post3998075 = 39 Been a Seahawks, Canucks, Blue Jays, and BC Lions fan (yes I watch CFL, lol) since 1987. I don't know SillyTrickyDamon, I've been reading your posts on here for a little while now, and it seems to me that you live a little *too* vicariously through your sporting hero's and your wrestling hero's.........at the expense of your own well being. Based on pictures of yourself that you've posted on here, I'm also guessing that you have a wide variety of health problems that include high cholesterol, Type II diabetes, and other typical illnesses related to having a high body fat percentage. You seem to spend a lot of time on here as well. I say this, because I have a feeling that you've lost perspective in life. While it's great that your idols like Tom Brady and Daniel Bryan are achieving great success in life (which clearly makes you happy), what are you doing for YOURSELF? Tom Brady goes home with millions of dollars to his mansion and pretty wife. After 'cheering' Brady, you turn off the TV and are faced with the same problems that have always faced you (i.e. obesity, having low income, wondering if you'll be able to make rent ok, etc.). #Perspective |

I haven't been following this thread too much, and so I actually don't know if you've been acting like a jackass in the manner that SlickyTrickyDamon has, but if you have...............then yes................the post would apply to you as well. Although to be honest, you don't come across as a 'greasy' and 'creepy' human being like STD does......although you do have a tendency t be annoying in debates. You do however, fit the criteria of being fat, and likely having high cholesterol and Type II diabetes. You used to post on the internet way too much........like STD does now..........but you seem to have scaled back and so you may actually have a bit of a life outside the forums now. |

Bills signed Richie Incognito to a 1 year, $2.5 million deal. Mostly to add some depth and fix last season's issues at the guard spot.
Only Tampa and Denver showed interest in signing him last season. |
LOLBills.
Why LOLBills? I doubt Rex has any trouble maintaining his locker room.
Rex Ryan is going to be good for Buffalo, I feel it in my bones.
He will be. Not just Rex but the new owner seem to be very interested in the Bills. Isn't the guy the owner of a successful NHL team too? Just don't let Rex pick or have anything to do with the quarterback position.
I see the Jets being terrible for the next 3 to 4 years easily. |
One thing that's being overlooked about the Buffalo Bills is that they are the Buffalo Bills.
I don't know if the word "successful" belongs anywhere near the Buffalo Sabres

The Eagles are catching flack for releasing a team calender with a picture of Riley Cooper for the month of February.
Think about it for a minute and then laugh at the absurdity. |
Haha that's amazing.
Strength of schedules were released for next season with the Steelers having the toughest and Falcons the easiest. Entire NFC West is in the Top 6 for toughest.

TT announces his retirement. Shame. He was outstanding before injuries got him.
Tim Tebow?!
Travis Tritt?
Peyton Manning tells the Broncos he wants to play next season and also leaning on it not being a farewell season. Still needs to pass the yearly physical though.
Broncos still have until March 9th to make an official decision in regards to salary cap stuff. |
who will sign ray rice
Is there a Baltimore Penal League?
He could go to New England after Blount walks out of a game.
<font color=goldenrod>Giants are planning on slapping the franchise tag on JPP, which is projected to be about $15 million. They were entering this offseason with around $30 million in cap space. Subtract out around $6 million set aside for draft picks and they're left with $9 million to try and re-sign a ton of guys and grab an extra lineman or two.
Reese is gonna have to get creative.</font> |

Just spoke positively about the Steelers. Need a shower now.
Fuck you, slick damo |
Quote:

No, they definitely treated him like shit by not playing him more over Le'Veon Bell.
Just like the Vikings treated guys like Chester Taylor and Toby Gerhart like shit by making them play second fiddle to Adrian Peterson. And it's not like Blount has a history of being a dipshit at the end/after football games or anything... |
If Blount had walked out in the middle of a game while playing for the Patriots, slick damo would be calling him the biggest piece of shit on earth.
Blount only plays with balls with a PSI of 11 or lower.

Cheating motherfuckers. Take that Superbowl trophy back! |
Wasn't the 'ball boy ' like 70 years old?
Cards and Larry Fitzgerald agree to a 2 year deal. Total amount wasn't revealed but around $22 million of it will be guaranteed.
Another likely sign the Rams are out of St Louis after this year is them canceling a bunch of fan-based events for the upcoming season. May have also played a role in the team's VP of marketing abruptly resigning last month in favor of a similar job with the Bucs.

Both the Chargers and Raiders are considering a Giants/Jets type plan if both move to LA in the near future. Plan could theoretically go into effect as early as 2016.
They'd be willing to share the same stadium as a way to make the move more appealing to LA investors and also agree on one of them moving to the NFC for scheduling reasons. New stadium would cost around $1.7 billion to build in Carson, California. Quote:

<font color=goldenrod>That looks fucking hideous.</font>
Switch one for the Seahawks. They made the AFC West a joke by removing them.
<font color=goldenrod>I have a hard time seeing Seattle getting moved out of the NFC with Seattle/SF being one of the most hyped rivalries in the league now but I guess you never know.
Feel like the Rams would be the team getting switched over for some reason.</font> |
Lions GM wants the NFL to consider the idea of expanding challenges to include penalties but only for those called on the field. Can't use replay to force a flag to be thrown under his idea.
Used the example of the flag pickup PI incident from the Lions-Cowboys controversy as an example. |
Obvious homer bias, but it's something that's always irritated me anyway. Something like defensive PI can potentially be the biggest play in a given game, even if we're just objectively talking from a raw yardage standpoint. To not be able to challenge a questionable call seems ludicrous to me.
I do agree with the "not using a replay to force a flag" part too. You can't throw a challenge because you thought there was holding or w/e... seems like that would cause way more problems than helps |
I like the idea of challenging questionable calls. V much in favor of getting calls correct.
I think they should take out automatic first downs for penalties.
PI is one of the shittiest penalties in the NFL, right up there with holding penalties.
Droford's realignment plan
LA Raiders to NFC West St Louis Rams to AFC South Houston Texans to AFC West Jacksonville Jaguars to NFC South New Orleans Saints to AFC South New Divisions West AFC Chargers Texans Broncos Chiefs NFC 49ers Raiders Seahawks Cardinals South AFC Rams Saints Titans Colts NFC Jaguars Buccaneers Falcons Panthers |
That would give the Jags a fighting chance for once.
Why yall want to change the divisions
NFC WEST was the worst division for like 6 straight years by far, been the best lately NFC South "a joke" last two years but was bomb ass before that Almost like...teams are constantly getting better and worse in the NFL |
If they share the stadium they might have to. Can't have two teams in the same division sharing the same stadium. Could be considered collusion otherwise.
Just swap the Raiders and Rams. They've both been horrible for a decade plus.
I think Raider Nation would probably riot on the street if you tried to move them from the AFC.
So all 20 of their fans?
and John Madden BOOM!
The Oakland Raiders have one of the largest national fan bases in the entire league, behind only the Steelers, the 9ers, the Packers, and the Cowboys.
How is that determined? Are you talking in history or in the present?
Probably jersey sales since Raiders jerseys usually sell well every year. Last season they were 9th in the league in sales.
Considering the Raiders used to play in LA...I wouldn't imagine it'd be a big deal

Might know the Chargers future within the next 3 months since the city sped up work on a new package plan to try to keep the team in San Diego.
The city originally wanted until September to work on a package while the Chargers refused since that would have given the Rams way too much time to get their own LA plan done. Also likely worried the Raiders would drop out of their sharing deal if the wait was too long. |
Would really prefer San Diego to keep the Chargers and the Rams and Raiders move to LA.
Nobody cares about those irrelevant teams.
Seriously lived in 4 states and 4 countries in the past 8 years. No where ever have I met a Raiders fan.

I actually own a Raiders Starter jacket. It was my Dads and after his wreck I took it. I haven't worn it since they were in the Superbowl last though.
Countless Raiders fans in every low income area I have ever been to. Most places, really. But I am located near the Bay Area, so that is kind of cheating.

Browns, for some unknown reason, have decided to tweak the colors of everything from their helmets for their uniforms.

I don't know why they don't put that dog on the helmets. Or any logo at all.
Would be funny to put the helmet logo on the helmet. Cleveland Browns Inception.
Supposedly Dez Bryant's career is rumored to be in serious jeopardy if a video gets leaked very soon. Cowboys have denied being aware such a video exists nor having seen it if it is indeed true.

<script async src="//platform.twitter.com/widgets.js" charset="utf-8"></script> Stadium to cost $2 billion and be finished by 2018. Baring any setbacks, project is being funded entirely by private money. |
It'd be funny if they could build that stadium for the Rams and then also build the Chargers/Raiders stadium and LA goes from 0 to 3 teams
Five times worse than Rice video? Damn.

Tax payer money is also a tactic to get fans to think they have more of an investment in the team. Stadiums that get funded by tax payer money should have some sort of discount program for the people in the city and state to keep price tickets down for them.
Or the billionaire owners can just pay for their toys with their own money.

This duude redesigned every teams helmet. Some of them are pretty cool. The Packers one w is my favorite. He didn't do much for the Browns though. |
Ravens cut Jacoby Jones
Aside from being a top 5 kick returner he was useless as he only had 9 catches playing in every game and they couldn't afford to pay him to just be a kick returner |
Dez got arrested years ago for hitting his biological mom during a fight. If that's what the video is... it's already known about. And he didn't deny it. Unless there's something WAY more to it like him holding a gun to her head or something then it doesn't make sense to punish him now for it.
Packers cut AJ Hawk.

Dave Dameshek is going to be devestated. |
If the NFL makes PI calls 15 yard penalty there won't be any reason to throw the ball deep anymore, defensive players can just mug a receiver after 15 yards to keep em from catching the ball.
I was actually kinda thinking something along those lines. Obviously no one is gonna shy away from throwing it deep now and obviously the defender is still gonna try to make a play and not just give up 15 yards every time... but if the defender is really out of position and knows he's fucked, the rule would basically reward them if they commit a penalty. I don't like it.
