Apparently, Morrison said in an interview last month that he left the WWE "on really good terms with everybody" and that "the door is open to go back”.
I get the feeling that if he does return, it won't be for quite some time and his return will be reminiscent of D'Lo Brown's 2008 return. Some people will know who he is, but not a lot of people would really care. :-\ |

Morrison came off as a guy who had a shitload of talent but it was all cancelled out by seemingly no motivation. At some point he decided to just kinda start coasting through. It's sad. So much potential.

Didn't help near the end of his tenure Melina was supposedly causing a lot of resentment backstage to the point it probably was killing any pushes or considerations to push him. The worst was probably the Mania spat Melina caused and him not being comfortable with Trish Stratus as a result.
Seemed like that was the instance he wasn't able to recover from and Kofi replacing him as the guy who would provide the high risk OMG quality moves in a match. |

Its been, maybe 2 years since WWE did a house show here and I just found out they're coming back June 9th..but well after the tix went on sale, but its a good thing cause the onsale date for tix to Smackdown taping in Baltimore on 6/19 is next saturday. Funny thing is they want $100 for the ringside tix to the Smackdown only house show, and thats about what decent seats to the Smackdown taping are. If I remember right, the last time they were here ringside seats were 60 bucks..$100 for a SD only house show is outright insane.

Thats really the terriable thing about TNA. They've got all kinds of talent from the indies, some people that can still cut a promo, or phone in a match that are legends, the matches themselves, can be really good, but they can't get it togather.
And I don't really enjoy ROH when I watch it but there are alot of people that do. I kinda wish ROH was in the spot with weekly cable that TNA is. They offer a completely different product in the same genre. They have at least proven they can keep shit going. The only way I can really see the WWE getting better is if there not the only game in town. They need someone completely outside of them to push them. CHIKRA is too niche, and PWG still needs a massive level of growth. The sad thing about ROH is they can't be like ECW. ECW was edgy and new, no one saw barbed wire before. Unless you were a VHS tape junkie and got stuff from FMW, or IWA. Going back to a very cut and clean style doesn't get over like the ECW stuff did. And even ECW had help from the WWE cause at least someone saw what was coming. You can't say that about ROH. Kinda drunk and rambled. |

Fortunately WWE has SOME beacons of light to make the stuff like that bearable. Also, they've earned the ability to not put on stellar shows regularly.

If they have cause or not, I would just write it off as TNA being TNA. |

It all comes down to them coming up with an idea that only constitutes a beginning and then just letting it trail off because they can't think of an end. But they start the storyline anyway, maybe have some peaks and valleys (like with Cena/Eve/Ryder) but can never come up with an end.
Seriously, its like a really basic amateur writing issue. And these guys are PROFESSIONALS getting paid tons and succumb to it on a regular basis. I don't get it. |
I remember it used to bug me during the attitude era when guys would randomly disappear mid way through an angle without explanation,only later i noticed they were in ECW or WCW as someone else.
