Lol. Where there's smoke, there's fire. You have multiple accounts of multiple talents reporting the same thing. Either JBL is being singled out by a group out to get him or he's really a shit sack bully who picks on people for no reason. I'm gonna go with the one that makes sense.

According to CBS Sports, Mauro Ranallo is done with the WWE but won't be officially released till his contract expires this August.

Ranallo's close friend, MMA personality Bas Rutten has publicly blamed Ranallo's announcing partner JBL as being the cause of Ranallo's latest bout with depression. Yesterday, JBL publicly wished Ranallo well and remarked that he was playing a "heel" on television, apparently in reference to the idea that his comments may have sparked Ranallo's problems.

A WWE spokesperson told PWInsider.com earlier today that Ranallo remains under contract to the company until August 2017.

CBS is one of the owners of Showtime, which is broadcasting a boxing event tonight featuring Ranallo on commentary

Looks like ESPN got involved with the JBL-Mauro bullying saga by dropping Coachman's weekly WWE tv segments. ESPN won't drop all coverage of WWE related stuff but Coachman implied its going to be more website based from now on.

Coachman made the big mistake of publicly taking a side on the issue and not in a good way. Started a Twitter feud with the Observer and kept making things worse the more he tweeted back.

Speculation going around the net is the WWE is going to start pulling their might towards the dirtsheets and news outlets to try to defuse this JBL-Mauro bullying saga from getting too much mainstream attention.

Observer's Dave Meltzer alluded to the next 2 weeks of this becoming more apparent and certain places and personalities basically outing themselves as in the WWE's pockets. Even though its not a surprise, Jonathan Coachman pretty much did it for ESPN for not wanting to go against the WWE.

At Kansas City airport, Steve and I were waiting around when Bradshaw came over. It was an early morning flight and John was still drunk from the night before. He started patting Steve’s ass. Steve said, “John, I don’t play that ****, knock it off.” John patted him again. And again. Steve was getting brutally pissed. He told him, “John, next time you do that, I’m going to knock your ****ing teeth out.” So, of course, John did it again. Steve whipped around and backhanded Bradshaw, popping him with jabs in the face.

John started swinging and missing, and his head was snapping back with each of Steve’s jabs. Steve stepped back, planning to kick Bradshaw’s knees out, but he got his leg caught in a bag handle. Al Snow and I grabbed Steve, Ron Simmons grabbed John, and we pulled them apart. John was walking back and forth like a bandy rooster, looking to fight. Before we left, Steve told him, “I’m going to ****ing kill you.” He meant it too.

We got our car and got on the road. Ken Shamrock was riding with us. Me, Blackman, and Shamrock. That’s a dangerous car, and I’m the warm one — a teddy bear compared to the other two. That whole journey, Shamrock was poking and prodding Steve, telling him that Bradshaw was going to beat his ass. Steve wasn’t saying a word. And who did we see when we checked in to the hotel? Bradshaw and Ron were right there.

The boys don’t always stay at the same hotels, so it was a complete coincidence and not a good one for John. He came over to apologize and Steve said, “No apologies, I’m going to finish you later,” then walked off. We found him in the gym, still boiling mad. Once we were in the arena and had sat down in catering, John walked in. Everybody went silent as Steve stood up. He said, “If you’ve got something to say to me, you say it now or I’m going to finish you in front of everybody.” Bradshaw walked over, apologized and said, “I shouldn’t have ****ed with you,” and shook his hand. That was the end of it. Steve sat down and said, “Bob, if it wasn’t for that bag, John would be in intensive care right now.” Trust me, I believe it — if anybody can put Bradshaw in the hospital with one kick, it’s Steve Blackman.
Seems like your hero is the real pussy bitch.

I know I've said it like eleventy-billion times before, but that speech haunts the ever-loving fuck out of me to this very day, and...I just....I don't even know how to put my thoughts into words, hardly. I wish the man himself were still here to tell us once and for all if he knew something was up with his health. I get the unshakable feeling that that question is going to nag and gnaw away at me for the rest of my living days.

RIP, Warrior. I know your spirit still runs in eternity through the streets of gold in Heaven. :'(:(:wavesad:

Vince Russo currently dealing with a lot of online backlash from recent episodes of his podcast show.

Previous episode had him ranting on dirtsheets and wrestling "marks" as being gay because they like certain wrestlers. Tried to claim he wasn't homophobic but then kept going on with rants against gay people in general during the show.

Randy Orton was a guest at his home town of St. Louis’ recent Wizard World convention, held last weekend, April 7 - 9. During his Q & A, the WWE World champ was brutally honest about his entrance at WrestleMania 33, which saw him walk down the 80 yard ramp while a “Viper” was projected beneath his feet

As Orton told the crowd, including one pre-teen boy who asked him about it, he’s often “screwed out of entrances” like the ones Triple H gets. He particularly disliked this year’s because “The snake looked like giant sperm”.

He reiterated his thoughts on the ‘Mania 33 entrance when he told the crowd he loved “Big 4” pay-per-view (PPV) events, but WrestleMania can have downsides like having to “ride a giant sperm” to the ring.

Just want to point out that its kind of ridiculous that Finn Balor is in the "heavyweight" division and guys like Neville and Aries are in the cruiser division. I mean I get it, Finn is a star and shouldn't be relegated to the mid card but really neither should Aries either, even though he's adding something special to the cruisers, he should be wrestling the big stars too.

I agree and didn't really like them throwing the Universal Championship on him but pretty sure that's the reason they dropped "heavyweight" from the titles official names even though the WWE championship still says heavyweight on it. It is weird how they dropped the heavyweight moniker at about the same time they brought back the Cruiserweight division.

Not really. Sure, everyone who isn't AJ Styles occasionally has mediocre or bad matches, but this is one of the best line ups in-ring that WWE has ever had.

Roman can work better than he can read scripted promos, but but that's like saying I menstruate better than I lactate.

Everyone seems unsure as to if it's an angle or not, but Shibata might be seriously injured. Really hope it's a work.

I am hoping work. In any event, the bad ass headbutt isn't so cool.

I still fully believe it's a work.

But yeah nuclear head butts seem like a really bad idea in general.

Unbelievably scummy on NJPW's part if it's a work tbh

How is it scummy though if it's a work? It's like a movie or a TV show story line. Man suffers career ending injury in the process of defeating one of the greats but somehow works his way back against all odds to reclaim his place at the top. It's the Daniel Bryan angle imo (still think Bryan will wrassle again, maybe this year, but probably next year at Mania against AJ).

This kind of angle is run all the time by companies. NJPW just made it look real and could be playing it very close to the chest. One of the reasons wrestling isn't as popular as it used to be is because everything is spoiled nowadays. If you want that old reaction and popularity back you have to keep things secretive and the more real it seems, the more believable it will be to the masses.

Besides, dehydration doesn't typically make concussions worse long term per se. It makes the symptoms more intense and makes recovery take a little bit longer if not treated. Seems weird to me that they list that as a contributing factor here for this being career ending. If he did legit suffer a concussion (which I fully believe is possible with every use of that move) then the dehydration would actually explain why the symptoms seemed so bad at first and would in a lot of instance indicate that the concussion itself wasn't as severe as originally believed.

Yeah I think blurring the lines of reality is a good thing for wrestling.

Don't work yourself into a shoot, brother. -HH

Anyone have footage of this sick headbutt?

Revelation:

Bray and Bo are on the same roster now.

Observation:

Bo was really fucking good as NXT champion but hasn't been given shit to work with since his main roster debut.

Resolution:

Bray has to bring Bo on board to rebuild his family... Bray and Bo vs The Hardy... Sheamus & Ceasaro, The Club, The Revival.... would be a great addition to the tag league on Raw.

Of course Bray has to put over Balor first, but after that where does he go? Recruit Bo.

WWE is losing it when it comes to booking this cruiser division. Just a quick glance at the roster list and damn, they have about a dozen world class pro wrestlers and most of them haven't been on Raw for more than 5 minutes, if at all. If WWE wants to truly overload the world with content why isn't the cruiser divison touring small arena's and ballrooms, filming stand alone tapings (in the style of NXT) for 205 Live, while being featured on Raw to give them a main stream push. The talent roster there is ridiculous. Aries, Neville, Perkins, Metalik, Nese, Gulak, Tozawa, Tajiri, Alexander, Gallagher, Kalisto, Dorado, Dar, Swann, Kenderick... not to mention the guys they could use from NXT...

So frustrating to see all these talented workers go to waste. Perhaps some aren't upset about getting paid to do nothing but you know that most of those guys love to work, you can see it when they get the chance to perform... why not tour with them? Hell even just shooting a month of tapings at full sail would give everyone a better more unique experience from the workers to the fans.
