I hope so RP

Fuck Jericho

Emperor Smeat 11-07-2020 11:08 PM

 at MJF pulling an Eddie Guerrero.

Ending was somewhat flat but match itself was pretty good overall.

GD 11-07-2020 11:08 PM

MJF with the sneaky victory

RP 11-07-2020 11:08 PM

liked it.

GD 11-07-2020 11:09 PM

Wardlow too!

slik 11-07-2020 11:09 PM

Huzzah at MJF

Emperor Smeat 11-07-2020 11:12 PM

So since Sammy got killed by Matt Hardy earlier, who takes over his coveted spot in the Inner Circle, MJF or Wardlow?

Evil Vito 11-07-2020 11:12 PM

Revolution...the last AEW PPV in front of a full audience, weeks before everything closed.

Droford 11-07-2020 11:17 PM

I wouldnt be upset if Eddie Kingston wins but my guess is he wont

Moxley vs Omega would be a bigger match

Emperor Smeat 11-07-2020 11:17 PM

Assuming this I Quit match doesn't go over 25-30 minutes, Full Gear seems to be on track to end earlier than All Out did.

RP 11-07-2020 11:18 PM

OK..

Eddie Kingstons gear does not match up with his character. AEW really needs to fix that. I'm shocked they let him out there looking like that.

I dont think they have the best people working on their ring gear

see nyla rose and ftr

slik 11-07-2020 11:24 PM

where Brock at

Droford 11-07-2020 11:25 PM

I should have recorded the notre dame clemson game..in OT, its been a doozy

Droford 11-07-2020 11:27 PM

lol if this gets as crazy as the Mox match from full gear last year

Emperor Smeat 11-07-2020 11:27 PM

AEW should have subtitled this show "Bloodsport" considering a third of the matches involved someone bleeding.

Droford 11-07-2020 11:29 PM

barbed wire..fist

slik 11-07-2020 11:29 PM

leprechaun

Emperor Smeat 11-07-2020 11:29 PM

Think Kingston might be legit crazy now since he just willingly wrapped his arm in barbed wire.

GD 11-07-2020 11:33 PM

This match is absolutely savage. Not my cup of tea but I can respect both men for taking unnecessary risks.

Droford 11-07-2020 11:34 PM

uh oh

Evil Vito 11-07-2020 11:34 PM

Wincing in pain watching this match.

the lights out match last year was fucking nuts

slik 11-07-2020 11:35 PM

Not the rubbing alcohol on open wounds, that is a first in an "I Quit" match

Emperor Smeat 11-07-2020 11:35 PM

 at Moxley getting kicked in the nuts.

Nice of Eddie to help clean Moxley's back wounds with that bottle of rubbing alcohol.

Emperor Smeat 11-07-2020 11:36 PM

Ouch at Moxley having tacks stuck in his head.

Match has delivered a lot in terms of brutality so far.

Evil Vito 11-07-2020 11:37 PM

Tacks stuck in Mox's fucking head omg

Evil Vito 11-07-2020 11:38 PM

Barbed wire to the throat god damn

crazy match

RP 11-07-2020 11:39 PM

Did he even quit?

GD 11-07-2020 11:40 PM

Look at me, ma! No grandchildren, no daughter-in-law, no wrestling title, ma!

Emperor Smeat 11-07-2020 11:42 PM

AEW title match was very good overall.

Probably could have used a few more minutes to build up a bit more brutality for that ending sequence.

Full Gear was a very enjoyable show overall and was better than All Out. Enjoyed Omega vs. Page the most out of tonight's card.

slik 11-07-2020 11:44 PM

anti-climatic ending to a ppv

slik 11-07-2020 11:53 PM

wanted a cool debut like brock or someone to show up and beat the shit outta moxley

Triple A 11-08-2020 01:18 AM

The PPV was good imo but seemed like one of their weakest... but online it seems like most people loved it and thought it was one of the best. I think maybe I was too distracted via talking with other people "irl" during it

Main event was good but Eddie Kingston's gear made him seem like a jobber...

Cassidy vs. Silver match was great...

FTR vs. Young Bucks match was my fav of the night

GD 11-08-2020 01:28 AM

Gave me Spirit Squad vibes.

Fignuts 11-08-2020 05:24 AM

"Just because his arm is hurt, doesn't mean his legs are hurt"

Good call, excalibur.

Jesus christ.

Volare 11-08-2020 08:04 AM

Passed out during the main event (whiskey not boredom lol). Hell of a match between Mox and Kingston. I can imagine them 2 having a good time telling a story the way they want to.

Overall great PPV. Darby shocked the hell out of me. Omega is taking the title off Mox, Shida is still beautiful and congrats to the Bucks on the tag titles....oh yeah John Silver is awesome.

Jordan 11-08-2020 07:30 PM

Great ppv.

I'd pay top dollar to see a "triple threat battle royal" match between all the clones of PAC vs the split personality of Prince Devitt vs Taz(z) from his WWE Titantron vid where he pulls a Superman III.

Special guest referee, enforcer, and timekeeper are each of the Three Faces of Foley.

You can patiently wait to blow me. I can’t even be fucked to read the results of this boring ass company. They’ve somehow made wrestling suck more.

Mr. Nerfect seems like he is miserable irl.

I'll come to his defense on this one.

The reason is because if he doesn't go "All In" with his opinion, and tries to be somewhat diplomatic, there are posters who will have a hissy fit and call him swear words, talk about gotchas, and think irrationally that by banding together with other similarly minded insulters that they have "showed him".

Evidently posters think winning an argument here is determined by who says the meanest thing, and who yells the loudest. You can't be mad at Noid for playing by the method established by others.

It's very accurate, it's why like a 3rd of the active posters here are on my blocked list, because there is no civility. It's exactly the vitriol you are asking Noid about.

Pretending Noid is the only poster here that posts that way requires some serious blinders being worn.

#1-norm-fan 11-09-2020 05:44 PM

I’m down to have a formal debate with xrod with no cursing or name calling if we agree that there will be no sidestepping of questions and all issues from the other side will be directly addressed before moving on. We can agree on an unbiased moderator or two if need be.

I am comfortable with this agreement. Is xrod? Or does that agreement scare the dumb motherfucker? (Debate hasn’t started yet)

XL 11-09-2020 05:52 PM

There’s 0% chance of that happening but I feel I’m pretty unbiased in my opinion of both companies (watch more out of habit than enjoyment at this point anyway) so I’d be open to moderating.

Mr. Nerfect 11-10-2020 03:39 AM

Stop being such giant sooks. If people’s enjoyment is effected by my correct takes, then their enjoyment was not as embedded as they thought. I will deliver my takes however I want. AEW fucking sucks and is making wrestling worse. If you don’t like it, tell me how it’s not and I’ll tell you how you are wrong.

It is the worst parts of WWE, PWG, WCW and CZW rolled into one.

Mr. Nerfect 11-10-2020 03:41 AM

7 pages for a PPV. Weak as shit.

drave 11-10-2020 08:06 AM

But HIAC went only 3 pages?

The past couple weekly show threads have struggled to get more than 1 page, with usually less than 5 people even being active in said threads.

If we are measuring success by thread length on an old wrasslin board ofc.

So Sammy is probably written out right? At least for a bit. Does MJF and the rest of the inner circle turn on Jericho tomorrow?

Are there demo's for wrasslin message boards? What page length constitutes a success in the board demos?

Mr. Nerfect 11-10-2020 04:31 PM

It highlights that no one really gives a shit about wrestling anymore.

drave 11-10-2020 05:02 PM

but moreso wwe than aew? based on thread length?

I would think he's at least off Dynamite tomorrow. Do you think Santana and Ortiz leave the group over this? I know only one of them was really against MJF joining, but I can't see that tag team being broken up just yet.

No. Neither gets any attention on here. These boards are dead because wrestling is dead. But interest in the WWE is several times larger.

Because bro, thread pages don't even matter! AEW gets 300,000 18 to 49 year olds to watch their show, they are KILLING IT!

So Elite bro!

Mr. Nerfect 11-10-2020 06:08 PM

Which advertiser is going to market to those 300k? If they even looked into them they probably worked out they aren’t going to start any trends.

That's a good point. Booting them out wouldn't make sense, either. Sammy being written off for a while, and Jericho getting Orton'd, makes the most sense.

Jericho has done about as much as he can as a heel. A face turn could freshen him up with different opponents.

There is no way Jericho could turn face, then they couldn't spin the drunk tweets he sends out as "oh he is just being a heel".

As long as alcoholic Jericho is gonna get liquored up and tweet, he has to be a heel.

Mr. Nerfect 11-11-2020 06:41 AM

There are no faces and no heels in the new evolved AEW. Jericho can be drunk and babyface. It’ll just be “funny” instead of a symptom of a very major problem in a human being’s life that probably needs to be addressed.
