Yeah Kanji's arc could be easily misunderstood if you were to just glance over it, which is brilliant considering that's exactly what his arc is about. His crossbones tattoo even looks like a reversed ♂ from the side. His contributions to the investigation are also clearly unmatched, masterful deduction skills.

Hermit is very useful for clearing dungeons early, optimally he's best to save for rainy days though because everyone else doesn't want to get wet.

Been doing the food challenge on rainy days...hard to pass on those stats

@Destor, I just did Music girl's Rank 7 link and I she is the ultimate beta. Some guy had an accident so she got his spot in the band, so she's been practicing every day for months (because I've been avoiding her tbf) to the point where she's not awful. He's shown back up on the day of the performance and she actually just cucked herself out of it and gave him his spot back. Now she's crying that things never go her way. If I wasn't going for all max links I would happily never hang out with her again. Ugh.

I'm on the last day of the vanilla content and I've actually had to plan out every day of the bonus content to make sure I can max my last few links. I think I finish with about two days spare, and that was starting with max social stats. I am definitely just bad at timekeeping.

Believe me, there's probably some cabins and other goodies tucked away that I never found.

Only drawback was that, in my opinion, it went by quick.

Played God of War for a couple hours. Loving it so far.

Combat is still very hack and slash. Just different from the old ones. Best way I can describe it is classic GOW combined with Dark Souls. A little more tactical in that regard. Important thing is that everything feels REALLY good.

I bought Witcher 2 on the cheap, a few weeks ago; I think I'll spend this weekend getting into that bad boy.

Only night options outside of dojimas are the social links via night jobs and fishing.

Fusions seem exactly like p5 so i dunno

Kratos is pretty much Old Man Logan now. Actually like him a lot more than the old I MUST YELL EVERYTHING I SAY Kratos.

In P3 you couldn't directly choose which skills got passed on in fusion, you could cancel out and try again but it was somewhat random so it made it hard to build a persona for a specific purpose, or keep the good skills in your rotation. I heard vanilla 4 was the same, but it's probably only a pain if you're going to do the velvet room social.

In p4 it isnt random but you cant pick either. The first one you pick will have priority when fusing. But you cant pick the moves yourself.

Not as much of a step back as P3 at least. I'm on the final day of NG+, should finish it either today or tomorrow depending on how much of a problem I have taking on the secret boss. I've got a huge backlog piling up, but at the same time I kind of don't want to finish.

Fucking around with New Vegas once I figured out which mod was causing the shitstorm when I loaded. It was a location mod, so when I loaded the whole thing looked stretched and broken. Deleted it upon getting outside and now I haven't a clue what I was doing.

I do have a floating robot somehow carrying about 200 lbs of assault rifles though

It's my least favourite in pretty much every aspect, but it's still Persona and Persona is the best. If you can deal with the grind of Tartarus it's worth playing.

I had her at 7 and Dojima at 8. Seems to be built that way by design since both get locked by multiple social stat checks, just the game's way of kicking you while youre down I guess.

I was stalling them both even after my stats were good enough because they gave free affinity through the story and I thought it would be enough to tide me over until end game. Then that first note arrived.

Did you make all the right choices on your first try? I got a bad ending because I said the wrong thing and had to watch all of that twice, back to back. So uncomfortable.

You know what really sucks? Going back to a game you haven't played in awhile and haven't a goddamn fucking clue what you were doing, but not wanting to start all over again.

I answered how I felt...basically told Yusuke that we didnt have enough info (Ive have a suspect as to who is really behind it) and I yelled at him at the end...that was prolly a mistake but they were trying to murder a guy by committing the crime they wanted to kill him for...it FELT right. It was probably wrong.

You got it right, I said the wrong thing about motives and everyone just kind of broke down and left. If you get that bit wrong the game immediately skips to Yu going home with no resolution, so if that didn't happen you're on course to the good ending.

oh...yeah after that nanako pulled through and we all got happy again

Oh, one thing Destor, not sure if you know this already but as soon as you finish the next dungeon time will skip ahead to the next set of events, so if you want to work on your links a bit more, you can delay finishing the dungeon until the end of the month. 22nd is the recommended day to enter the TV so you don't miss anything.

That is def a hot tip otherwise I'd have wrapped the dungeon up immeaditly. I think i can max baaketball/strength, tutor/tower and the janitor/devil.

Naoto i could have started before her dungeon but my knowledge wasnt high enough and they've locked me out of the link since she joined the party. Basically had a 2 week window to start it.

That stat check before her dungeon is a false flag, if you have high enough courage to ask her she just turns you down and the game says you'll have to wait for an opportunity to become closer haha. There's an NPC you need to find before she'll hang out with you, not sure if he's still there in December though.

Mother link is just really lame tbf.

There's a post game now. Complete different activities to get the best armor sets in the game game so you can stand up to the special enemies which I assume lead to a special cutscene if you beat all of them.

I started GoW, realized how epic it would be pretty quick, and then put it on hold until my new TV arrives that will do it glorious justice lol. Should be here today. Super stoked.

I was spoiled on it before I even started playing so I'm not sure when I would have clocked him. He has an S Link in Golden though and comes off as a bit of a sociopath. At the point where you ID him it felt like all the other potential suspects were already dead or otherwise eliminated. Was tempted to accuse Naoki or Shu just for fun.

Playing Skyrim again, want to "finish" the game. Yeah, I know you can't really "finish" an open world RPG like that, but I want to finish most of the quests that I find and the main storyline. It's been sitting on my shelf for years and I've played it on and off...

Well im at the point I can start the final dungeon now. Game has really delivered.

My ex finished every quest, except the radiant ones that can't be finished and found every location available.

Still impressed as fuck by it.

It's right up there with P5 for me. I think I actually like the Investigation Team as a group of character more than the Phantom Thieves but P5 is the ultimate in style and has the quality of life improvements going for it. :heart: both.

Jusr finished it. Core cast is better in p4. Main plot is equal i think. Game play p5 is better.

But this cast was really great and might be my fav party of all time. I really loved these characters.

Yes to both. Though inhad to save scum. Triggering the final dungeon was not intuitive and had i not fished about after beating id not known it existed. Glad i did though.

Also they recast Chei in P4G...i do not approve

Wow Chie sounds way less annoying in the original, I mean its still Chie but it makes me wonder if that effects the whole group dynamic. Mind-blowing. Almost as mind-blowing as DAMN iNATOR's hyperlink shaming, anti-accessibility stance. There is just no place for this sort of behaviour in 2018 :nono:.

I found out about the final dungeon because I looked up what I'd done wrong when I got the bad ending and it said something about going to Junes instead of going home on the last day. Would not have figured that out at all on my own. Thought that NPC was suspicious as hell (doubly so when no part time job actually came up) but then like the first three or four NPCs you meet are all pretty dodgy, figured it was a red herring but nope, was really happy that paid off.

Just noticed Teddie also has a different voice actor too, but they sound pretty much the exact same. The one thing I did notice in Golden was some of the new Kanji lines it felt like Troy Baker forgot which character he was reading and sounded totally off pitch. Not quite up to your usual Troy Baker standard of excellent Troy Bakering.
