The Broncos are great except where it matters: quarterback. Last year was about as good as they're going to get. They'll make the playoffs this year, yeah, but unless they get home field advantage somehow, they aren't going anywhere.

ROFL. Don't forget... the Colts are going undefeated this year, too. 19-0.

But honestly, at this point, it's the absolute WORST time for the Colts to have a "Super Bowl" feel.

Now, if they still have that feel in 6 weeks without getting ass raped by Shawne "Lights Out" Merriman and the Chargers, like they did last year, which was followed by James Dungy (lol) followed by Vanderjagt... then we'll talk.

But remember: Last year, the Steelers didn't have the Super Bowl feel, either. Until they ran the board for the last half of the season and the playoffs. Momentum is a huge thing, and when you start strong, it's almost impossible to keep that momentum going for 22 weeks. (Reg season Bye, First round Bye, Superbowl week included)

Plummer is fine, and Javon Walker is the man

Nah they suck

Chargers dont play the Colts this year.

Gonzo 11-07-2006 04:30 PM

Man Strahan out 2-4 weeks, possibly longer. This blows, this is the same shit that happened to us last year.

As far as I know we have injuries to Osi, Strahan, Madison, Tuck, Short, Arrington and thats just on defense. Plaxico didn't play this week against Houston because of back spasms (I assume he'll be back) and even Toomer was hobbling around at one point during that game. I swear if this season gets fucked by injuries again I'm going on a rampage.

Kris P Lettus 11-07-2006 06:00 PM

I am so tired of people talking shgit about how Reggie Bush doesn't have the stats to back up his hype.. The simple fact that two of the TD passes Drew Brees threw were because the Bucs D bit on Bush play action, is enough for me to love him.. Fuck stats.. He's the biggest decoy in the NFL..

As long as we're winning, I could care less how he effects your fantasy team..

Kris P Lettus 11-07-2006 06:03 PM

That was a random rant for random people who talk shit to me about Bush, in real life..

The Outlaw 11-07-2006 06:10 PM

A. The Colts don't play the Chargers.
B. Shawne "Lights Out" Merriman needs to put the illegal substances down.
C. Vanderjagt isn't on the team this year.

Kris P Lettus 11-07-2006 06:14 PM

They might play them, in the playoffs..

lol

How many times are you gonna talk about this? I don't think anyone expected a rookie RB to dominate the NFL. I think more people figured he'd be a lot more dangerous in the return game but the best rookie returner resides in New England (check the stats nuggas)

I missed the draft for my league and ended up with him, I didn't really want him but I figured he'd have more then one TD by now. People who have him on their fantasy teams are going to complain because you don't get points for the "NFL best decoy" - I don't think people are calling him a bad player or something.

D. I believe he was just referencing those situations and not actaully predicting that the same EXACT thing would happen again. Pretty sure he just ment that the Colts where the Superbowl Champs in November last year too and look what happened

When have I talked about this before??

Also, I'll quite defending the Saints when people stop hating on them.. I mean, I had like 3 dudes come up to me yesterday at the mall and say "wtf Reggie Bush sucks" etc..

I had on my "Got Bush" shirt..

Jesus Shuttlesworth 11-07-2006 06:28 PM

Yeah I don't know why you feel the needed to constantly defend the Saints on here though, since I've yet to see anyone bash (atleast "seriously") the Saints.

Nobody is hating on the Saints

Jesus Shuttlesworth 11-07-2006 06:52 PM

Colts Patriots Sunday Night game was one of the highest primetime games in 5 years

no wonder ESPN never shows what TPWW wants

No one is hating this year..

Everyone is now suddenly a Saints fan..

Kris P Lettus 11-07-2006 07:48 PM

Hey, remember when everyone loved them last year when they were 3-13??

I remember that..

Crippla 11-07-2006 07:55 PM

Yeah because their stadium was shit on by Hurricane Katrina. That was the only reason everyone loved them last year.

What are you talking about? Obviously people are going to shit on teams that suck, it happens. Now that they are good are people suppose to still say they suck? I don't get it

It's not like they've had one good game or something, they are a solid team this year so nobody is going say they are awful? Even so I don't really remember hearing that many people shitting on them that badly anyway, most of the shit they've gotten made fun of for was their own fault too though (Brooks throwing the pass in the wrong direction, missing the PAT after the Stanford part2 play)

No I'm pretty sure they'll find some way to recreate the PRECISE circumstances that existed last year when they ended their unbeaten streak. BTW Bill Polian said they are unbeaten in the past, like, 3 years in regular-season "meaningful" games.

Except the Chargers game. He thinks the chargers game was meaningless... but the Colts got embarrassed.

Thing is, think about this: Dolphins beat one of the best teams in the NFL. They also beat the 1985 Bears. The Dolphins WILL BEAT the Indianapolis Colts if the Colts are unbeaten after 15 games. Buhlee dat. The Miami voodoo will be in full effect.

It's the nature of the beast.. Like how every analyst is now acting like they've been a Saints fan for ever.. It's bullshit..

I know and accept that it happens, doesn't mean I have to like it..

Also, as I already said, I'm not talking to any particular person on here, it just also bothers me how people keep saying Bush is a bust just because he doesn't have 800 yards from scrimmage and 15 TD's on the season.. I'm saying that he isn't a bust due to the fact that even without those type numbers, defences still bite on him almost every single play.. Helps out on the play action plays..

Kris P Lettus 11-09-2006 03:38 PM

Also, Toomer is out for the remainer of the season.. The Giants are gonna be hurting (literally) to make a wildcard spot..

Kinda sad cause they were looking good, but these injuries are killing them..

Tiki will not get a ring.,.

RP 11-09-2006 03:41 PM

Oh stop crying. Be happy you're getting any attention. We all know the Saints will colapse in the second half. Enjoy it now and stop whining like a pussy.

Kris P Lettus 11-09-2006 03:43 PM

How about you stop bitching about my whining and go out and get some pussy??

RP 11-09-2006 03:49 PM

Thats just tasteless man.

Evil Vito 11-09-2006 04:15 PM

I was shocked when I heard about Toomer. I didn't even know he was injured.

Gonna be tough but I believe the Giants can still succeed. Tiki motivates the entire team.

Kris P Lettus 11-09-2006 04:28 PM

I dunno, yall's D is injury plagued and now with Toomer out..

I dunno..

But yeah, he's a tough mofo.. I mean, he torn his ACL and walked off the field..

RP 11-09-2006 04:30 PM

Peyton vs Eli

The Outlaw 11-09-2006 05:20 PM

That would =

lol so now that its your favorite team you are going to get mad about it? It makes no sense at all, plus the analysts on TV really aren't fans of any teams. They are just fans of the game (most of 'em anyway/atleast try to be) What where they suppose to say about the Saints last year? I don't really get it, they don't talk about the Houston Texans a lot but its not because they hate the Texans, its because who really gives a fuck about a 3 win team. If the Texans started to get good, I'm sure they would talk about them. Seems like you are kinda just digging real deep for examples of "hate" againest the Saints - when they really aren't there.

OssMan 11-09-2006 08:39 PM

Yo I guarantee Tiki Barber is going to be unstoppable with all of these injuries on offense. They rely on him so much and he is like 50% of the offense. Last week he had like 116 yards on 19 carries. Like he just gets better when he is needed more.

LOL, well next year they probably won't need him at all.

Triple A 11-10-2006 04:01 AM

Colts over Giants was my preseason prediction and still is my prediction.

AlphaBean 11-10-2006 12:47 PM

The only way the Giants will make it this year is with the NFL's help...

What do you mean by that? I'm just asking because its not quite clear to me.

Anyways, if we don't get our guys back on defense we're fucked in a big way. Toomer is a tough loss but its manageable, Tim Carter can step in and play.
