In a juvenile way? ***That's YOUR opinion. It's not fact. Stop it.

Let's go over the post shall we?

the shit stained undies angle he did often in the Attitude era?

I'm serious, Patterson was a big deal as a wrestler and deserves his acclaim sure, but everytime I think of him I think of

"HIM retired with simulated (I would hope) shit stained undies that he would threaten to smear people with."

Apparently that never happened?
"Not cool. Am I alone in this that that angle etched into people's mental landscape when thinking of the name Pat Patterson?"

No one asked this before. They must have something to prove. That's the mentality some people have. That's not my agenda, and if you think otherwise i don't know what to tell you. Maybe think twice before judging me as paranoid though.

Here I was not condoning the man's legacy while in between the lines asserting bluntly that I am a casual observer.

"Personally that's not how I'd like to see the man go out"

What an asshole I am for addressing the elephant in the room (WWE's penchant for exploiting superstar legacy's for the sake of them either still wanting or needing a paycheck, or because they really think all of us as wrestling fans don't remember things and simply won't care.

Why build someone up if you're going to shit on them in 20 years? And yes, I know there are no guarantees in life.

lol

Also, this is the worst thread in the forum and it hasn't slipped off the page yet :'(

VSG 03-02-2011 04:28 PM

I never thought of the "shit stained undies" till now, so as I see it your ex-thread was detrimental to my image of Pat Patterson.

Supreme Olajuwon 03-02-2011 04:29 PM

Patterson and Brisco both had their legacies tarnashed. But I'm sure they enjoyed every second of it.

There's only so much shit that can slide down the page before it's filled with it.

Who gives a fuck if you 'get called out on mod abuse'? If somebody that is quite clearly being a dickhead is offended by something a mod does, everybody else will see this for what it really is. And there should be shit threads, I don't feel like discussing half the stuff that talked about on here. So I just don't. It's that simple. This wouldn't be any different if I was a mod. And Supreme, Hasney etc are quite capable of deleting or moving the actual idiotic threads, so of course the forums wouldn't be 'filled with it'. You seem to think I'm aiming this at somebody else as well as you.

It's common sense you muppet. Pat Patterson was a pretty successful wrestler and everybody knows who he is. There have been threads about much less. Some people, (not many like I said, I doubt there'd have been many responses) might have liked to talk about Pat Patterson. You only shit on the thread because it was posted by mjdiesel and he's 'not a very good poster'. If that same thread had been posted by Inno, WWKD, Noid etc, you wouldn't have gone near it. It's almost like what you do as a poster, let alone as a mod, is based on how you think other posters will perceive it instead of actually having a clue or a thought of your own. But this isn't really anything I haven't said to you before.

FINALLY THE SCHLOME HAS RETURNED TO TPWW:

So I decided to relocate a few weeks ago. I have been on here every couple days when around internet but have missed ALL wrestling shows/ppvs/news for the last month. Horrible timing leading into Mania.

FINALLY the cable guy showed up today and everything is FINALLY back to normal.

Just wanted to say hi to everyone and I have missed being an active member of this community. <3

VSG 03-02-2011 05:03 PM

Relocate to Ohio/Utah?

Gerard 03-02-2011 05:23 PM

Love these old matches, the interaction is just Classic. :D Not to mention seeing Hogan and Piper team up was pretty rare.

OK, you're right, I'm wrong. Does this make you feel better?

Tazz Dan 03-02-2011 05:42 PM

Actually, now I've read what you said I disagree. If that same thread had of been posted by anybody I would have done the same. Even you, the high and mighty CSL. And as for perception, I have no problems there. Of course everyone wants to get on with everyone, but I don't sit back and cry becuase somebody might not like me on an internet message board. I have more important worries in life.

How did I turn into a child? You called me a dickhead earlier, I don't see myself name calling. I was mearly stating my point. You know I don't have any problems with you, and I respect your views on things. I just don't feel so have that same respect for others who don't agree with you.

Is Punk holding a razor?

Cool King 03-02-2011 07:18 PM

Emo Punk.

Xero 03-02-2011 07:18 PM

Looks like a remote control. Though it may be a razor in reference to his hair match.

Though they should have included the SES mask instead.

Austin gets two accessories, Punk gets one in reference to one angle. Though I imagine his SES mask or bald look will be unlockable in All Stars.

Also, why is it called "All Stars"? Why isn't it called "Superstars"?

Lock Jaw 03-02-2011 07:20 PM

Perhaps it is a Diet Soda.

Punk also has a mysterious white orb in between his other arm.

Xero 03-02-2011 07:22 PM

Punk in Dexter's Lab.

naming something after your D show seems like a bad marketing decision

Why I love Kevin Nash,

On Vince Russo being blamed/not blamed enough for the end of WCW:

"Fuck giving him the blame for the end of WCW is like tellin' fuckin' the guy with the cello to take the fuckin' wheel on the Titanic 'hey were almost completely you know... take the wheel... oh its the fuckin' CELLO players fault the Titanic sank'"

Xero 03-02-2011 09:40 PM

lol it's true.

Xero 03-02-2011 10:02 PM

From PWInsider:

WWE also registered "Sheriff Austin". This may just them re-registering the trademark that they originally registered in 2004 (but abandoned last year) or it's part of a new nickname for Austin they will use for merchandise. They have been re-releasing some of his older shirts on their WWEShop website in anticipation of his return

Yeah he should do a shoot interview

He's an amazing storyteller and I thought that one was pretty damn funny

JimmyMess 03-03-2011 01:56 AM

Didn't Trips burn Austin when he was doing the "Sherrif" schtick... that really sold?

Watching Rey & Eddie against Blitzkreig and La Parka.

I've been enjoying Sid talking after powerbombing now, but if he ruins this match... Well fuck.
