Wow that half-court travel by LeBron on the fast break. It wasn't even close. The ref should be fired and investigated.

Spurs 39 point beat down and series ending game against the Rockets managed to set an NBA record defense wise.

The King of Akron Lebron James will reign again as the champion of the world

First ever NBA game

Droford 05-12-2017 07:42 PM

Crazy to See the banners for the bullets where they were Eastern Conference champs 4 times in the 70s and nothing since

Ruien 05-12-2017 08:06 PM

They don't do conference banners anymore for basketball right? Little trickier to get a banner if it's only the number 1 seed or finals appearance.

Droford 05-12-2017 09:27 PM

The Wizards hadn't won a division championship since 1979

Droford 05-12-2017 09:28 PM

Sami Zaynd theme playing before the start of 3rd..They tipped off The game to KOs theme too..I thought that was cool. Sloppy game first half

Droford 05-12-2017 10:34 PM

Crazy game however it ends

Spurs taking the Warriors out behind the woodshed on the road..interesting

Emperor Smeat 05-14-2017 05:36 PM

They just lost Kawhi Leonard again with an injury though.

Ruien 05-14-2017 05:42 PM

If they can manage to hold onto this game they should be fine. Game 2 can be a throw away game to get him healthy.

Ruien 05-14-2017 06:02 PM

Come on Spurs. Almost there.

Clerk 05-15-2017 03:26 AM

Wizards n celtics need to hurry tf up. NONE OF YOU HAVE A CHANCE!!!!!!! And Spurs suck so do warriors . The King of Akron will once again prove why he is the best player in the world and ever

Droford 05-15-2017 09:56 AM

Lol I just saw the Spurs ended up losing. Good job. Hope they enjoy getting swept

Emperor Smeat 05-15-2017 10:45 PM

:D Cs advance to the East Finals.

Cs-Wiz was probably the best series for this year's NBA Playoffs so far.

SlickyTrickyDamon 05-15-2017 11:40 PM

ECF on Wenesday and the Draft Lottery tomorrow. Thanks Nets. Is Paul Pierce going to be the Celtics rep tomorrow?

SlickyTrickyDamon 05-15-2017 11:41 PM

Wizards talked a lot of shit over the season about the C's. They must have known it would come down to them. They now can go to the Kelly Olyenik three point burn Clinic for treatment.

Ruien 05-16-2017 10:30 PM

Damn. Celtics have a real shot at becoming a legit powerhouse. Wonder what direction they will go in.

Kind of baffled superstars are not trying to join Boston over the past 2 years.

Been like that for decades even when they were great. Some of it due to the city's bad reputation with African American players and some due to the location not being as great like LA or Miami or New York when they are actually good.

Think historically its been Lakers getting big stars usually from free agency while Cs got theirs usually from drafts and trades.

SlickyTrickyDamon 05-16-2017 11:55 PM

Thank you Nets! Love your arena and local beer.

There's also a legacy of excellence playing as a Celtic. Nothing is stronger in the history of the NBA than Celtic Pride. Some players can't handle it.

Clerk 05-17-2017 05:13 AM

celtics really tried that hard just to get swept smh. If celtics are smart draft lonzo ball and trade isiah thomas .

Don't think I ever heard of expected excellence from Boston. No idea what you are talking about.

Ah, ya I can see the rep making it not so friendly. Hoping they do get a superstar this year especially with players wanting to find rings now a day. Paul George could easily be there final piece.

Emperor Smeat 05-17-2017 05:00 PM

The Cs did try to get George prior to the deadline but Pacers were asking for way too much. Around 3-4 quality players and next year's 1st Rd pick. Lakers are more likely getting him based on recent rumors.

Think since losing out on George and Jimmy Butler, most of the speculation has been on Jazz's Gordon Hayward likely being the big signing by the Cs this offseason.

Ruien 05-17-2017 07:07 PM

Is Butler still off the table? Feel like my Bulls will go into rebuilding mode.

Emperor Smeat 05-17-2017 08:31 PM

Need to look up his contract status but think at this point, Cs probably rather wait till he's a free agent than make a deal with Chicago who is likely going to ask for a lot or even more.

Then again if the wait is too long, could end up like Boogie Cousins where the Cs ended up losing almost all interest after a while. Had the chance to grab him when the Kings were actually willing to dump him but didn't like what the Kings demanded I think. Probably would have accepted if the deal happened a year or two earlier.

Ruien 05-17-2017 09:03 PM

I think they need to be in the now mind set. They don't need a guard imo since they have Thomas. Trade your #1 pick for George or Butler. If either team wants more than that for their mid card superstar they can eat rocks. I guess Cs could give up like Smart I guess too.

If they really want this #1 pick then trade next year's pick that comes from the Nets. Grab your final superstar and try to win in the next 3 or 4 years.

Ruien 05-17-2017 11:12 PM

Really, I don't think any team will be able to compete with the Cavs unless they have a star at the small forward position. Someone needs to be able to matchup with LeBron. Of course they won't be better than LeBron but if he goes against some scrub it's already game over.

Ruien 05-18-2017 07:59 PM

That does not mean expected excellence. Literally, never heard anyone from any sport show say there is expected excellence for the Celtics. You are mildly retarded though so whatever.

Clerk 05-19-2017 06:46 PM

Celtics won most of their titles against 0 competition. The King of Akron would destroy any Celtics team..... EVER

Emperor Smeat 05-19-2017 08:14 PM

2008 Cs beat Lebron on the way to the title. Had the 2010 Cs won the title, same would have been said and the added bonus of being a big reason why Lebron bolted to Miami to form a super team.

SlickyTrickyDamon 05-19-2017 08:34 PM

Lowe's pivot foot moved call something.
