I finally beat campaign mode couple days ago.

Play Dragon Age. I didn't play MW2 for 2 weeks while I was playing Dragon Age. And with Mass Effect 2 coming out, so little time.

Mass Effect 2 is going to consume me, so I will probably stop playing MW2 for a bit when it is released.

Sounds like somebody doesn't know how to aim at all. Try shooting at the feet, you handicapped little man. If you can't take out someone with a riot shield, just stop playing the game, because you aren't going to succeed at anything else.

I suck. The longest killstreak i've had is 8. I try to camp at times but I find it boring..or I just don't know how to do it properly.

Riot shields are so easy to deal with that if they bother you THAT much you just need to quit.

Want to fuck with someone using a riot shield? Smoke + Claymore :) I usually then just run away and let them find it :)

But most competent riot shield users will be using blast shield. However, that does make sense. I like it. :P

Your forgetting that 99% of people who play this game are complete fucking idiots. Nothing pisses me off more then a teammate standing in a doorway when you are running to ambush someone when they come after you, not only has your teammate got you killed but himself as well. One other thing, if you get killed by air support if you dont switch to something to help bring it down and get killed again your a fucking idea. Oh VM want to be a real Fucker? place two claymores at the top of the stairs of the house on estate, use scavenger and when you know someone is in the house toss a smoke into the bathroom. Reset whenever someone runs over one by picking up the scavenger bag and popping smoke again.

Oh been meaning to comment on something you said earlier VM. Sniping effectively takes more skill and practice then arguably any other type of play in this game. You have to keep players at bay so you can pick them off, long range is of course easy to deal with (barring crack shots with an assault rifle) and short range with a shotgun, the biggest problem is people closing in from midrange which means you are screwed if you cant hipfire your rifle as you dont have time to switch to a shotgun before you get mowed down also quick scoping takes an insane amount of practice. Hitting people while they are running at a long distance is very difficult but perhaps the most difficult and most nerve racking is when yo and an enemy sniper see each other at the same time, you have to be first to get your crosshairs on him or your head just met a bullet. I am happy to say I can do everything I listed rather effectively. Also forgot to mention effective placement of claymores and use of smoke (if you use anything else as a sniper, I dont understand you) If you can put up a good streak without getting killed your pretty lucky or pretty skilled. There have been times I got rushed by 3 people and managed to live (popped a smoke, had one walk over my claymore, fired my shotgun and got another and hit the floor and got the last as the smoke cleared and I could see him, takes skill, patience and nerves of steel sometimes :p Not downplaying other classes but I prefer precision to spraying bullets :p

When I die a few times in a row I will swear at my luck other then that im pretty laid back when playing. As for taking it seriously, I like discussing strategy and good matches I have had in a thread about said game, if you dont like people talking about it why do you come in a thread for it.

It's cool for you to shit on aspects or guns of the game that other players might use, but you get your panties in an uproar if someone comments on your elite setups. Haha figures.

Just stop. I play the riot shield because it's fun. I never once claimed that I was really good with it. I just prey on stupid people who don't know how to handle it. You're clearly one of those people, and you became upset because of it.

Your right lets just quit this silliness. I'm a stupid little man due to being battered in the head by riot shields constantly, and your just too thick too realize when someone is just joshing about with you.

So the new patch is coming out, and it addresses one of my main problems with this game. The douches who run around all Usain Bolt like knifing everyone down. I won't lie I yelped out a joyous cry when I heard about this, those people are 2nd to only the boosters on my annoyance chart for this game. Will finally be able to try out some sabotage now.

I feel riot shield is good if you have a team mate behind you that can pick off opponents.

I am a pretty awesome distraction when I have the riot shield in domination games. It is pretty fun to turtle-shell into a room and distract people about a second or two before your team comes rushing in to destroy everyone in the room. The shield is great for delaying people from capping points. Because sure.. you can't kill multiple people in a room very easy, but when only one sees you and the other is oblivious, you can usually get away with huddling in a corner while this guy stares at you wondering how to kill you... and then 5 seconds later, your team spawns and can take the point.

Had a pretty awesome moment yesterday.. we were playing HQ on sub base, and in the upstairs room with all the windows and an 'island' in the middle, one of my buddies played dead body inside the HQ underneath the table in the corner of the room beside the window... Everyone was cracking up watching him in 3rd person because behind him was a GROUP of people running around searching for him inside the room. They just couldn't figure it out.. He must have sat there for a good 20 seconds until someone finally saw him and started shooting. At one point, some guy stood literally ON his feet and just sat there looking around. Pretty rofl moment.
