I haven't been a regular RAW viewer lately, returned for MITB and crowds, no point in it honestly.

Honestly? RAW is background noise for me while I'm on the computer. I only really pay attention any during PPVs.

i seriously only tuned in tonight! partially! but i have to say, i couldn't really find it in me to pick anything apart over the hurt business angle. lashley looked great, and everyone looked great making sure he did

I don’t watch. I’ll find a clip of big moments or cool matches (Wrestlemania or Rumble mostly, used to be some NXT) a few times a year maybe. I just can’t wrap my head around why people watch it. It’s atrocious.

SD has some stuff that is fun/good but RAW is a boring, poorly put together tv program, with childish storylines and promos and despite having talented wrestlers feels lifeless yet overproduced at the same time. It seems like it continues it's streak of being something you don't need to watch either, as it's constant rematches of things that will eventually happen at the PPV a few weeks ahead.

Creative didn't have anything for John Cena this week on tv, so instead of appearing he teamed up with Riddle to face T-Bar and Mace in the dark match after RAW

Good for the live crowd and a great way to use Cena without actually spoiling him on television. Shows they’ve got a lot of stock in Riddle, Mace and T-Bar, which you would think would have resulted in more thought put into the naming process of them.

The show itself sounds absolutely awful. About the only thing that achieved anything would have been the Lashley squash. MAYBE Priest beating Sheamus and Ali/Mansoor winning, but it’s hardly compelling.

Bad enough they broke up the Hurt Business, but they also have to rub it in our face with shit like this. Still waiting to know how that split helped anyone at all.

Also it's August and we're still on Charlotte and ripley. What in the actual monkey fuck?

I see the meta as to why they broke up The Hurt Business. I don’t think they had to do it, and I probably would have kept them together, but it’s not the most offensive thing about that show.

I don’t know if I can get behind the “Raw is a kids show” talk. Kids are pretty easy to please yes, so I can see why wrestling will always have that “magic” to them early on. Inevitably most of them will grow out of it in their teens but you will end up with some lifers.

But a show running 8-11 PM on a week night doesn’t strike me as a show specifically trying to be a kids show.

Sounds more like an excuse being made for a a show that is poorly written, poorly acted, simplistic, and formulaic.

Seems like skipping this was a good idea?

I mean, South Park is on at 2PM, but it isn't a kids show.




it is quite easy to see that RAW is marketed toward a much younger audience than ever before. Right now, it seems like it is in the phase of cartoons that throws a few low-key adult jokes in there, while largely staying focused on children.

It just seems like a show written with a child’s mentality regardless of who it’s geared toward.
