Turns out he wasn't even in the UK and got arrested in LA prior to the event.

Nobody knew he never made it to his flight nor was in jail which is why calls didn't get returned. Also why his name never showed up in any departure flights out of the UK when it was assumed maybe he was just no-showing the event.
