Remember when Maven was randomly positioned as one of the top faces on Raw in 2004 and was on a Survivor Series team with Orton, Benoit, and Jericho?

And he barely got to be in the match.

Then he turned heel a month later, pissed someone off and was buried.

The winning team were to be the guest GMs on RAW as Bischoff was off on a vacation. Remember Lita and Trish main evening for the title when Jericho was the GM and Maven inserted himself in a WHC match against Hunter when it was his turn to be the GM.

Wish there was a way on the WWE Network to just watch the parts of a show involving one wrestler......
Like you could go to a year, turn on the "Macho Man" filter, and easily watch only the segments/promos/matches involving Macho Man, without having to skip around...... |
The US version lets you do that. I was trying to find the Kurt Angle documentary and upon searching "Kurt Angle" there were hundreds of results.
Most of them would just say "match" with the date below. |
Maybe the Canadian one does too. Not like I've checked.
But I want segments and promos too.... Like if you wanted to relive Kurt Angle's career, you could literally just go and watch every promo/segment/match in order...... |

To be fair to Cornette, Omega Superkicked a child and it didn't keep her down and wrestled an inflatable sex doll.... I can see both sides of the Cornette's argument, but if I was as much of a traditionalist as he is I could see why he'd be pissed....

I've heard Omega talk about how the match with the child was at a show attended exclusively by wrestlers and their families at a private event and and he didn't even know it was being recorded. Was just meant to entertain a bunch of people in the business. If that's the case, I think he deserves some slack even from a Cornette-level traditionalist's standpoint.

His real beef is that Omega sent a fake photo to ROH claiming he was injured. Instead he booked himself in a match in Japan when he was booked in ROH first.
The doll and the kid are lesser offenses. Kenny Omega is a liar. Hitler comment was a exaggeration to prove a point. Not the way I would go with it but it is what it is. |

According to the Observer, Jason Jordan didn't find out he was going to be Kurt Angle's son till last week. To help keep everything a secret, Jordan was told by the WWE that American Alphas were about to get a new push on Smackdown.
Also the reason why it was Jordan and not Chad Gable was due to the WWE wanting to play a joke on Angle and his history of dating black women. |
