MVP 02-04-2007 09:04 PM

So is this a Super Bowl record for most turnovers in the first half or what?

So, this guy hates Belicheck and claims how Belicheck made him play while ignoring concussions yet a few months (less?) ago he was ready to play for the same coach? Also, the story was actually written before the season started and he asked them not to run it, they (Boston Globe) agreed to hold off, but said they would run it at some point, which Johnson didn't want.

I think it's a case of a guy with some serious post nfl problems, either from injuries or pain med addiction and the depression and until that's all sorted through I can't say if this is true or not.

That being said, every athlete I've heard comment have all said the same thing "If it was that bad and coach told me to play I would have said NO" Clearly, TJ was upset but felt he could play, otherwise he wouldn't have.

I don't think so, he's still young and they still have a great team around him, win or lose I expect them to be a contender for the next few years.

The way you say it makes it sound like it would, but I'm not sure... before they had bye weeks I'd say no, because it would throw off the balance and one team would be short a home game... but with by weeks now, it might work..

VonErichLives 02-04-2007 09:15 PM

On the radio Shula ripped both teams for sloppy play and how it's "not even raining that hard".

If anyone would know about Florida rain and it's effect of the game, it would be Don Shula.

It's always nice to see a mised XP or a Saftey in a super bowl, throws off all the football squares so the 4/7 people don't win it all!

Seriously, if we had to pick AFC teams here, I would've wanted the Pats or the Ravens, but damned if the Colts aren't growing on me.

And I absolutely detest the Bears, plus the fact that Peyton Manning came from my college, so I'm quite proud. Go Colts!

when the weather got bad, I thought it could swing it in the bears favor and we'd hear about how dome teams never win out of a dome.

But, that's now how it went.

Congrats Colts and RP.

good game!

Jesus Shuttlesworth 02-04-2007 11:14 PM

lol Rex Grossman is so bad

Manning got his ring tho WOOOOOOOOOOOO!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

HE DESERVED IT SO MUCH!!!!!!!

Pretty awful game after the first half, figured it would be a boring game. Only the Patriots have exciting Superbowl games

Manning is a whiney little bitch who blames everybody but himself when things go wrong so no, he don't deserve shit.

Alright guys, going to unsticky this thread. YOUR Hero isn't a big football fan, but he found himself gettting back into it some this year. 49ers, FTW

YOUR Hero 02-05-2007 11:02 AM

Also, doesn't hurt that the Chargers, from a city where I left my heart ( ) resides are a team on the rise.

Joey Slugs 02-05-2007 12:02 PM

Ouch......

When do pitchers and catchers report?

Congrats Colts fans... the better team won.

They just lost all their coaches and Marty has a year left :-\

Agreed on the 49ers though, IMO they have a really bright future, if they can keep Norv Turner or get someone equally as good as OC.

Y2Ant 02-05-2007 04:02 PM

Detroit what

MMMBion, let us come with you to Wembley so I can throw something at Culpepper while you throw something at Shockey

Mr. Monday Morning 02-06-2007 08:42 AM

MTH15 02-06-2007 10:44 PM

Hopefully the Super Bowl next year will be more exciting. It was kinda a one sided fight to me..
