Has anyone checked todays date? Maybe we've all travelled back in time, did you even consider that? Did you?

SlickyTrickyDamon 12-05-2014 04:57 AM

So I guess non-compete clauses are horseshit. Punk for the win.

whiteyford 12-05-2014 06:23 AM

Lesnar already beat his before he jumped to the UFC

Mr. Big Smiles looks like an Asian Bray Wyatt.

Innovator 12-05-2014 12:52 PM

FYI - Mr. Big Smiles whole routine involves working a match towards a kick to the balls.

drave 12-05-2014 12:55 PM

Outstanding! Is he the dude that constantly headbutts people in various ways?

Not very well versed on the Japs wrasslin.

WWE's website has a new article up on British wrestling legend and current NXT trainer Robbie Brookside. Corey Graves commented on Brookside bringing the British style of wrestling to the table: "Robbie brings a whole different aspect. That British style that he excels in is different, but just his understanding of wrestling and the way he's able to break things down, theory-wise, is unbelievable. He can show you how to do a basic headlock, or he can show you some insane reversal to the headlock that you never even thought existed. He can literally do anything in-between the ropes."

On the Family:

>“There is no breakup. That’s another thing I’d like to get out there. There’s friction between [Harper & Rowan] and that’s kinda part of the issue, is relinquishing some of that. When the Wyatt Family is needed, the Wyatt Family will always be, and that’s the way I designed it, and that’s the way it will go on for ten, fifteen, who knows how long. The Wyatt Family is far from over, I can assure you of that.”

On Rowan:

>“I’m very proud of [Rowan], sometimes. He’s done some things since we split that I haven’t necessarily agreed with. I’m not so sure he’s a genius with a big IQ, I’m actually a hundred percent sure of that. [Laughs] But Harper is the Intercontinental Champion and that’s exactly where he belongs and why he needed to go out on his own. Because Harper is one of the greatest, most malicious entities in the entire WWE. He should be free to go after things like that.”

Pretty sure I'd be terrified to be in the same country as Minoru Suzuki, I'd turn around and get kicked in the face.

Also, I love his entrance

To win by DQ? You might die. But you will die a winner.

NXT superstar of the year slammy + 2 hour live show on Thursday pretty much guarantees an nxt match on raw

Lock Jaw 12-06-2014 12:57 AM

Random musing/fantasy booking:

Dean Ambrose really should have been in Dolph Ziggler's place at Survivor Series.... Could have made a new star right there.... Also, would have been a great way to cap off and end his feud with The Authority/Rollins. Obviously the Hell in a Cell would have had to have ended in some other screwy way not involving Wyatt.

Instead he is languishing in a feud with Wyatt in which I hope he finally finally gets a big win because it feels like all he has done lately is get relentlessly beat down and then come back... but never gets the decisive victory.

Damian Rey 12-06-2014 01:48 AM

Since the Shield split, I've believed Ambrose is the star of the 3, though Rollins is a close second. He has the it factor, but Vince isn't out of touch and knows the fans don't want Ambrose to get pushed.

I've been preaching the same story for ages now. I refuse to watch Smackdown for the exact same reason.

SlickyTrickyDamon 12-06-2014 05:11 AM

Yeah but people jerk off to the memory of WCW Saturday Night that did the same thing for years? It's not a new thing. Every boo chant was the same for 15 years.

How is their TLC match gonna work? Is it pinfall? What would they put above the ring if not? The lantern?

If they want to put something. I'd put a globe.

It'll be pinfall/submission probably.

Put a globe and if Bray wins he bites a chunk out of it cause "eater of worlds" and whatnot.

XL 12-06-2014 02:56 PM

I think the idea would have been that the winner would have been the first man to "have the whole world in his hands".

I definitely preferred Ziggler in the role. The story was just too good for him. After all the shit he went through, for him to be down 3-1 in the match and come back and be the man who ousted the authority was just fucking beautiful. Plus, not having Ambrose do it keeps the option open for them to bring up the "Ambrose can't beat Rollins" Raven/Dreamer thing down the road and make it a ridiculous long term story. Also, Ambrose is still relatively fresh. He'll have time to reach new levels. Ziggler was overdue for a moment.

Would have been just as perfect for Ambrose after all they have put him through for months and not just the month leading up to the event.

As for the long term story thing... Those don't exist.

Also Ambrose still being fresh is a reason why I would have put him in instead of Ziggler. No doubt it was cool beyond belief to see Dolph in that position. However he has been jerked around for so long that it is quickly going to amount to nothing. Ambrose hasn't been jerked around too much yet, so it would have continued his shooting momentum.
