Absolutely mental.

#1-norm-fan 09-12-2017 08:31 PM

You know another guy who has been away from WWE so long that it's weird how young he still is?

Colin Delaney. He's 31. Weird to think about.

#1-norm-fan 09-12-2017 08:39 PM

Also, Zach Gowen. He finished his WWE career 13 and a half years ago. Yet he's 6 years younger than Bobby Roode who just began his.

Kenny Dykstra made his professional wrestling debut 16 years ago and he's only 31

I thought about about an owen hart reference, you know, because it would be hilarious, but couple that with a kid in a corner and that story takes a very dark turn

Apparently its possible to download any show from the new GFW Network due to whoever designed the Network was really sloppy with the source code. Made stuff that shouldn't be visible in the Network's webpage code actually visible to anyone who visits the website.

Pretty much reveals the direct links to where the content is located on GFW's servers making it really easy to download things which shouldn't be the case normally.

Also, the best Michael Cole has ever been. When they put him on NXT just to talk shit about the whole thing because they clearly gave 0 fucks about it. Your lead announcer being completely annoyed at the concept of the show he's announcing on is a horrible decision wrestling-wise but amazing niche entertainment-wise.

I completely agree with this assessment. Heel Michael Cole was a bad decision on the main roster and on stuff you want to be "canon," but his work in NXT was gold. Even when it seeped into storylines and he got the crap kicked out of him by Daniel Bryan didn't bother me. Didn't make Bryan look particularly tough, but it was fun.

Seems another reason for Baron Corbin's backstage heat is WWE finding out last month he's also one of the former NFL players currently suing the NFL in regards to concussions and CTE.

They only found out after Corbin had the heated talks with their head doctor who was the NFL's former head doctor.

I like Corbin and all but him being involved in that law suit makes me reconsider. Can totally see Vince jumping off his bandwagon after that and might have even been motive for the headbutt. Hate that a guy would bring a lawsuit against something he knew was possible when he signed up for football. I believe it should be in athletes contracts that they know the risk involved and wont sue the league later.

Emperor Smeat 09-13-2017 10:09 PM

Main reason for the lawsuit by form players is them claiming the league didn't inform them of the dangers of concussions and CTE while also trying to downplay or hide the seriousness of CTE.

NFL already got outed once before on trying to sabotage government studies on CTE because it likely was going to expose the NFL being really wrong on their claims and stance for concussions.

Reason the WWE and NFL are connected is due to the head doctor of the WWE was also the former head doctor of the NFL. He is a well known big critic of concussion studies and the effect CTE has on brains.

In my opinion the NFL, WWE, and whoever shouldn't have to inform these athletes of the dangers involved. It should really be common sence. To sue an organization that paid you way more than the average citizen for a concussion you knew was possible is completely ludicrous in my opinion and and shame. As I've said should be in their contract that they won't sue.

He's actually tapped twice to Kurt (at least), too. No Mercy 2003. Was watching that on the Network last night for (of all the possible matches) Zach Gowen v. Matt Hardy. It was Zach's only clean win in WWE, and according to "Wrestling With Wregret" vis-à-vis his recent video on Gowen's career, as he basically was pissing everybody backstage and in the locker room off by being pretty egotistical about his success.

According to the Observer, gambling sites and casinos are seriously considering dropping the ability to bet on WWE matches. They pretty much are aware who are insiders in the WWE and WWE wrestlers who bet a lot on their own matches.

SummerSlam could be the final straw since the losses were huge for at least one gambling company.

That was a key thing where I mentioned after the show that a lot of the gambling sites were considering dropping WWE because insiders that knew could make a lot of money and that level money was ridiculous. The company that got hammered hasn’t done parlays in a long time, and won’t be doing them again. It was noted that the one guy alone may kill the landscape because companies don’t want to open themselves up for those kind of losses in what is usually considered a minor fun thing of having odds on pro wrestling matches. It also should be noted that there are WWE talents betting heavily which is where some sites recognize and switch the odds when those bets come in

They've had bad nights before but this might have been the first time betting lines didn't change enough to provide some protection for gambling companies. Not even the ppv where a lot of upsets occurred was as bad as SummerSlam for losses.

She was also at SmackDown this week as her "Stories" on Instagram showed various parts of the show (which actually ruined the Tag Team Championship match for me) and WWE.com has a story about her visiting the Performance Center.

Anyway, I've been a big fan of hers since I saw her at the Commonwealth Games in Glasgow in 2014 and a part of me really doesn't want to see her make the jump to pro-wrestling but the other part of me thinks that she's accomplished pretty much everything in her field, so why not try something new.

I really think she will make the jump though. I'm expecting some sort of announcement from her or the WWE pretty soon.

Nice Seth Rollins cosplay from Steph

Yeah, they'll probably go after Erica Wiebe pretty hard. I'm still holding out for Helen Maroulis.

Seems the mystery WWE game Jerry Lawler alluded to during a recent episode of Dinner With The King podcast show likely is for mobile devices. Also likely the same company Lawler claimed was doing scans of wrestlers backstage during SummerSlam.

It didn't take place in Japan.

From what I've seen of him, Neville has been first class as a heel.
