Yeah, they are making a live action Pokemon film..... and instead of just doing a movie about Ash Ketchum trying to be the very best, they decided to make it about Detective Pikachu.

There are video games of "Detective Pikachu", but they never even made it to North America....... so not sure why they are going with it for a film......... Seems like a live action adaptation of the anime/original game would be yuge.........

Warner Bros is currently working on a reboot of Willy Wonka with the possibility of turning it into a series if its successful. Film itself would be a prequel in terms of storyline.
