Seeing the way the Seahawks played yesterday, it's not impossible for them to make it to the Super Bowl - hell if they play the Bears next week I'd actually be surprised if they didn't get past them.

Nark Order 01-09-2011 11:28 AM

If they play the Falcons though, it will probably be a one-sided relentless beating of astronomical proportions.

Evil Vito 01-09-2011 11:51 AM

Just like yesterday's game was meant to be.

Kris P Lettus 01-09-2011 12:24 PM

Still in shock over how bad Roman Harper got beat up yesterday..

Really missed Malcom Jenkins..

IC Champion 01-09-2011 12:42 PM

I got Atlanta and Baltimore in the Super Bowl.

The seahawks are a good story, but those niggas aint going to Dallasss

If they draw the Bears next week by way of the Packers winning then they can beat the Bears provided Jay Cutler is a turnover machine like hes capable of being.

Following that, if they Packers beat the Falcons, the NFC Championship game would be in Seattle.

So its possible the way I saw it.

What? Of course it's possible but just because the Seahawks beat the Saints doesn't mean I have to completely ignore the laws of probability from now on.

Droford 01-09-2011 12:47 PM

Im tired of all the pregame crap and theres still 15 minutes..ugh

RoXer 01-09-2011 01:09 PM

Eric Berry is so awesome

OssMan 01-09-2011 01:12 PM

Heap of shit

Skippord 01-09-2011 01:14 PM

go Baltimore Ravens

FearedSanctity 01-09-2011 01:30 PM

Nnamdi Asomugha's contract was voided by a clause in his contract the Raiders didn't know about. Unless he wants to resign, he'll be a FA

Evil Vito 01-09-2011 01:32 PM

How many times are the Chiefs going to let Rice get those 10 yard gains off of dump passes?

Johnny Vegas 01-09-2011 01:34 PM

This is almost the most dramatic season i've seen since watching the NFL.

-Greatest Run in playoff/NFL history lol
-Greatest Comeback in NFL season history
-Devin Hester dominates special teams
-Greatest MNF performance in NFL history
-Greatest Playoff upset in NFL history (from a stats standpoint)
-Witnessing the new wave of RBs (i want to say the '06 class?? 10 of them are 1,000 yards rushing for the season)
-Favre's last NFL season (hopefully)
-1st ranked offense & 1st ranked defense team doesn't make the playoffs (wtf)
-Vince Young finally leaves the "wont ever get anywhere b/c of the same coach, same scheme" Titans. Hope he stays in the AFC and destroys them.

-im sure im missing some stuff

Loose Cannon 01-09-2011 01:38 PM

wow, how fast a game can change. I just literally turned it on and they said KC had like 3 snaps so far

Johnny Vegas 01-09-2011 01:39 PM

Damn, Jamaal Charles is no joke lol. I've never seen him play really. No wonder ppl are on his jockstrap

MTH15 01-09-2011 01:42 PM

Matt Ryan going bannanners all the time.....truthfully. Im just glad we dont have to see the saints again. As long as vick comes thru for me one more time I aint got to stress all week.....because I can imagine the seahawk tryna pull an upset......but cmon we thrashed them at home just like 2 weeks ago

Innovator 01-09-2011 01:42 PM

Thats a fast dude

IC Champion 01-09-2011 01:45 PM

Shouldn't have picked against KC, didn't really want to, really like there defence and running game, just thought Ravens would take care of business, forgot that Joe Flacco was their qb.

Droford 01-09-2011 01:46 PM

Cassel still hasnt completed a pass. Im convinced if the Ravens can get a lead and force him to throw he'll throw picks to Ed Reed.

Johnny Vegas 01-09-2011 01:52 PM

Damn, and he was running real good so far

Kris P Lettus 01-09-2011 01:55 PM

Chiefs are looking good..

Droford 01-09-2011 02:26 PM

Flacco is looking good despite that fumble...even running pretty good.

SlickyTrickyDamon 01-09-2011 02:39 PM

Wow what a moron.

Droford 01-09-2011 02:46 PM

Excellent stop on 4th down..though that was a really questionable play call by the chiefs.

Droford 01-09-2011 03:00 PM

Cassel is choking it away now lol

parkmania 01-09-2011 03:04 PM

Seems like the Ravens may have been sandbagging in the first half - they're destroying the Chiefs currently.

Could next week be Round 3 in both AFC games?

Droford 01-09-2011 03:10 PM

Cassel is folding like a cheap tent.

Just like I was expecting.

Evil Vito 01-09-2011 03:13 PM

Yeah this game sucks. Time for a quick Black Ops session before the Packers/Eagles game.

parkmania 01-09-2011 03:14 PM

I haven't seen a QB look more like he was playing for the other team in the playoffs since Neil O'Donnell in Super Bowl XXX.

Droford 01-09-2011 03:19 PM

Bahahah

4 turnovers in the 3rd quarter alone

maybe not

SlickyTrickyDamon 01-09-2011 03:20 PM

New England Chiefs get saved because of the Tuck Rule?

Nah. I've got Baltimore at Pittsburgh being a good, competitive game.

parkmania 01-09-2011 03:28 PM

That's what I meant, Vox. Both Jets/Pats and Ravens/Steelers have happened twice this year already since they are in the same divisions.

Vox Populi 01-09-2011 03:32 PM

ahhh yes, my bad. I'd misinterpreted that as "two blowouts".

This got pretty ugly with a quickness. I think I'll go whip up a batch of my award winning chili before the next game starts.

D Mac 01-09-2011 03:34 PM

It's not over yet!

Yeah and both of them were split 1-1. Though the Ravens lost at home and won in Pittsburg. That game was during the Big Ben suspension though, so it might have been a fluke. The Pats and Jets both split the games winning each of their home game.

D Mac 01-09-2011 03:38 PM

Dammit.

Oh well. Good season KC. Next year...

Emperor Smeat 01-09-2011 03:42 PM

Turnovers and Ravens defense preventing Cheifs from being comfortable with their run game is hurting the Cheifs badly.

Droford 01-09-2011 03:44 PM

I called 27-10 via my dream and its 30-7, hit the total points exactly at least lol

It it wasn't for New England you wouldn't have:

1. Quarterback.
2. Top Offensive Linebacker.
3. Defensive Coordinator.
4. Offensive Coordinator.
5. Vice President of Operations.
6.=AFC West Title.

D Mac 01-09-2011 04:03 PM

Still hate em

SlickyTrickyDamon 01-09-2011 04:04 PM

Then you hate your team because it's basically the New England Chiefs.

glanville6 01-09-2011 04:05 PM

Id be disappointing to, D MAC, but it is great you guys made it back to the playoffs, and good luck next year.

GO BEARS! Beat whatever bird you play next week.

So it's legal to shove a member of the receiving team into the ball so that the kicking team can recover a live ball? Didn't realize that.

I'm D Mac. So that grants me automatic membership because I'm the man.

SlickyTrickyDamon 01-09-2011 04:46 PM

No, it's a dumb play by that Packers player. He had no business being anywhere near the ball with four Eagles surrounding it. He was just asking for trouble being there.

He instigated the contact. So, he shoved himself into the ball by trying to block the Eagles player for some unknown reason.

He wasn't going to accomplish anything if he had gotten to the ball he would have been tackled for no gain. He was just there to be an asshole and he paid for it.

SlickyTrickyDamon 01-09-2011 05:10 PM

Of course DeSean Jackson got hurt and left the game. He's always doing that and he's on my Yahoo Post-season fantasy football team!

Vox Populi 01-09-2011 05:18 PM

Seems that several of my friends have "like"d Troy Aikman on Facebook over the past half hour or so. Somehow, Joe Buck has not been greeted with similar love.

I'll say this: there's a world of difference between Buck calling football and Buck calling baseball, especially alongside the utterly worthless Tim McCarver.

McLegend 01-09-2011 07:03 PM

SammyG 01-09-2011 07:11 PM

uh this game is far from over.

SlickyTrickyDamon 01-09-2011 07:21 PM

Fail Celek.

Droford 01-09-2011 07:23 PM

Had the packers winning 19-12 and its 21-16.

pretty close again

SlickyTrickyDamon 01-09-2011 07:27 PM

12 is a strange score to have. Thought Vick wouldn't get a touchdown in the game?

Droford 01-09-2011 07:30 PM

I dunno..I just saw the scores. I guess they could have been down 21-6 late, scored a TD but missed the 2pt conversion...just sorta like they did lol.

SammyG 01-09-2011 07:32 PM

Game still over, McLegend? Have some faith, jesus. 2 minutes left, Vick has a chance to win the game. Love this game.

Evil Vito 01-09-2011 07:42 PM

ahahahahaha. fuck you Eagles!

glanville6 01-09-2011 07:42 PM

Bring on the Seahawks! They won't beat the Bears twice in Chicago

Droford 01-09-2011 07:44 PM

both 6 seeds advance..

SlickyTrickyDamon 01-09-2011 07:44 PM

Except for the Falcons and the Seahawks the Patriots have defeated every alive team in the playoffs THIS season.

McLegend 01-09-2011 07:45 PM

Damn I saw that coming.

Stupid David Akers.

SammyG 01-09-2011 07:46 PM

lol David Akers indeed.

SlickyTrickyDamon 01-09-2011 07:51 PM

Two missed field goals, but without the 2nd miss they wouldn't have had the field positioning they had to score that touchdown.

The first field goal was with the wind in his face. So, to blame this fully on him wouldn't make much sense.

Team Sheep 01-09-2011 07:52 PM

Eagles shit the bed in the playoffs once again.

Seahawks were the only home team to win this weekend lol.

ClockShot 01-10-2011 03:44 PM

So Elway is gonna talk to Rick Dennison and Dirk Koettler tomorrow, John Fox is in wednesday, and Saints DC Gregg Williams will be in wednesday as well for the head coaching spot.

Hmph. Dennison has been with Denver in the past, but he's got an offensive mind. Same goes with Koettler. Not a big fan of John Fox. Gregg Williams might work, we need a guy who knows defense to fix this mess we're in.

Meanwhile, Carolina has hired Ron Rivera to be head coach. Bummer.

Crimson 01-10-2011 07:58 PM

John Fox would be a good hire IMO, better than Williams.
