Gotta be honest it seems pointless to me having an assist system when it's not a tag game. I'm pretty sure it has something to do with MK1 coming out relatively quickly after MK11, as if to catch the anniversary, and they didn't have time to make these extras fully playable.

Even the presentation is less cinematic in the intros, fatalities, and victory animations - all accounting for the assist character, like a tag fighting game would.

Guess who just received a stress test code that starts tomorrow ��

Pretty bare bones (It's a stress test, after all).

4 story tower for single player. I haven't tried online versus yet.

Very easy, easy, medium, hard, and very hard are the difficulty modes.

4 playable characters, 3 kameos.

Kenshi is going to be overplayed. That's for sure....total...badass. more so than before.

Just got my ass handed to me by a kombo master-zero. juggled like a lil bitch in the corner.

Dunno yet if I could have even performed a break lol

They must have been in prior stress tests. Their record said 0-0 but hell to the no, dawg.

I've played as Sub, Kenshi, and Katana. About to play as Kang.

Current thoughts....I like the idea of Kameos but it seems like matches are way too reliant on them.

Not sure if Jax or Kano is the better Kameo atm. Both seem better than Sonya.

I guess it's going to depend on how your main character plays with which is the better Kameo to tag along, obvi. It's hard to tell with the available fighters.

There seems to be a bug on the game not recognizing fatal blow inputs and sometimes fatalities.

I don't think anything I'm saying is against the NDA but alas, I didn't read it :o

It'd appear Liu's bicycle kick is limited to part of a fatal blow

Liu and Sonya seem to make up a good partnership playwise.

1. Kenshi/Liu
3. Sub-Zero
4. Kitana

There just seems to be something lacking with Kitana (so far).

You absolutely know what you're always going to get with Sub. There's that warmness to playing him (or coldness). Like Grandma's cookies.

I think that's all I got for now. To recap:

I love how Kenshi seems to be the only person from the 2000s 3D era to continue having a substantial "career" in following games.

It's a swerve to have Sub-Zero and Scorpion as blood brothers from the same clan. It's still def BiHan and Kuai Liang. Liang being the "Scorpion".
