Supposedly this week's episode of RAW on Hulu Plus cut out a lot of great stuff to the point of almost all the actual wrestling stuff was removed besides the Ryback match and the AJ-Beth match.

Quote:

The following was cut from the Hulu version of WWE Monday Night Raw…

Randy Orton vs. Wade Barrett
Alberto Del Rio vs. Justin Gabriel
Kofi Kingston vs. Antonio Cesaro
Darren Young and Titus O'Neil vs. Kane and Daniel Bryan
Sitdown interview with 3MB
Heath Slater and Jinder Mahal vs. Santino Marella and Zack Ryder

Had a thought: what if Little Jimmy were real, like that show Space Cases with Catalina and Suzee?

Something happens where R-Truth gets off-camera injured, and some new guy comes in calling himself Jimmy and talks to an imaginary "Little Killings". I don't mean "it's R-Truth in a mask" either, or the Blue Blazer angle...just a totally different guy who claims he's talking to Truth: a short white guy with a sideways ballcap. And he has a cartoon picture of Truth on HIS T-Shirt. Then R-Truth comes back, and this guy "disappears" again. Whenever Truth is there in the arena, this guy isn't, and vice-versa.

And THEY become the tag team champions.

Yes, I know this was stupid. Carry on.

AH-HA!

After an oddly difficult google search to find someone's identity, I have struck gold...

https://twitter.com/m_aspi

Michael Aspinwall

His IMDB page is oddly bare though.

#1-norm-fan 11-01-2012 02:27 AM

This is his website...

http://www.michaelaspinwall.com/Gallery.html

It looks a LITTLE like him. The pictures are probably old. I don't know. Maybe it looks more like him than my suspicious mind will let me believe. He's a groundling though which would make perfect sense.

#1-norm-fan 11-01-2012 02:28 AM

What am I saying. Of course it's him. Unless he realized he looks like Dr. Shelby and decided to play a joke by pretending it's him on twitter. That's too far-fetched. I don't buy it.

Michael Aspinwall it is.

#1-norm-fan 11-01-2012 02:30 AM

... The lack of information on him is odd though. As is the fact that there's seemingly no mention anywhere online of him being on an episode of Everybody Loves Raymond or anything any of us would have seen for that matter.

Definitely. I have his book and it is one of the best wrestling autobiographies out there. To date, I have read Foley's first book, Rock, Flair, HBK and Regal's. He can STILL outshine anyone in the ring today, period.

It would be cool if Team Hell No dissolved (down the line) and Brian was able to get into a short program with Regal. I believe those two could put on one helluva program.

Cool King 11-01-2012 09:14 AM

Even those Ryback lost at WWE Hell in a Cell, WWE plans to push him as the new main event babyface monster in the future.

The original plan for Hell in a Cell was to have Ryback pin CM Punk clean and win the WWE title. He would hold the belt through Survivor Series and lose in a multi-man gimmick match at TLC where he wouldn't have to be pinned or submitted. Vince McMahon settled on this plan on October 25, just three days before the PPV.

Then the next day, he decided to keep the belt on CM Punk because Punk's long title reign was more important than Ryback's undefeated streak, which isn't necessary to play him up as a monster. WWE has spent so much time focusing on Punk's title reign that felt it would be better to keep the belt on him until the Royal Rumble so his match with The Rock will have higher stakes.

Once the decision was made to keep the belt on Punk, WWE then tried to come up with ways for Ryback to lose without looking weak. WWE considered several options before going with crooked referee Brad Maddox, including run-ins from Brock Lesnar, Big Show, Mark Henry and even Vince McMahon himself.

Sources: WrestlingObserver & Rajah.

#1-norm-fan 11-01-2012 02:58 PM

It was a perfect decision. As much as I love Ryback, ending Punk's reign just to have him win it back and start at 0 a month later would have taken a shitload away from his character and would have put a big damper on the Rock match.

And I'm glad they went with the crooked ref because Ryback getting pinned for a legit 1-2-3, even by interference, would have really fucked up his character too. This way, there's still the thought that Ryback is incapable of being pinned and there's still the question of "How much would you need to hurt this man to actually accomplish that?"

Emperor Smeat 11-01-2012 03:12 PM

Yeah although a Mark Henry or Lesnar run-in would have really great as well especially since it would help Ryback's image if he could go toe-to-toe or even possibly lift one of them for the Shell Shock during a potential match.

A Big Show run-in would have been odd and same for Vince.

CRANKY VINCE NEWS!

So first this...

Quote:

The ‘CrankyVince’ Twitter Account Identity Revealed?

An account on Twitter spoofing Vince McMahon that also leaks confidential WWE information on occasion (located @CrankyVince) cryptically suggested in a message Thursday that a male wrestler has asked for his release from the sports-entertainment organization.

“GODDAMN. ANOTHER PUSSY BOY WANTS HIS RELEASE. THESE UNGRATEFUL FUCKS. I’LL RUIN THEM. ALL OF THEM. FUCK YOU,” the message states.

Back in June, the “Cranky Vince” account cryptically remarked that Alberto Del Rio had threatened to quit the sports-entertainment organization, with the story being confirmed as legitimate days later by sources. More recently, on October 15, the account tweeted on an idea broached by WWE’s creative team days earlier for Vince McMahon to face CM Punk at Hell in a Cell.

“A GUY LIKE ME COULD BE IN A HELL IN A CELL. WHY NOT ME?” the account stated. “SURE! WHY NOT DO HELL IN A CELL? ENOUGH GAGA IN A CAGE WITH PUNK TO GET A MATCH OUT OF ME. ALL THE OTHER OPTIONS CAN CRAWL UP MY ASS & DIE.”

A WWE source confirmed the idea as legitimate two days later, but noted that “it was killed within 30 minutes.”

The account has drawn alarming concern from WWE officials since last year, who believe it is being administered by an employee within proximity of McMahon or a former employee with close ties to organization due to the amount of sensitive information being released. It was coincidentally shut down on the day it was revealed that Del Rio had threatened to quit WWE, but reinstated after it was labeled as a parody account and having no affiliation to the sports-entertainment organization.

It would appear that the account is being administered by Andrew Goldstein, a former creative writer who extensively worked alongside McMahon in 2006 and 2007 (he has recounted the WWE chief’s numerous quirks and unwritten rules in interviews over the past two years, such as don’t sneeze or yawn in front of him, and to pour peanuts from the peanut jar rather that place your hands inside of it). After news broke on the night of October 8 that Brian Gewirtz had been removed as the head writer of RAW, a barrage of messages touting the decision were posted on the “Cranky Vince” account. While this was going on, Goldstein posted a “Cranky Vince” style message on his Twitter account (located @AngeGold) while commenting on RAW events reading, “I HAVEN’T HAD THIS MUCH FUN FIRING A JEWISH WRITER SINCE THE FIRST 6 TIMES I FIRED @HEYMANHUSTLE. KOSHER WOOD.” The message was immediately deleted, and was not posted on the “Cranky Vince” account.

Here is a link to Twitter user catching the mishap and questioning whether the identity of “Cranky Vince” had been revealed. Furthermore, Goldstein plugged the parody account two times that night.
and then this...

Quote:

Former WWE Writer Says He's Not 'Cranky Vince'

We had reported earlier this afternoon that it appeared that former WWE creative writer Andrew Goldstein was running the "Cranky Vince" Twitter account. We noted that when news broke earlier last month that Brian Gewirtz had been removed as head writer of RAW, Goldstein posted a "Cranky Vince"-ish message on his Twitter account, stating, "I HAVEN'T HAD THIS MUCH FUN FIRING A JEWISH WRITER SINCE THE FIRST 6 TIMES I FIRED @HEYMANHUSTLE. KOSHER WOOD." Goldstein immediately deleted the message, and the message was not posted on the "Cranky Vince" account.

Goldstein sent me an email about the report earlier today, stating that he was not "Cranky Vince." He also posted the following on his Twitter about the report: "The good people at @WrestlingInc should check their sources before running with a news story. Sad to say I am not @CrankyVince... Sad to say I am neither funny enough or well connected enough to be @CrankyVince. Tweet in question was work to gain followers... It worked, gained over 100 followers just by tweeting in all caps and quickly deleting... Secondly, I havent had power, wifi, water, or cell service since Monday so the recent tweets in question couldn't have been me"

I would like to apologize to Andrew, and we have edited the original article.
lol. Posted a Cranky Vince-like tweet and then deleted it "just to gain followers" and "hasn't had power, wifi, water or cell service since Monday." thus he couldn't have tweeted.

I don't buy it.

As long as it ended with a fast count and Ryback getting up afterwards as if he probably would have kicked out from a legit 3 count. A run in on top of the ref swerve might have been too much going on though.

I didn't say it did. Two separate issues. The deleted tweet is one fishy thing. The thing about not having power, water, phone or internet access is another.

I don't see them doing this much Survivor Series Elimination matches. In fact since it's the main event I don't see them any other one than Punk and Foley's.

Great card though.

It probably will be one-on-one, but they could always do Cena vs. Ziggler at TLC. And put Ziggler over, since a loss would not hurt Cena, and a win would greatly help Ziggler. Have Dolph then make his goal to enter the Royal Rumble, win it and become the WWE Champion at WrestleMania -- and to then use his MITB title shot to unify the titles. He wouldn't win the Rumble (that will probably be Cena), but you could have it come down to Cena and Ziggler in a nice spot.

Yeah, they can save the one on one match for TLC. No need for it to happen at Survivior Series. A card full of traditional Survivor Series matches would be cool to see.
