RIP Pike.

Seanny One Ball 09-26-2021 06:51 AM

John Mcafee thought someone poisoned his dogs.

That’s about it really.

R.I.P. McAfee, killed by Scott Norton’s Auntie’s Virus.

I've been enjoying the show :-\

4 eps into Midnight Mass. Really good so far.

Frank Drebin 09-26-2021 06:32 PM

As soon as I saw the old lady I thought

SPOILER: show
How hot is the actress in the old lady makeup going to be in either a flashback scene or when she de-ages? Answer? Very.

Wow. Pretty enjoyable.

Lock Jaw 09-26-2021 09:08 PM

3 episodes left in the final season of Lucifer.....

Seanny One Ball 09-27-2021 01:43 AM

Latest season of “What We Do In The Shadows” is possibly the funniest yet.
I don’t even know anymore and I don’t think it matters. It’s so funny it actually makes me sit back in awe of the quality.
There is almost no relief.

While it was occasionally slow times it really ended up worth it in the end. Some terrific and touching scenes, top notch writing. Good series.

Sepholio 09-27-2021 12:02 PM

Watching Into The Night now.

Lock Jaw 09-29-2021 11:15 PM

Watched the second to last episode of Lucifer.... feeling emotional...... gonna watch the last episode now

RP 09-29-2021 11:18 PM

I watched The Comey Rule on Netflix. Really really good. Brendan Gleeson is an incredible Trump.

Lock Jaw 09-30-2021 12:18 AM

Watched the last episode of Lucifer.... damn

Don't want the show to be over.....

Glad that Netflix saved it for the extra 3 seasons.... (Although I think S3 with Tom Welling was still the best one)

El Vaquero de Infierno 09-30-2021 12:29 PM

Finished the final season of Goliath. Billy Bob is as watchable as ever, but it is definitely not the strongest of the seasons.

El Vaquero de Infierno 10-02-2021 04:01 PM

I've just finished Wolf Hall, which is a BBC drama from around 5-6 years ago that revolves around the rise and fall of Anne Boleyn. It is a well-known and often told story, but it was interesting to see it from the perspective of Thomas Cromwell, and Mark Rylance does a great job in that role. It is a fairly sombre show, but instead of pushing you away as a result, it kind of pulls you in.

Sepholio 10-02-2021 10:00 PM

Wow. Squid Game def lived up to the hype.

Lock Jaw 10-03-2021 12:55 AM

Finished off the season of Legends of Tomorrow... apparently the new season starts already in a week or two....

screech 10-04-2021 05:58 AM

Finished Brooklyn Nine-Nine yesterday. Loved it.

Frank Drebin 10-05-2021 08:31 PM

Just finished episode 6 of Squid Game. Feeling Skeletor levels of "emotional" rn.

ClockShot 10-11-2021 07:03 AM

Started watching Shadow & Bone on Netflix.

It's alright. But I think they're doing a better job with Witcher.

El Vaquero de Infierno 10-13-2021 04:40 PM

I've watched a couple of somewhat-old series as of late.

I recently watched the first two seasons of the old ITV sci-fi, Primeval (I believe there was an American version of it as well). As it is around 15 years old, the graphics don't particularly hold-up, but solid enough. Sadly, the other seasons are not on the Brit-box channel, so I'll have to wait until they are to watch them.

I have also just finished the two seasons of The Forsyte Saga (2002). It is kind of like Downton Abbey, but instead of revolving around an aristocratic family, it centres around a upper-middle class family instead. Actually, it is far superior to Downton, mostly thanks to Damien Lewis.

I'm coming to the end of season 5 of 30 Rock as well.

I need to decide what series I'm going to watch next. I've watched a couple of episodes from the original Magnum P.I. series, and I'll probably continue with that. Season 6 of Fear the Walking Dead is now on Prime, so I may watch that, though I don't feel particularly inclined to return to TWD universe; that time has kind of past now.

Seanny One Ball 10-13-2021 07:34 PM

You should watch “Foundation”.
I can link you if you want. It is a feast for the eyes.

Seanny One Ball 10-13-2021 07:37 PM

Watching “Squid Game” due to mob mentality.

Yeah ok it’s pretty good.
Jeez.

Seanny One Ball 10-13-2021 08:56 PM

The honeycomb game is one of the most tense things I have ever seen on TV...

Lead actor is damned charismatic.

Seanny One Ball 10-13-2021 08:59 PM

Fucked up... I definitely would have picked the umbrella...

Seanny One Ball 10-13-2021 09:02 PM

How did this turn into a comedy by the end?!

Seanny One Ball 10-13-2021 09:05 PM

Nope, back to fucked up horror

Tom Guycott 10-13-2021 11:18 PM

Started in on the fresh eps of Leverage:Redemption. Here's hoping Noah shitcans that "Louisiana" accent for good.

Seanny One Ball 10-13-2021 11:42 PM

Going to watch episode 7 before bed...

Squid Game is high level. The only bad thing about it is this incredibly annoying woman who was written, directed and acted to be the most grating presence in a show full of high tension scenarios that don’t require an annoying bitch in the foreground.

Seanny One Ball 10-13-2021 11:57 PM

Episode 7 veering into “not good” territory with some awful hammy acting from some poorly represented VIPA’s.

Inexcusable choice there. That’s dreadful stuff. It’s like it came from a completely different show. Whoever is responsible for that part does not like America...or nuance...

Seanny One Ball 10-14-2021 12:00 AM

Too many 69 comments in too short a time.

Why is this happening...

Seanny One Ball 10-14-2021 12:09 AM

LOL

The look that guy gave him is pure comedy gold.

Fignuts 10-14-2021 06:51 PM

Yeah the VIPs almost ruined it for me. It's like a bad anime dub. A bad anime dub from the 90's.

Seanny One Ball 10-14-2021 07:20 PM

They were terrible.

Still, it ended pretty well.

Frank Drebin 10-16-2021 02:12 AM

Probably the best TV of the year even with some *imo* minor flaws.

Dat marbles episode....

Seanny One Ball 10-16-2021 05:47 AM

The bit where the guy begs to go first and the subsequent look he gives Gi-Hun when he realises how fucked he is is magnificent dark comedy.
One of the funniest moments ever in drama.

The VIPs ruined the immersion to an extent. Who wrote the dialogues?
