Random thought: It sucks that Beth Phoenix never had her own T-Shirt.

Was really apparent during the Team RAW vs Team Smackdown match at Survivor Series where Team RAW was just their Universal division plus Braun while Smackdown had to pull from their midcard (Corbin, Bray, Orton) and management (Shane) just to have a team. |
Nakamura being on the same brand as AJ Styles, Dean Ambrose and John Cena makes a lot of sense, in a making me cum in my pants sort of way. But weren't reports saying he was going to be NXT forever? Yeah, right.
|
Nakamura on Smackdown should be amazing. I always felt that if they're gonna make two separate brands one should focus on appealing to the more "smarky" crowd.

Paige had a T-shirt too at the same time as AJ And Kaitlyn and I think Natalya did too, but I could be wrong there. |
I still have Kaitlyn's T-shirt but I don't wear it anymore as it'll just remind me of how much I miss her. :'(

If he goes to Raw, he would most likely get lost and then forgotten about. I don't know about the "smarky" crowd thing though, as "smarky" crowds tend to really annoy me at times. |
I'm the only person who thinks Nakamura sucks i guess.

I dont care for Ty Dilleger either. I love Bobby Roode though. That guy is the next big thing.

I have been on a bit of an Adrian Street kick as of late. Watching his old matches, listening to his music videos, etc.
I wonder why he isn't in consideration for one the greatest wrestlers of all time. He could work. He could go from trying to grab his opponent's ass one second to the next wailing on them, and it made sense. He sold well. He could talk. He got immense heat. Seriously, he may have had one of the greatest gimmicks of all time. Up there with the Undertaker in longevity. He literally understood every aspect of the wrestling business as well, if not better, than anyone. Wild out there entrances. He knew the song perfectly, because he wrote it. He made many of the outfits he wore to the ring, and he has made a living post wrestling making gear for others. As for influence? He influenced many of the greats. From Bret Hart, to Randy Savage, to Davey Boy (Street's variation of the Cobra Clutch was called the British Bulldog), to Shawn Michaels, to Goldust. If he didn't spend most of his career in the UK, he'd be discussed in the same breath as Ric Flair. |
It's good you're going on an Adrian Street kick, but I think he's considered by most as pretty damn important to wrestling. Maybe not the "greatest ever," but if you were going to do a documentary series on professional wrestling's most influential and important figures, he'd deserve an episode, and I don't think you'd find too many that disagree.

According to the WWE, the years between the Attitude Era and Modern/Cena/Reality Era is no longer called the Ruthless Aggression Era.
They now consider those years to be called the "Post-Monday Night War" Era as its official label. Also interesting is they now consider the Attitude Era to have ended a year earlier than everyone else accepts for its end year. Was revealed in a recent survey the WWE sent out. https://i.imgur.com/83dkmFN.jpg |
Well, if it's called the "Post-Monday Night War Era", then it makes sense for them take one year off of the "Attitude Era" and add it to that, as WCW died in 2001 and the Monday Night War ended because of it.
|
Also, I preferred "The Ruthless Aggression Era" as that time period's name but I'm not really too fussed about the new name.
I think there's too many "eras" these days anyway. Ever since "The Attitude Era", every time period has been an "era". |
Also also, I notice that "The 80's Boom" makes no reference to Hulk Hogan, so I guess we can all assume that he's still not 100% back in the WWE's good books.
|
Says a lot about the "stagnation" of rassling that you have all these "eras" lasting 4-8 years, and the "modern era" is already approaching 12.....
|
Or maybe it doesn't
I dunno Leave me alone |
So some girl called Sophia Grace has been invited by Nikki Bella to come to SmackDown next week.

Drew Gulak's gimmick: He's obsessed with his boots
-Vignettes are shot in his one bedroom apartment in Philly where he wakes up, completely naked but only wearing his boots. Puts on his wrestling trunks and proceeds with his day. -Another vignette of him making omlettes in his gear, sits at his kitchen table and eats his breakfast only wearing his boots and trunks. -Next vignette, it's snowing in Philly, Drew goes out and shovels in his gear and his entrance robe. -On RAW, a top CW heel knocks out Gulak, steals his boots off his feet. Gulak wakes up and is mortified. -Eventually builds into a ladder match with Gulak's boots hanging up above and Gulak wrestles barefoot. -I'm drunk TPWW, forgive me. -Goodnite. |

What did you guys think of the debut of Evan Douglas? I don't know how many here watched it, but do you think he will do well for himself? Will he boom or will he bust? I think Evan Douglas has serious potential. I love the angle written for him where he is a referee-gone-wrestler. I don't recall if WWE ever done something like that, but it feels like a really creative storyline. I hope they keep calling him "Ref Evan Douglas" even as he wrestles. Whats everyones though on this? |

The tattoo is probably some "inspirational quote", like "never a failure, always a lesson" or "without struggle there is no progress" or "through every dark night, there is a brighter day" or some kind of crap like that anyway.

Ezekiel Kane i think one problem this organization may start running in to is that Wal-Mart will start asking for commercial time for all the Wal-Mart clothes being worn on the shoe.

i have a very serious question. I know there are a few aspiring pro wrestlers on here and i am wanting to start training. i really need advice on do's and don'ts , a good workout routine and wrestling school basics. Anyone willing to help me out here?
|
You have to start in Backyard Wrestling. That's where you learn the basics.
|
I remembered that i have a friend who is in contact with Impact Pro Wrestling, i am going to see if he can help me out a bit, he did some training with Austin Aries. I want to have all the help i can get
|
You don't start out training with the greatest man that ever lived
|
Seriously, find a reputable school. I'd go with Booker T and Stevie Ray's or Storm's school. Rick Baseman is a nice option, as well.
Local Indy Feds sometimes have schools, but be wary. |
Does Taz still have his school? It was more of an advanced class training though. It was a finishing school.
|
Yeah, find a decent school, avoid back yarders. Try to turn up in shape, but everyone is generally different anyway and you'll eventually develop the conditioning you need... unless you decide it's not for you. Just be respectful and willing to work hard.
|
You just need knee pads, a tarp, lots of rope, a few trash cans and a friend with a backyard and you can start training right away.
|
Ref Evan Douglas didnt get to where he is now by spending a fuckton of money to be trained by some idiot like Booker T.
|
seth rollins's school or impact pro are the closest schools near me, i live in Iowa

I'm sure Mojo will be fired soon. He's so fucking horrible its not even laughable anymore
|
I haven't seen a LOT of Mojo but from what I have seen it seems like he could probably play an annoying douchebag heel pretty well.
|
Yeah, I'm pretty sure ya'll going to be disappointed when Mojo Rawley is pushed as the next John Cena.
|
I mean he's such a nice guy from what we've seen of him "backstage." I really want to like the dude, but he just... I mean I don't even know what the hell he's trying to do sometimes. >_<
