Honestly, I found myself getting better at the game by prestiging. I would start to get stale using the same 'better' weapons/attachments for so long, so I'd prestige and make it all fresh again being forced to use other weapons. Then by the time I got to the better weapons, I'd be just a little bit better at the game.

Got bored of prestiging after a couple though. Dont even remember how many times I did it.. less than 5 I know.

It's the most frustrating game ever though when there is only one spot left to take. The entire enemy team will simply camp around the bomb, usually with noob tubes. Not that I blame them, but it's pretty much insurmountable. Depending on the map.

Just finished a Demolition game on Terminal. Point A never got detonated once during the entire game. Went into overtime and unfortunately I was stuck on offense. I actually managed to plant the bomb like 3 times only for my retarded teammates to give me no support in defending it. And the one time they finally got their shit together near the end, the enemies wiped the floor with them and they all respawned far away from the target. Bomb was reset with like 2 seconds to go. :mad: Wound up with like 10 kills and 40 deaths, but still had the third highest score on the team due to constantly getting to the bomb. The two guys with higher scores than me were trying to rack up kills and nothing more.</font>

Thats the problem with the MW2 community, most of those asshole play Deathmatch on every game mode. Its frustrating as shit because, like you said, you end up just throwing your body into bullets in the name of winning, when it could be done SO much easier (and much less dying on your part) if the entire team participated and all tried for the goal.

When you do have a full squad, its crazy fun to smash the other team though. On Domination we held a team to 21 freakin' points one time when i had a full squad of buddies. We killed 'em.

Hardcore Mosh Pit is my new favorite game mode. Been posting great scores on all game modes. Mostly due to people not knowing how to actually play anything other than team deathmatch, My team went 10-0 playing capture the flag on wasteland. We where basically running circles around the other team.

One thing that does suck is the no ricochet bullshit. I had the most depressing feeling ever while playing HC mosh pit, when I got a chopper gunner on afghan, and proceeded to accidently to kill two of my teammates right off the bat. Was forced to sit out for two or three mins, until my chopper gunner was out of the air.

I hate ricochet when I shoot a barrel and it chills for a little while then explodes when my teammate walks by. Or when a team mate runs into my line of fire.

I seem to get team killed a lot more than average I've recently noticed. I'm usually super careful when playing hardcore. Will check with team before throwing grenades into bunkers, never use noob tubes, will wait out a shot if I think a team mate is in my way etc. I just wish I could say the same for my buddies that I play with. Assholes are always OMA spamming tubes carelessly, shooting me in the back, and shooting me when I'm hiding behind cover trying to get some kills, because my name doesn't show up(never mind the fact I'm facing towards where the enemy is flooding out).

Ahh I just wanted to get that rant off my chest. Still is a super fun game mode and I would be lying if I said I didn't kill a team mate every now and then while playing really cautious.

Played the demo. Not exactly into shooters as most people here are aware, but the demo's nice and intense.

I would go so far and say you may even ENJOY the entire single player campaign. It's more of the same all the way through.

I play on xbox. Yeah the OMA spamming is pretty ridiculous. I've recently upgraded my internet, so I'm now getting 4 bars most of the time, and that helps out a lot against noob tubers.

In a stroke of exceptionally bad luck for SNK, a glitch has been discovered that unlocks free access to the full versions of five of the publisher's XBLA games for users who already have the demos on their hard drives. To make it worse, the glitch occurs within Modern Warfare 2 (a game that bajillons of Xbox 360 owners already have) -- or its recent demo (which is freely available).

Somehow, running Modern Warfare 2 coincidentally fools the system into thinking it's authorized to temporarily unlock full versions of Garou: Mark of the Wolves, The King of Fighters '98 Ultimate Match, Metal Slug 3, Metal Slug XX, and Samurai Shodown II. Joystiq tested the exploit with Garou and KOF '98, and can verify that it works. For now, at least.

We're certain this issue will be patched by one of the three affected parties -- SNK Playmore, Activision, or Microsoft -- in the near future, now that it's known. In the meantime, just because you can get these games for free doesn't mean you aren't a major jerk for doing so.

Can't remember the name of it, but that Epic Games XBLA game had a glitch that let you complete the game in trial mode. Patched in a day.

hardline is lame...i hate relying on a magic number. Stopping power/DC make it easier to hit the streaks. Cold blooded is pretty valuable though, especially if you have a silencer on and ninja.

Was Playing today and was kicking ass with the Barrett. We get back to the lobby, guy goes if we are playing against Joker again I'm backing out, fuck that.

watched some insane video of this guy who I guess has been 'big' since the days of CoD2. Watched him absolutely raping in that game, followed by raping in MW2 with some absolutely ridiculous and consistent headshots with pretty much anything, but namely the intervention.

Yeah, there are some legit beasts out there. One tdm I was in this guy went 49-2. I was amazed as hell.

Also, he is apparently the guy who 'coined' the 360 shot. Like, it is just his playstyle.. he will jump off ledges and shit, and do a 360 before shooting someone in the head, but he'll do it flawlessly. Fucking ridiculous.

All too often now the enemy team will not even bother protecting the objectives in favor of trying to spawn trap. The points should be somewhat random too. You know spawning is predictable when the entire enemy team can form a wall around your spawn point and not once will the game spawn you elsewhere.

I don't mind the concept of killstreak rewards, but some of them obviously need to be nerfed. Rarely does anybody get a nuke nowadays without using the chopper gunner or AC130. Make it so that you can't use one of those and still get a nuke or something.</font>

The lack of a safe spawn system annoys me to no end.

I will spawn sometimes and I will watch the following killcam of the enemy literally looking right at me as I spawn.

It should spawn you a reasonable distance from all enemys and allies.

Has anyone from here been in a hacked game on the 360?

My cousin and I were playing last night when suddenly the phyics in the game were changed and we were glitching all through the level. When the game ended everyone in the games clantags were switched to FAG and everyone lost all their emblems and titles as well as all the challenges being reset. When you look at the guys profile who did it it mentions if you go to a website and fill out five surveys he will return it back to normal.

Anyone know about this? I want my shit back but I dont wanna fill those surveys out thinking that this may be some cheap way for him to get info.

I've been experimenting with thermals on assault rifles recently, and I've found a M4 with thermal is just lovely. It looks cool, and it is pretty accurate.

Its kinda hard to miss a huge glowing white blob in your crosshairs...

Didn't realize there was an extra 'mission' so to speak. After you beat campaign, you can go to select mission, and The Museum is unlocked. You can ring the bell on each of the desks, and all the people come to life and start shooting at you. It is fucking insanely hard. Don't think you get anything for beating it (I haven't), but yeah.. was just kinda like "Oh.. hey.. this is cool.. WOAH HOLY @$%#$&%@*(&% *dead*"

Derail is the ONLY map it doesnt really work on...

Which is odd considering that's the one map it should work well on.

I find it awkward to use on any of the snowy maps, and any other unusually bright maps(quarry). Plus when aiming at someone using cold blooded they appear more as shadows, due to the thermal making everything seem murky. Personally don't think its too much of an advantage.

I find thermal to be a challange to use as well.

Then again, I'm an ACOG nut. Which is just as well, 'cause I can't quick scope worth a damn and refuse to use the baby monitor unless I'm grabbing a downed weapon.
