Just remembered the dream I had last night.

I decided to grow a beard and after that, the rest of my dream became a montage of my new life with the beard, and the music of the montage was Big Boss Man's Attitude Era theme.

Cool King 11-03-2016 07:40 PM

It's a really good theme though.

Once Sting won the WCW World Title from Hollywood Hogan at the end of 1997, do you think Sting vs. Goldberg should have been the big plan?

It's not good enough to be allowed to be transfered to old WWE Network and DVD Stuff.

Hard Time or nothing for the Blue Face Big Boss Man.

Would have been a pretty good "passing of the torch" moment for WCW's next era. Still would have to deal with Goldberg getting his first loss but maybe the aftermath wouldn't have been as bad or dumb as what happened in reality.

Good/Bad news regarding the Universal title based on recent sheet stuff being confirmed true.

The good news is the Universal title is about to get a lot more priority for RAW after Survivor Series and the bad news being its all due to Reigns getting involved.

The arena for the next RAW ppv, Roadblock, confirmed Reigns vs Owens for the Universal title is set to happen. May or may not end up being a title vs title type match since sheets hinted at it being the match stip.

Ah, just found out that Drew Galloway, Jay Lethal, Carlito, Justin Gabriel and Magnus will also be there.

I'm pretty sure I'll be going to this now.

These guys appear to be better at getting bigger names to come here compared to the local indy promotion, which only seems to manage to get two big names a year to come here and one of them is always Ted DiBiase.

Do you not understand physics? The ladder is not going to randomly turn itself sideways or something. And you act like they are in the middle of the crowd. That's the bottom of the ramp right where the fans are barricaded and even elvated away from the ring.

Not even to get to the idea that the WWE does the same types of shit with ladders on the regular...

Wouldn't be surprised at some short term outrage but nothing lasting because wrestling being a low priority in the mainstream. Will be intersting how the WWE tries to spin things in a positve way.

If it wasn't for Gawker being despised a ton more, Hogan probably has no chance at rehabbing his mainstream image.

Might watch this...... was watching season 1 as it aired here on a channel, but stopped..... had like 12+ episodes on my DVR and decided to just delete them all and stop recording more.......

Was just "too much wrestling" added to the WWE stuff....

In addition, kind of "got tired" of a lot of the actual wrestling being big spot after big spot....

At the same time was "intrigued" by all the characters, and storylines......

Damian Rey 2.0 11-06-2016 09:01 PM

In an update for my new endeavor into NJPW, watched the main event heavyweight title match for Wrestle Kingdom, which was just fucking stellar, as well as both Styles and Nakamura's last match.

Really really like what I've seen. Making it a regular habit of catching their show now. Definitely fills my weekly fix.

Mr. Nerfect 11-06-2016 09:54 PM

Sin Cara and Chris Jericho reportedly got into a backstage fight on the overseas tour. Details about what the fight was about or whether Sin Cara is still undefeated in backstage scuffles are not available. Sin Cara has got balls, but I can see an altercation with Jericho being the downfall of his run in the company, although I think Jericho is one of the boys enough to let it go.

Mojo Rawley also cut a promo in fluent Arabic. Apparently he is of Arabic descent, but I still think this goes to my theory that they will eventually try to turn him into the next John Cena.

Think that pretty much is the style with Lucha in regards to favoring high flying spots and constant action. Its a big reason why WWE's new Cruiser division feels flat since its trying to work the slower WWE theatrical style instead.

DaveWadding 11-06-2016 10:15 PM

Lucha Libre in general is this way. Some people were super impressed with Metalik and Dorado during the CWC, but I wasn't because they worked the very boring WWE version of lucha style.

Seems like that might be the case with Sin Cara since one of the sources implied he both started it and won't be able to escape punishment like he did with the Gotch fight.

SlickyTrickyDamon 11-07-2016 02:14 AM

Saudia Arabia doesn't get sexist! They stay sexist!

That was a Network Special not a ppv.

What goes through your mind when you post things like this, STD?

Your need to correct things that don't need to be corrected is fascinating to me. I even made a thread about it.

Cool King 11-07-2016 11:30 AM

With Raw and SmackDown being in Scotland this week, I'm fully expecting a number of things to possibly happen.

1. Someone wears a kilt
2. We see tartan attire or attire with the Scottish flag on it
3. An Andy Murray reference is made
4. We hear bagpipes
5. Someone makes fun of bagpipes
6. Someone mentions Haggis, Irn-Bru or deep fried Mars Bars
7. Someone wears a Tam o' shanter or the touristy one that has ginger hair attached to it
8. A reference to Braveheart is made
9. Attempts will be made at either a Scottish Accent (that will possibly sound Irish) or a Scotticism
10. Lastly, this is a long shot but Celtic and/or Rangers will be mentioned

Cool King 11-07-2016 11:30 AM

I'm expecting to get at least a 5/10.

Big Vic 11-07-2016 12:57 PM

I will take the under.

Yeah no thanks. If Taker has to wrestle, I'd rather him go against someone who can still go.

If they want a high profile, previous gen star to wrestle Charlotte, ask Lita to put her over.

Nicky Fives 11-07-2016 01:28 PM

Charlotte/Sasha for Mania, stipulation being it will be the last time they will face each other for a year or with the loser going to Smackdown.

Damian Rey 2.0 11-07-2016 01:45 PM

Yeah but that devalues SD because the loser is banished there.

They've already ran enough Charlotte v Sasha. Let those two move on to something else for a while before revisiting.

Giving people correct information. Not going to change the way I post based on bullying threads.

Yeah I don't see this anywhere being reported.

Funky Fly is back 11-07-2016 02:24 PM

Black Widow, what is up girlfriend. Not much here just eating lunch and doing my nails. Girl, you know how it is. Always some man trying to bother you while you do your nail. That's right, Girl. I told him, I said "I ain't playing which you" and he was like "Girl, yo I ain't trying to mess which you" and I was "Whateva, Whateva". Girl, it's hard for us out here in the world. You know what it be like.

But... no one mentioned it being a PPV and you "corrected" the statement that it was a PPV... What the h...

You needlessly correct people even if they said nothing that needed to be corrected. Definitely a bully move.

Damian Rey 2.0 11-07-2016 02:37 PM

Ahh it appears we've found Fan's storyline and opponent for Wrestlemania season

#1-norm-fan 11-07-2016 02:38 PM

No. Unlike the dastardly Norman Smiley, I do not wish to go fist to cuffs with STD. I only wish to understand why he does that baffling and annoying thing he does. I'd prefer to take the year off from competition and be in STD's corner when he faces The CyNick in the debate of a lifetime.

Emperor Smeat 11-07-2016 02:41 PM

According to both Forbes and TMZ, Hogan is currently rumored to be wrestling at Mania next year and very likely will be his retirement match. Brooke Hogan pretty much stated Vince has been personally contacting Hogan for a while in regards to a possible return to the WWE.
