It's been a long time since the Slam Dunk contest made me jump out of my season. Then Zach LaVine and Aaron Gordon started competing against each other.

Evil Vito 02-13-2016 10:52 PM

Gordon did get screwed though I think.

Anybody remotely interested in the All-Star Game tonight?

I expect nobody to play defense, a total of more than 350 points combined, Kobe to score the most points, Kobe to be named MVP, and the West wins.

Droford 02-14-2016 09:31 PM

I know its the ASG but both teams close to 100 beforevthe half is crazy

Droford 02-14-2016 09:43 PM

Also Sting at halftime of NBA is crazy..

Droford 02-14-2016 10:47 PM

No defense or not, 200 pts would be cool but i think the west going to settle around tge low 190s

Droford 02-14-2016 11:30 PM

31/80 3pt for the west
Shaq Barkley Ernie and Kenny shooting 20 3 pters each

Who makes more

ClockShot 02-15-2016 04:34 PM

4 away from 200 points.

Seriously, NBA All-Star game is a joke.

Emperor Smeat 02-18-2016 03:22 PM

Slow trade deadline day this year. Just a couple of trades with the biggest being the 3 way involving the Cavs, Blazers, and Magic.

Cavs-Blazers-Magic trade:
Cavs got Channing Frye from the Magic.
Blazers got Anderson Varejao and 2018 1st Round Pick from the Cavs.
Magic got Jared Cunningham from the Cavs and 2018 2nd Round pick from the Blazers.

Evil Vito 02-18-2016 06:40 PM

Most of the experts are blaming the lack of trade deadline movement on the Warriors being so good that most of the teams didn't really see the point of improving for this year.

DaveWadding 02-18-2016 06:58 PM

The Phoenix Suns improved by trading whiny penis Markieff Morris to the Wizards for Kris Humphries, DeJuan Blair, and a first round pick.

Seems like a lazy excuse and part of a growing trend this year to just blame the Warriors for all NBA woes this season.

ESPN had a segment a few weeks ago about people blaming the Warriors for why ratings were down instead of the fact every year has way too few legit teams as contenders.

Evil Vito 02-18-2016 10:00 PM

That's pretty much precisely why I can't get into the NBA at all anymore. It's by far the most predictable of the major sports. Most years you can skip right past the regular season and even half of the playoffs and end up with the exact Conference Finals matchup you would have predicated the previous summer.

A lot of purists actually like that about the NBA, how there are so few playoff upsets and allows you to focus on the few contenders every year. But it does nothing for me.

ct2k 02-19-2016 04:25 PM

Fuckin dunk fuckin contest. Fuck. Unbelievable. That over the mascot under the legs shit from Gordon was FUCKING FLAMES.

LaVine half way line half hour also.

Sensational.

harmsway 02-24-2016 08:03 PM

Who you guys like tonight. I got detroit,sa,gs and toronto. Laying big points

Emperor Smeat 02-29-2016 11:49 PM

Apparently a bunch of teams are upset at the Miami Heat over the antics they pulled to get under the luxury tax penalty.

Involved fooling everyone about wanting to go under the tax penalty but finding a loophole to get both Joe Johnson and a tax payout check from the league. Majority of the anger is at the Heat getting another player to waive most of his salary without getting nothing back in return.

Because of those antics, Heat guaranteed themselves a $2.6 million luxury check in the offseason and everyone else who followed the tax rules get lower checks as a result.

Shelvin Mack! Been waiting for a decent point guard in Utah since Deron Williams. Jazz are one gane behind Dallas for the final spot.

Bad News Gertner 03-28-2016 11:19 PM

Jazz beat the Lakers by 48 lol

SlickyTrickyDamon 03-30-2016 12:58 PM

Yao Ming selected to the Basketball Hall of Fame.

Sam Hinkie has stepped down as the Sixers GM.

ClockShot 04-07-2016 06:58 AM

I honestly think it's only a matter of time before the Colangelo family puts in a bid to buy the 76ers.

Evil Vito 04-07-2016 08:36 AM

Knicks considering making Kurt Rambis the full-time coach next season.

RIP Knicks 2016-whenever seasons

Bad News Gertner 04-07-2016 07:59 PM

Ugh, Utah are going to miss the playoffs by one fucking game. That's what happens when Raul Neto andTrey Burke are your two fucking point guards 3/4 of the season.

Ruien 04-07-2016 08:40 PM

Utah is up right now and Houston sucks. Why do you believe they will miss it?

Bad News Gertner 04-07-2016 09:05 PM

Houston has the Suns, Lakers, Wolves and Kings left to play and the Jazz are SO inconsistent.

Ruien 04-07-2016 09:24 PM

True. Who has the tie breaker? Jazz will go 2 and 2 at the worst. Houston can't win 4 games in a row.. Hell, they may lose to the Suns tonight.

Bad News Gertner 04-07-2016 10:32 PM

Haha and of course Houston loses at home against the Suns.

Ruien 04-07-2016 10:32 PM

Haha amazing. You should feel better now.

Ruien 04-07-2016 10:33 PM

Tried to tell you.

Bad News Gertner 04-12-2016 05:49 PM

Lol tried to tell you!

Ruien 04-12-2016 09:36 PM

Haha. Thought they had the tie breaker. Still possible Houston blows it.

Emperor Smeat 04-12-2016 11:24 PM

Spurs managed to tie an NBA record for most home wins in a season this year.

And the Jazz miss the playoffs by one fucking game. Fuck sakes.

Emperor Smeat 04-13-2016 10:37 PM

Wow at the Cs game tonight. Down 62-38 at the half, then held Miami to just 5 points in the 3rd and end up winning by 10 points.

Had the Hawks won tonight, Cs would have taken the 4th seed and faced Miami but instead took 5th and face the Hawks because of tiebreakers.

Ruien 04-13-2016 10:58 PM

Really hope Kobe does not go scoreless tonight. He is sooo slow now a days.

Obviously it always sucks to miss the playoffs but the 8 seed is basically just determining who gets to be assfucked by Golden State four times.

Nark Order 04-14-2016 12:46 AM

Honestly. Fuck Kobe Bryant. I judge his entire career on what happened in 2002.
