Feels like Impact forgot to add another match or segment to tonight's show and only realized it very late since that Matt Cardona vs. Sami Callihan match went way longer than it should have.
Them going straight into the Callihan vs. Trey Miguel feud also made Cardona feel like an afterthought. |

Violent By Design vs. Sabin, Storm, Mack, & Edwards hype video for their match at Rebellion was really good.
Might not be at the same level or consistency like WWE for their PPV matches hype packages but Impact has had some pretty great hype packages for some of their PPV matches in recent months. |

Eric Young vs. Eddie Edwards was pretty good overall. Kind of crazy that Young wrestled this match with an ALC injury since he really hasn't shown it these past couple weeks.
This week's go-home show was okay overall. Felt more skippable than usual mostly because the bulk of the show was just videos and stuff hyping up Rebellion and had very little must see worthy stuff. |

Alexander's Divine Intervention to TJP was brutal looking. Almost looked like he accidentally spiked TJP's head a bit too hard.
X-Division title Three-way match was very good. Impact lost a good tag team when Ethan Page left but it did give them the prime opportunity to create a new singles star in the making with Josh Alexander. |

That explanation by Matt Striker might be the first time I've ever heard of a on-air reason why the champ for a title match comes out first.
In WWE, they almost always have the champ come out first for title matches these days unless its a top star champ they actually care about. |

Impact getting Mauro Ranallo for this title vs. title match was the best thing they did for this PPV.
Making the big match fight vibes feel even bigger than had they just went with Striker & D'Lo. NXT really missing having that big fight feel and energy Mauro constantly brought to their commentary booth. |

Swann vs. Omega has been mostly very good but also way more sloppy or off than it should be.
Feel a bit bad for Swann since this is arguably the highest profile match ever in his career and things are not going that well for him in-ring wise. |

AEW & Impact title vs. title match was mostly very good but the flow of that match was really off at times. Not sure if it was due to Swann's botched headstand causing him to be messed up for the rest of it or just a somewhat off night for both guys.
Rebellion itself was very entertaining overall despite the main event being less than what I was hoping for. Hope Mauro can do more wrestling shows for Impact and/or AEW in the future since it was nice hearing him commentate again. |

Impact running a new storyline of Omega getting stripped of the Impact title if he misses a show is interesting.
Would be a very lame way to do a title change if that were to actually happen at some point though. |
Morrissey's first promo in Impact was pretty flat or weak. Probably a good idea to not have him talk much if he's just going to be a typical big man style wrestler.

Going to be crazy if Impact manages to get Okada for one of their shows before AEW does if that ad for Slammiversary isn't just a bait-and-switch thing.
Samoa Joe and Chelsea Green returning would make sense but you don't tease someone of Okada's status if you can't deliver him. |
