Wish they had more tag teams. Remember when they would do 5 team vs 5 team Survivor Series matches where when someone gets pinned then them AND their partner was eliminated. Fun times.

I think that tease could be a swerve to lead people to believe he will interfere and Khallas AJ, but instead hits it on Brock, and drags AJ's limp carcass on top of him in a swerve so they can start the Clash of Champions rematch story with Jinder saying he beat Brock, but he couldn't do it without help from the Modern-day Maharajah and that there will be no-one to help him defend at CoC.

AJ then does some kind of clever retort about Jinder's run and him always having the Singh Bros. around or something.

Yeah New Day vs Shield is good enough on its own to not need to be shoe-horned into another SS match.

Reigns getting sick ended up being a bit of a blessing since it added another interesting match to the card considering he was originally meant to be on Team RAW instead.
