Why is that full-circle? Did he start out as a manager?
|
ROH network being $9.99 a month and NOT including the PPVs is insane. Anyone who buys into that at that price is a straight mark.
|
Does it come with the whole library? I'd still pay 10 bucks for that. Its what I'd be more interested in anyway.
|
I dunno if it does or not, so far as I know only the weekly ROH show has been announced for it. You have to think they are including at least a large chunk of the library or they are insane.

Also, it is insane that people who never cared about ROH are excited about this just because Tiny Khan owns it now.

Those ROH shows are going to be on YouTube within 3 months. This thing is already a giant mess. And if you do convince some people to give it a chance it could cut into Dynamite, but not likely enough to actually be valuable for ROH.

__________________ The relaunched platform features updated functionality, where fans will be able to enjoy thousands of hours of Ring of Honor content including classic matches from the full ROH television archive and hundreds of pay-per-views and special events. Khan also announced plans for a weekly ROH television show to be solidified at the top of next year. Pay-per-view events will be available for viewing on HonorClub 90 days after they happen live, with live broadcasts still airing via Bleacher Report. ___________________ Kind of unclear if its the entire catalogue or only sections of tbh. I'm not really interested in old ROH, I like a bit of production value if not the overly produced WWE stuff nowadays. I will be quite happy for the ROH belts and stories to fade off AEW tv a bit. |
The best news about ROH going to honor club is Tony’s claim ROH will be phased out of aew TV. Lets see if he’s going to stay true to his word.
|
It will be phased out.
Until the next CAN'T MISS episode of Dynamite with HUGE SURPRISES |
So next week?

I am actually dead right now. HAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA |
At least Jericho knows now that this is how his feuds come off to people. I'm sure he'll do the old "It's the children who are wrong" justification for himself. But that tweet and his response are steps in the right direction.
|
Garrett is extremely based.
It sucks, because Jericho is putting on really good matches right now. It just feels like he's being wasted. |

I really can't fathom how anybody, Tony Khan and Chris Jericho included, can't be bored of JAS vs. BCC at this point. It's been 8 months of them fighting pretty much every week.
Huge ass roster. Move everyone into different programs. And next time, don't use Blood and Guts until you're ready for it to be the feud ender. |
Kevin Thorn randomly being a lumberjack the other week and it never being mentioned by the commentators is the kind of thing I'd like to see more of. Just fun little easter egg cameos.
Have Alex Wright just doing his dance in the background one day. Nobody acknowledges it, he's just there. |
It's not just with BCC. Everybody Jericho feuds with can't fucking escape him. Even worse is if he "does the honours" because then it's another 3 months until he gets his win back.
|
First time I thought lolAEW was when Jericho was in a prolonged feud with Orange Cassidy

IIRC, Jericho was meant to be off for most if not all of that summer doing a pre-scheduled Fozzy tour. But of course COVID then cancelled all gigs and so he was available for AEW again, and they had to piece something together for him. |

Jericho will put over Action Jackson another one or two times. Do the Triple H for Shelton Benjamin. Use it as a “See!” to justify all the stupid stuff he does. It wouldn’t surprise me if you don’t even see Action next week though. They are horrible with following stuff up.
|
Apparently Jericho has some sort of long-standing heat with Sasha Banks? Probably over some racist shit. Between that and Sammy “I want to rape you” Guevara and the women’s roster there — I think AEW fans should temper their expectations about Mercedes Moan in AEW.
But it would be amazing to see the destruction. |
Everyone implies that AEW runs it’s reliable markets too often, but the truth is probably that these are the markets they can run without completely drying up.
Ticket sales for Laredo and Sacramento are not going well. Have they sold out Seattle yet? The markets they run into the ground just aren’t great markets for them. |

I think Sasha had a good character and she was decent enough in the ring, but she has already walked out, TWICE! I wouldn't trust her to live up to her contract at all.
That said AEW would bend over backwards to sign her, overpay her by a lot, bury their current roster to put her over, then she will leave them high and dry. Let's not forget the last time she quit was because she didn't want to work a Raw main event that she was going to win and lead her to a PPV title match she was not going to win over Ronda Rousey. Can you imagine the fit she would throw if Tony Khan asked her to lose to Jade Cargill for a secondary title on a random Rampage? |

Do we have an official scuttlebutt thread? I’m not sure we do. Maybe that’s what TPWW needs to catch up to the secret smart people forum. Too much fact-based, good faith discussion and not enough scuttlebutt.
|
I'll scuttle your butt
|
That could be a ratings bonanza as well.

Could've had a scuttlebutt podcast
