There's really only 5 folks in AEW I would be interested in signing, if I were Trips.

I am talking about Ricky Starks, Powerhouse Hobbs, Wardlow, MJF, and maybe Thunder Rosa as a trainer. Perhaps even Abaddon for a one off with Bray Wyatt.

Your list reads very similarly to mine. I’d add Jade Cargill though. I’m iffy on Britt Baker because of her attitude. I haven’t seen enough of Jamie Hayter. Hit them in the women. They’ll need to present a women’s division, so if you take anyone worth anything close to a shit, they’re up the river on that one.

But some of these guys and girls are better salvos going off in AEW’s own ship. MJF and Jade Cargill are the two they sort of get right. They’re the ones I would poach. Decide everyone else when their contracts come up and let them be miserable there in the meantime.

Lower on the card, I’d consider Brian Pillman, Jr., Brock Anderson and Griff Garrison too. Private Party too. But that’s NXT level stuff.

Aside from MJF I would not sign any AEW original. Not because they are bad, but I don't think you can unteach the bad habits they have learned working for Tiny.

My understanding is TK did an interview with some guy who asked him a bunch of shit about Punk and The Elite that he knew TK wouldn't answer and then started whining when TK didn't answer lol. Meltzer all in his feels about it because he wants to know whats gonna happen to his buddies in The Elite because damnit, it's his right to know!
