That 5min anime is better than any past attempt for the franchise. It is the first time I ever cheered for Ryu. The game music, the in-game voices, the action, the surprise return... That movie was sweetness. I can't wait to see the other characters movies.

You know what would be cool? If they added a few SF 3 characters to the mix. Like Sean, you know? Characters whose stories are tied to SF 2 characters so that they could logically appear before SF 3 happens.

Also, while the inclusion of Sakura is great, all I can think is "yayyy, more shotos".

True "Shoto" was used and eventually dropped from describing all the Ryu clones. The term is still used more in a fan-label sort of way, no weight to it.
