A Bruno dvd set is long fucking overdue.

this is the man that helped build the WWE into what it is today for 20 years.

I'd love to see what older rare footage they have in their archives for Bruno's documentary.

Could have swore there was already a Bruno documentary.

Lol didn't catch that yesterday! Would be awesome if that was totally genuine and unscripted, Ambrose just pranking around whilst playing up to his character.

Fignuts 04-27-2015 07:11 PM

Someone tell Zelda to start tearing down those posters.

#1-norm-fan 04-27-2015 07:12 PM

lol Fucking love Ambrose. He seems like the anti-CM Punk in that he seems to just enjoy himself regardless of the direction of his character or anything. He seems like a guy who just has fun being on the rasslin'.

Posting what may be Regal's very first televised match only because of his ridiculous hair.

Man, Regal is lean here. Also, the trunks he is wearing remind me of the black and red ones he switched to around 2002 when he stopped wearing the burgundy. I always wondered why there was a change, but maybe it was a bit of a harken back?

Mr. Nerfect 04-28-2015 06:24 AM

With RAW being in Montreal next week, I would completely mark for Kevin Owens accepting John Cena's open challenge for the US Title.

Nicky Fives 04-28-2015 07:34 AM

More likely they go with Zayn over Owens, no?

Ashura Hara, former All Japan star passes away

http://www.puroresucentral.com/Images/haramain.jpg

Ashura Hara, an 80s and 90s star best known for his tag team with Genichiro Tenryu, one of the best teams in wrestling of their era, passed away today.

The cause of death is unknown at this time.

He was 68. In the late 80s, Hara & Tenryu were regular rivals of teams like The Funk Brothers, Bruiser Brody & Jimmy Snuka, Stan Hansen & Terry Gordy and Jumbo Tsuruta & Yoshiaki Yatsu. Hara's departure from All Japan actually led to the first push of Toshiaki Kawada.

does he talk about killin' that dude

Rammsteinmad 04-28-2015 12:43 PM

Probably the first thing that comes to everyone's mind.

Seth82 04-28-2015 12:47 PM

This was likely filmed before that ever happened.

He also did an RF Video shoot years back during the period after WCW closed and before he jumped to WWE.

Volare 04-28-2015 02:34 PM

Threw it in here cause I thought it looked good.

Bad News Gertner 04-28-2015 06:24 PM

I watched Sabu's Breaking Kayfabe DVD. It's really good.

Also watched the Back to the Territories: Mid-Atlantic with J.J Dillon.

It was good, but I wish they wouldn't have interupted the interview with video clips. Should have kept them to the end. Kind of ruined the flow of the interview.

Volare 04-28-2015 07:03 PM

This will not be happening this year...

SPOILER: show

I felt the same way about the JJ Dillon back to the territories shoot.

It is kind of cool though that Corny has and owns footage from NWA that WWE doesn't own.

Maluco 04-28-2015 07:53 PM

Just watching Hogans "unreleased collectors series" before king of the ring starts.

Him going over Kamala, MDM/Virgil, One Man Gang etc...

Ends with him losing to HHH on Smackdown

As reported last night, WWE provided a health update on Daniel Bryan during RAW. Now, we have some more information.

It was reported over the weekend that Bryan was pulled from his scheduled match at Extreme Rules, as well as the advertising for Monday’s post-pay-per-view edition of RAW and Tuesday’s SmackDown television tapings, however he remained listed for this weekend’s WWE non-televised live events.

We can now officially confirm that Bryan has been pulled from any and all advertising for all of WWE’s live events and pay-per-views.

While we don’t have a lot of specific information regarding Bryan’s condition, the fact that he is being pulled from so many dates is not an encouraging sign.

Dave Meltzer of The Wrestling Observer Newsletter notes that the plan is for Paul Heyman to be off WWE TV until July, likely when Brock Lesnar will also return.

There have been no negative reports coming out of WWE developmental on Jason "Tensai" Albert since he was made head trainer of NXT back in March following Bill DeMott's departure, according to F4Wonline.com

It looks like Eric Bischoff will be working with Jeff Jarrett's Global Force Wrestling promotion. Preston City Wrestling held a Q&A with Bischoff and Jarrett this past weekend and one of the questions was asked by Karen Jarrett - if Bischoff would be working for GFW at any point. Both Jarrett and Bischoff both said yes to the question and said they were in the early stages of planning but Bischoff will be working for GFW in some fashion.

ESPN will debut their new documentary on WWE's talent creation and the NXT brand, "WWE: Behind-The-Curtain" on Tuesday 5/5 at 8 PM EST. Promotional material for the documentary released by the cable network to PWInsider reads: E:60 Pictures presents WWE: Behind-The-Curtain, a new one-hour documentary film featuring unprecedented behind-the-scenes access to Vince McMahon's billion-dollar global empire. The show will follow three amateur wrestlers on their grueling, high-stakes climb with dreams of making it to the big show, complemented by candid interviews with WWE President Vince McMahon, his Executive Vice President of Talent Development, Paul Levesque (or 'Triple H') as well as former WWE talents Stone Cold Steve Austin, The Rock – Dwayne Johnson, and Hulk Hogan. The result is an inside look into what is perhaps the greatest spectacle in sports entertainment – with its extravagant productions, flagrant drama, and sold-out arenas.
Quote:

Alongside WWE legend and fellow Hollywood asset, The Rock, she first tossed top star Paul "Triple H" Levesque and later his wife Stephanie McMahon to the apron with Judo-style hip throws.

But, according to Dana White, that's the most physical Rousey will get in WWE. The UFC president was asked in an interview with The Fight Network if his women's champion would be allowed to actually work a wrestling match:

"What she did on Wrestlemania was awesome. It was awesome, it came off great and I loved it. Uhm... she's a one and done."

The reporter then followed up and asked whether or not Rousey would be allowed to compete in a future WWE match, and the UFC president responded by saying, "No."
Quote:

TNA President Dixie Carter announced via Twitter that Jeff Hardy suffered a broken leg in a dirt-bike accident today. Hardy is currently one half of the promotion's Tag Team champions with his brother Matt.

For those who have asked, we are told this is not a storyline work and pretty much throws TNA's plans for their next set of TV tapings (which were designed to build to the Slammiversary PPV) out the window as creative will have to be reconfigured.

Some other sheet news includes:
  • Last night's RAW episode ended up dropping in both ratings and viewers compared to last week. 10pm decrease was small but another case of the 8pm and 9pm being low to start with.
  • Recent article from Vice.com dealt with NXT, specifically the Women's division and how much appreciation NXT wrestlers and Triple H have for Sara Del Rey's training work. http://www.vice.com/en_uk/read/sara-...irls-can-do235
