SmackDown!: May 11, 2040
Going to try doing this without copying and pasting the match reports. Opening Match: Alexander Piero vs. Jerome McDougal Another match designed to put some experience and wins under the belt of Piero. He gets the pinfall victory after hitting the Flashpoint. ****1/2, 87% overall. Fantasee is backstage with Frankie. They're looking forward to seeing Carmella Costello get slapped around tonight. Brandon Reigns comes out to talk about how there's a massive buzz about what's going to go down in the main event at Judgment Day. Will Carmichael pull it off one more time? Will Butch Fleming make the most of his return and reclaim the Unified World Title? Those seem to be the questions people are asking. Wouldn't it be something, though, if a certain someone, with a certain contract, were to head down to the ring on that night and just ruin everyone's fun? There's a new 'wild card' that people need to be watching out for because everything that's happened so far, especially to what happened to Jake Connelly is only the beginning. He's willing to prove it, too, and offers another open challenge for the main event tonight? So who wants to give it a go? After a brief wait, the music of Ryan Pattillo hits! Ryan Pattillo wants Reigns to know that he gets it. You get a few amazing nights, you're riding an incredible high, and you think the world is at your fingertips. Pattillo has been there. But Reigns can't continue on under the belief that those nights are going to keep coming easily. "What you did to Jake Connelly wasn't a sign of strength. All it did was ensure that you get remembered for being an ungrateful, arrogant sack of crap. So let me be the one to show you tonight that the future isn't guaranteed!" Reigns looks to offer a rebuttal. "Strong words from someone who hasn't held a championship in almost two years. Hey, I've got no problem cashing my checks. You want a piece? I'll see you out here later tonight." Second Match: The Southern Gentlemen vs. The Play Pals A really hot match here as both teams have found their respective grooves. The Play Pals have been named as one of the top teams that might be getting a shot at the tag team titles. They prove themselves here as Gavin Jones gets the pin on Brody Lee for the win. *****, 96% overall. Michael Hotbody is backstage, visiting Lisa Benton. He wants to thank her for making his rematch against Jordan Demiras official at Judgment Day and is especially giddy about the fact the Cruiserweight Title is on the line. It was owed to him after Demiras showed his true colors at Backlash and got himself disqualified like the unstable coward that he is. Oh, and then he had to go and get himself counted out against Jason Sorola on Superstars last night. "Gosh, it's such a shame that he's already at two title matches where he's retained the title despite losing. Man, it would be something if he went off the deep again one more time, like say, during our match at JUdgment Day. Then you, as the boss would have the unfortunate but necessary task of stripping Jordan Demiras of the championship. And between you and me, I think he's really close to snapping." Benton calmly replies by agreeing that it would be a shame if that match ended the way Hotbody described. Which is why she is making that match FALLS COUNT ANYWHERE. Benton goes on her way leaving Hotbody speechless. Third Match: Vivian Merrick vs. Faith Connors Vivian Merrick demanded this match as a way of trying to get some attention for a title match against Braddock. This is quite the back and forth affair but suddenly Hannah McCormick of all people comes down and nails Faith from behind and begins to assault her. Sonya Braddock looks to come down to even the odds and we get a staredown between the two pairs of women. *****, 95% overall. I'm choking on all these stars. Fourth Match: The Wolves of Wall Street (Doyle Hughes and Emilio London) vs. The British Infection (Adrian Gallagher and Nate Exley) Another hot evenly contested match. The Brits get the pin after nailing Hughes with the Queen's English. Afterwards, Adrian promises everyone that there's a big surprise coming soon from the British Infection. Another ***** match, 95% overall. We get a promo from Haven who has some serious words for Zed Jones. Zed's decisions are his own but to come to the conclusion that being a lackey for other people's deeds, that will be his undoing. Ruin is what awaits in the future of Zed Jones if he continues on this path. Fifth Match: Frankie vs. Carmella Costello The first one-on-one encounter in this little feud is quite the affair. Frankie looks to be coming into her own here. Costello's manager, Brooke, however, earns her keep by making a scene allowing Costello to take advantage and land the Defaminator off the top for the pin. ****1/2, 91% overall. We get Xavier Cross in the ring looking upset. It's been days upon days upon days and he hasn't received a single apology from anyone regarding being accused of being behind the attacks on Noah Carmichael and Haven. Kerry Cemenko made a mockery of Cross' feelings! He's only human, you know! However, he's not irrational. He's willing to let bygones be bygones if he gets an apology from just one particular person...NOAH CARMICHAEL! Cross DEMANDS that the champion make himself known. Butch Fleming decides to answer the call and lets Cross know that he should get used to being disappointed in Noah Carmichael because that's all he ever gives anyone who puts faith in him! Fleming should know. Carmichael had all of the trust Fleming could ever give someone and he flushed it all away. The people here tonight and those watching at home should take heed because Carmichael is fixing to disappoint all of them because at Judgment Day, the little play world that Carmichael has built for himself goes up in flames at the hands of Butch Fleming. Carmichael has apparently heard enough of this and decides to head down to the ring. Fleming takes no chances and begins assaulting the champion. Cross looks like he wants to get involved but here comes Kerry Cemenko to the rescue. The heels get driven off for now. MAIN EVENT: Ryan Pattillo vs. WWE Intercontinental Champion Brandon Reigns Reigns has a different aura about him here as he just radiates utter disdain for Pattillo. They have themselves a hot back-and-forth match designed to make Reigns look good. It's topped off with Reigns managing to lock in the Iron Reign to get the submission. Wow! That's a huge notch on the belt of Reigns, being able to go over a former world champion. Reigns celebrates with his championship and briefcase as we go off the air. *****, 94% 90% overall show rating. |
Even though your whole roster is highly skilled, I have to figure the crowd reaction is bringing everything to the next level. Every crowd is like ECW One Night Stand 2005 level hot for everything and it's glorious.
I'm all for the eventual Brandon Reigns title run. Would you allow someone to be a dual champion with the top belts? |
Quote:
And, yeah, the crowd has just been eating up this stuff. I like to imagine my guys getting over organically as opposed to being scripted eight ways from Sunday. I even sometimes *gasp* let the heels say or do something that hurts people's feelings! |
Yeah it’s great for heel heat. A dual champion who will only agree to put one and only one belt on the line at a time.

AEW Dark: February 23, 2021:
-The Dark Order (Evil Uno and Stu Grayson) def. Chaos Project -"Rock Hard" Jake Hager def. Michael Nakazawa -Serena Deeb def. Emi Sakura -Rey Fenix def. Sammy Guevara -Hikaru Shida def. Allie AEW Dynamite: February 24, 2021 We open up with a good old fashioned contract signing for Saturday's AEW World Heavyweight Title match between Kenny Omega and PAC. As we know, contract signings don't go well. The Good Brothers hop in and jump PAC, Rey Fenix runs in to help his Death Triangle brethren. Kenny gets a belt shot on PAC while Rey Fenix gets Magic Killer'd through the table by the Good Brothers.87% overall First Match: Jurassic Express and FTR resume their rivalry with another singles match between team members. Two weeks ago, Cash Wheeler noped out mid-match against Luchasaurus and this week Dax Harwood did the same. As soon as Luchasaurus got his momentum, Dax signaled to the back as Cash ran in for the DQ. Jungle Boy rushes out for the save and we may as well do our next match right now! **3/4, 71% overall Second Match: Jungle Boy vs. Cash Wheeler to complete the teams' recent pairing off in singles matches. Jungle Boy had a standout performance winning a great match over Dax Harwood last month. This match wasn't quite at the same level but it was still a quality TV match. Luchasaurus kept Dax at bay as Jungle Boy grabbed a win. Jurassic Express are now 4-0 in their singles match series with FTR, FTR will get to go back to what they do best in tag action on Saturday. **3/4, 69% overall Team Taz deliver their closing remarks ahead of their street fight against Darby Allin and Sting this Saturday. That is, if Sting hasn't taken last week's ambush as a sign that he needs to go back to retirement. The lights go out, a loud smack can be heard, and when they're back on - Powerhouse Hobbs has been left laying, busted wide open with Darby Allin's skateboard laying next to his head. Well that will prevent Hobbs from turning Saturday's street fight into a handicap match. 78% overall Third Match: Ahead of his match against Cody Rhodes on Saturday, Eddie Kingston faces off against Dustin Rhodes. The two have a real old school wrasslin' brawl, slugging the shit out of each other. Sliding D puts Dustin down for the count. Kingston continues to pound away on Dustin before Cody rushes the ring to run Kingston off. ***, 75% overall The Young Bucks bump into Santana and Ortiz backstage, who they'll be meeting in 8-man tag action later tonight. The Bucks basically tried to needle the ongoing dissension amount the Inner Circle, pointing out how close they came to beating them two weeks ago before Jericho and MJF cost them the win. They're way too good to be second fiddle to them. 85% overall Matt Hardy and "Hangman" Adam Page had been shown at the bar numerous times throughout the night, Matt doing most of the talking. The mics picked up him continuing to trash The Dark Order who Hangman had a hard time declining a month ago. Hardy produces a contract for him to join The Matt Hardy Brand. Hangman takes a long look at it, but he can't go through with it. He's still not ready to join a group. Matt had a feeling he might feel that way, and he's a big believer in actions speaking louder than words, so he'd rather show how great they could be together. Which is why he talked to Tony Khan and got them booked in a match for Saturday...against The Dark Order! 80% overall Fourth Match: Women's champion Hikaru Shida and fellow Japanese competitor Riho faced off against Awesome Kong and her former partner in the Nightmare Collective, Mel. Just imagining Riho vs. Kong.....poor Riho would get ragdolled so badly. In any event, I imagine she is always able to tag out and Kong always leaves when Shida tags in, not because she's afraid, but because she's smart enough to wait until Saturday and not give anything away. Shida locks in a Full Metal Muffler on Mel and stares down Kong on the outside as Mel taps. **3/4, 68% Miro and Kip Sabian were on their way to the ring to squash some developmental guys, but they never made it as Orange Cassidy came out of nowhere and cracked Sabian with a chair on the rampway! Orange is out for revenge to defend his Best Friends, this is a side of Orange Cassidy we've never seen before. He and Miro brawl and have to be pulled apart. 91% overall.....Miro and Orange = ratings Main Event: It's The Inner Circle (Chris Jericho, MJF, Santana, and Ortiz) vs. The Elite (Young Bucks and Good Brothers) for some 8 man tag goodness. Inner Circle bickered a bit early on but eventually started to work together cohesively. The Elite were doing well for themselves until Rey Fenix showed up on the rampway, carrying a table under his arm. The Good Brothers immediately left their post to go take him out, only for the music of Jon Moxley to hit as he emerges from the crowd and they start brawling on the rampway. With the Good Brothers having completely fucked off leaving their partners high and dry, the Young Bucks were at a 4 on 2 disadvantage. They fought hard and valiantly, but could never get a pin without somebody being around to break it up. Jericho and MJF fighting with Matt Jackson on the outside, Santana and Ortiz inside the ring start to line Nick Jackson up for the Street Sweeper. Before they can hit the move, Jericho pops onto the apron, tags himself in, Judas Effect on Nick to get the triumphant pinfall for Inner Circle! ***, 77% Before going off the air, we cut backstage and see The Good Brothers and Moxley/Fenix are brawling. The Good Brothers are stacked atop each other and Fenix leaps off a few crates to smash through both of them! [B]70% overall 76% show rating --- Happy with the episode and although I had to rush the Revolution build I think it should end up being a good show. That main event segment though....oops. I caused Mox to lose overness, probably because The Good Brothers are in the low 70s for overness while Mox is like a 90. This is kinda a placeholder show for him. |

Raw: May 14, 2040
Opening Match: The British Infection vs. The Millennium Rebels The Infection promised some sort of surprise for us but I guess they're going to make us wait a bit on that. A hot opener where it looks like Adrian Gallagher has this well in hand but the manager of the Rebels, Aaron Ramsey, jumps him for the DQ. It looks like a three on one situation but the scene is joined by somebody running down the aisle who helps the Infection fight off the odds. Who is this person? After the ring is cleared of the heels, the Infection's manager, Fantasee, introduces this new face as the younger brother of Adrian Gallagher, as well as her newest client, Nigel Gallagher! *****, 95% overall. Second Match: Azazel vs. Mathias Truth be told, I'm getting such awesome results from everyone else, these guys seem like dead weight and I'm debating keeping them around. Anyway, it's a heavyweight slugfest that ends with Azazel's manager, Vivian Merrick getting involved, allowing Azazel to hit the Demonator for the pin. Vivian makes threats to Sonya Braddock into the camera. ****1/2, 89% overall. Hannah McCormick is backstage and wants to clue us all in as to why she attacked Faith Connors last week. All of this talk about a Queen of Queens match and NOBODY considered inviting her, undoubtedly the best Queen of the Ring of all time. She demands to be added to the match at Judgment Day so that everyone can witness her superiority. Third Match: Ryan Pattillo and Seth Von Kamp vs. Chris Collins and Moses McKay We learn that we'll be getting McKay vs. Von Kamp one more time on SmackDown! in a No DQ match. Maybe that will finally settle things between them. This is an evenly matched contest that ends with Pattillo recovering from his defeat to Brandon Reigns by pinning Collins with the Shutdown. *****, 94% overall. Fourth Match: WWE Intercontinental Champion Brandon Reigns vs. Conner Buchanan Speaking of Reigns, he continues his winning ways here as he just may be right about not needing anyone by his side. After getting the submission win with the Iron Reign, however, Reigns gets jumped by an angry Jake Connelly, who was betrayed last week! They have themselves a brawl that needs to be stopped by officials. *****. 94% overall. The WWE Unified World Champion Noah Carmichael joins us in the ring and wants us all to go down memory lane with him. "Is it true that I stood by the side of Butch Fleming for years? Yes. It was my understanding that he held the key to unlocking opportunities. Unfortunately it turned out that really, it was Fleming who looked towards me for that key as he added more and more people to prop him up. I saw a way out and I took it and despite the punishments that I've received for making that decision I still regret nothing. Look at what I'm holding in my hands here! Don't think for a second that Butch Fleming's hurt feelings and temper tantrums keep me up at night because these belts are all the proof I need that made the right decision! So Fleming can cry himself a river and use it to get to Judgment Day because I'm sending his ass right back where it came from without a paddle!" Unfortunately, just as Carmichael finishes, Butch Fleming himself sneaks up from behind to lay out the champion with a chair shot to the back. He adds in a few stomps for the fun of it and decides to grab the title belts and raise them up in triumph. Fifth Match: Tania and Frankie vs. Billie Padgett and Carmella Costello Two separate feuds are united into one match here. This will hopefully give CiCi and Frankie some experience and overness. It comes down to an all out brawl where Padgett manages to lay out Tania and beat the count for the win. ****1/2, 90% overall. Backstage Kyle Jacobs is on the phone, apparently with his dad but is interrupted by Brooke. She understands that Jacobs has been lobbying for a one-on-one rematch for the Intercontinental Title against Brandon Reigns. It's not going to happen because Salvatore Scabbia deserves his shot after having the belt stolen from him. Kyle tells Brooke that she has a lot of nerve even getting in face considering all of the drama that's been going on. As far as Scabbia goes, he can take Kyle's shot at the title over his own dead body. Brooke proposes facing Scabbia one more time at Judgment Day to determine who gets the one-on-one title shot. Jacobs isn't happy with the idea but any excuse to get his hands on Scabbia is a good one. He accepts. Sixth Match: Michael Haywood vs. Julian Merrick Haywood and Gavin Jones have been lobbying for a title match against the tag team champions for the past week and the champions have offered this match as a way to prove themselves. Vivian Merrick looks to try to hand her brother a foreign object to help him win but Sonya Braddock comes out and surprises Vivian. Vivian wastes time focusing her attention on Braddock that Michael Haywood is able to grab the foreign object out of her hand and use it himself to get the win. Both Merricks are furious afterwards as Braddock just smiles. ****1/2, 92% overall Seventh Match: Jenna Kyle vs. Missy Brantley Naomi Bailey is out here to observe and Jenna keeps giving her dirty looks. Naomi tries to get involved but Jenna repeatedly refuses her help. She's able to hit the Kyle Driver for the pinfall win. *****, 95% overall. MAIN EVENT: Xavier Cross, The Cruiserweight Champion-Elect Michael Hotbody, and Zed Jones vs. Kerry Cemenko, WWE Cruiserweight Champion Jordan Demiras, and Haven Quite the intersection of personal issues here. It's a hard fought encounter and in the end it's "Katy, bar the door" time as everything breaks down. Zed Jones manages to plant Haven through a table in time to help Michael Hotbody from suffering the wrath of Jordan Demiras as Jones knocks the Cruiserweight Champion off the top rope, enabling Hotbody to steal a pin. ****1/2, 91% overall Overall show rating: 92% |

Yeah, I never had any plans to make the Gallaghers a team. Adrian and Exley gel really well and the cruiserweight division always needs more people. I'll probably use Crockett and LaPaige to give him some early wins to raise his over rating before really tossing him into the deep end. There are a lot of guys not doing anything with whom I can saddle him.
I honestly think I'm going to cause the game to have an orgasm and just break down if I do Faith vs. Jenna at this rate. Their encounters in 3.0 were solid as fuck but 4.2 seems to be a bit more generous, so who knows? Cross your fingers for a ****** match. I usually go that route in terms of the main even by sticking multiple feuds in one match. It frees up a lot of segments and it helps with rotating people in terms of who gets the main event slot. Like, when was the last time a Cruiserweight champion main evented a Raw. Also I'm going to see if I can actually change Hotbody's name to include Cruiserweight Champion-Elect. I should probably post the card so far for Judgment Day: WWE Unified World Title: Noah Carmichael (c) vs. Butch Fleming WWE Cruiserweight Title: Jordan Demiras (c) vs. The Cruiserweight Champion-Elect Michael Hotbody Queen of Queens Match: Naomi Bailey vs. Faith Connors vs. Jenna Kyle Number One Contender Match for the Intercontinental Title: Salvatore Scabbia vs. Kyle Jacobs I'm curious how the first big event I hold goes down on 4.2. It had better not be a dud. |
A dud show with that card would be like 90%, stacked

AEW is doing a women's tournament with half of the bracket being filmed in Japan featuring women from all the different joshi promotions out there. Might have to see if any are worth signing in-game.
Either way, this got a kick out of me. <blockquote class="twitter-tweet"><p lang="en" dir="ltr">There are two ways to introduce yourself to a new wrestling audience <a href="https://t.co/Cgm7e55j92">pic.twitter.com/Cgm7e55j92</a></p>— The Bronson Corporation, But Cold (@BronsonLee) <a href="https://twitter.com/BronsonLee/status/1357159683145019392?ref_src=twsrc%5Etfw">February 4, 2021</a></blockquote> <script async src="https://platform.twitter.com/widgets.js" charset="utf-8"></script> |

Sadly, I am not able to completely rename Michael Hotbody to include his rightfully earned office and title. Just more evidence of the SHAM BIAS permeating the WWE!

Yeah I'm not surprised there is a character limit, although it accommodates most.
Former CHIKARA performer Dash Hatfield is in the latest database with his new ring name: A Very Good Professional Wrestler |
Revolution Card:
AEW World Championship: "The Bastard" PAC vs. "The Cleaner" Kenny Omega (C) AEW World Tag Team Championships: The Inner Circle ("The Demo God" Chris Jericho and MJF) vs. The Young Bucks (Matt Jackson and Nick Jackson) (C) AEW Women's World Championship: Awesome Kong vs. Hikaru Shida (C) Street Fight: Team Taz ("The Machine" Brian Cage and "Absolute" Ricky Starks) vs. TNT champion Darby Allin and Sting Tables Match: Jon Moxley and Rey Fenix vs. The Good Brothers (Doc Gallows and Karl Anderson) "Freshly Squeezed" Orange Cassidy vs. "The Best Man" Miro "The Mad King" Eddie Kingston vs. "The American Nightmare" Cody Rhodes "Hangman" Adam Page and "Big Money" Matt Hardy vs. The Dark Order (Evil Uno and Stu Grayson) Buy-In Match: FTR (Dax Harwood and Cash Wheeler) vs. Jurassic Express (Jungle Boy and Luchasaurus) --- I feel like overness issues with some guys will lower the show a bit more than I'd like but quality wise I think there should be a lot of good stuff in here. Originally I had penciled in Hangman vs. Matt straight up but even knowing I had to rush things to build this show I didn't think it made sense to jump there so quick, I'm so far removed from booking feuds it will be interested in seeing if it breaks the in-game feud system to have two feuding guys on the same team. |
Tables match will be fire.
Sincerely hope that MJF and Jericho do NOT win, despite not really liking the Bucks. Jericho just needs to stop. It'd be better if this is the culmination of he and MJF's tension and MJF screws over Jericho, then that program can evolve. I have no idea how long its been building. PAC is so good. Omega hasn't looked AS good recently, but those two should have a great match. Death Triangle is my new fav team. |
Seeing Jericho/MJF vs. the Bucks become a reality on Dynamite last night popped me because I didn't think it was the route they would actually go. But yeah, I think the ongoing dissention of Inner Circle is the real story. I haven't yet decided the fate of Inner Circle, in real life it seems like the entire thing might implode as opposed to everyone rallying behind one leader.
My card is at least pretty close to what will happen in real life. Probably swap Mox and PAC's spots. No sign at all that Kong will return at all, let alone right off the bat like I did. And of course I retconned the Cody/Jade/Shaq angle as I have no interest in it. In real life it'll likely be an Orange/Chuck vs. Miro/Kip tag match instead of singles. Actually have no idea how an Orange/Miro singles match would go. I love OC but even I can admit, if Miro's meant to be a killer, he should probably destroy him. Even the whole "hidden mean streak" think I'm doing with OC I think people would point out that a scrawny guy like OC shouldn't be able to hang with a brick shithouse like Miro. But suppose that's the benefit of it being a game, don't have to go too crazy with realism. |

Superstars: May 17, 2040
We open with Jake Connelly addressing the crowd fresh off his return on Raw. "I'm sure you're all curious about how I feel regarding Brandon Reigns and what occurred last week. Time catches up with everyone. It's inevitable. I had thought it to be the case with me when I didn't make it to WrestleMania this year and had to watch a younger man bask in that glory. I wondered if I had indeed arrived at the end of the road as far as my career went. But I was struck with an epiphany as I saw that my loss on that fateful day wasn't going to be in vain. I had been bested, sure, but Brandon Reigns made it count. He did go on to WrestleMania, he did go on to win Money in the Bank, and he did go on to be viewed as quite possibly the next big superstar in this business. Now, is it fair to say that I hitched my wagon to this meteoric rise? Maybe, but I knew, I felt it in my heart, that with the right guidance and mentoring, the last big mark I would have left on the wrestling world was helping prepare the brightest future its ever seen in a talent like Brandon Reigns. Then and there, I could've proudly gone off into the sunset, satisfied that you people would be in good hands. Things have changed slightly to say the least. So to answer the question on your mind regarding how I feel well there's really only person that needs to hear it and I really can only tell it to him face to face, so Brandon Reigns get your sorry ass out here, RIGHT NOW!" We have to wait briefly but surely enough the Intercontinental Champion makes him way out to the stage looking furious. "Stick your demands and your feelings up your ass, Connelly," Reigns declares. "I did what I did to make sure you understood the message. All you veterans just can't ever get it through your heads that you don't always make or break the careers of other people. I was doing just fine before you and I'm going to do even better after you. I don't care how mad you are, how disappointed you are, or how hurt you are. You're more than welcome to go try to mentor some other sad sap back there and see how that goes but as far as you and I go, I'm good." Connelly is more than happy to reply. "Oh, I know you're good. You're very good. The question remains, however, is how good? You see, Brandon, I didn't want to share my anger or hurt feelings with you. I wanted to express gratitude. You did the one thing that I don't think anyone could have done for me. You helped me find that last match that I knew I still had deep down inside me. You helped me find that drive that made me what I am today. You helped me rediscover what made my career and it began with that championship you're holding right now. So this is what it comes down to, Mr. I Can Do It On My Own, let's all see you do it on your own by facing me for the Intercontinental Title at Judgment Day or are you going to continue being known as the ingrate that you are?" "No, no, how about I be known as the man who sent you off on that sunset you were talking about earlier? You want to face me for the title? You need to offer something in return because I'm not giving you the satisfaction of trying to be relevant for nothing. You beat me at Judgment Day, you're the champion. I beat you at Judgment Day, you don't ever step in the ring again. How do you feel about that?" Connelly takes a moment to consider this but responds with confidence. "I feel that bright future of yours might not get to see the light of day after all. You're on." It looks like we have another match for Judgment Day! Opening Match: Nigel Gallagher vs. Bill Crockett A way to showcase Nigel in his first match and to give the crowd some decent cruiserweight action to start things off. Nigel takes the win here, getting the pin after hitting the Union Smack. ****1/4, 81% overall. Backstage, Hannah McCormick approaches Jenna Kyle. McCormick breaks down what's been going in regards to the Queen of Queens match at Judgment Day. Naomi Bailey doesn't mind if McCormick is added but Faith doesn't share that sentiment. Both McCormick and Faith are looking for partners for tonight and if McCormick's team wins, she can be added to the match and lucky for Jenna Kyle, McCormick is asking her to be her partner! Jenna takes a deep breath and sighs as she turns to face McCormick. "Here's the part where I shatter your dreams, Hannah. I don't want you in that match either. I've got enough to worry about with Naomi and Faith and it's bad enough that I have to go through them to get a crack at the title. So, thanks, but no thanks. Find someone else to be your sucker." Jenna leaves leaving Hannah dumbstruck. Second Match: Lonny Richards vs. Stanley Coleman Semi-continuing the issue between Richards and Caleb Greene as Lonny is here to go through another client of his former manager, Aphrodite. Richards dominates pretty well on his way to a submission win. Richards and his manager, Nathan Quinn, taunt Greene through the camera. ****1/2, 89% overall. Third Match: The Tokyo Titans (Wu and Tokyo Kid) vs. The Sin City Rollers (Luis Ortega and Vic Gambler) Just some good solid tag team action here to pop the crowd. The Titans get the win here after an even match. *****, 94% overall. Backstage, The Play Pals question the manhood of the Unified Tag Team Champions as they inform us that they have still not heard an answer to their challenge. They note that Sonya Braddock has more balls because word is that she's open to giving Vivian Merrick a title shot. They'll be waiting. Back to the ring, Cameron Harper looks to be on his way for a match but is ambushed by Hugo of all people. He pounds away on Harper leaving him bloodied. He looks into the camera and promises more of this. Fourth Match: Hannah McCormick and ??? vs. Faith Connors and ??? McCormick enters first and announces that she has managed to find a partner for tonight and it's someone who isn't afraid of more competition. It's someone who actually believes in keeping things fair and is open to giving other people opportunities unlike some OTHER people around here. And with that, Hannah gestures to the stage and Naomi Bailey makes her way out to join up with Hannah. Faith follows, making her usual entrance but she has a mic and says that she didn't bother looking for a partner because she's all about defying the odds and it'll be a great preview of what's she's going to do at Judgment Day. Faith hops onto the apron and enters the ring but before the match can begin the music of JENNA KYLE of all people hits and she comes out in her gear looking ready to compete. She climbs the steps and stands in Faith's corner??? Is she volunteering to help Faith make sure Hannah McCormick doesn't join them at Judgment Day? It sure looks that way and away we go.... Fourth Match: Hannah McCormick and Naomi Bailey vs. Faith Connors and Jenna Kyle Connors spends the opening parts of the match hesitant and looking at Jenna with distrust. The match goes on and slowly but surely both Jenna and Faith look like they're on the same page, working as a team the way they used to. It comes down to Jenna looking to put away McCormick while Bailey is just womanhandling Faith on the outside. McCormick's lackey, Bobbi Jo, looks to hand McCormick her custom microphone to use on Jenna but Jenna steals it away from Hannah, knocks Bobbi Jo off the apron and in the heat of the moment KOs Hannah with the mic. Unfortunately the referee sees this and calls for the DQ. It looks like we're getting a four way Queen of Queens match at Judgment Day after all! *****, 97% overall. We return from break with the ring set up for another edition of the Hot Button with the Cruiserweight Champion-Elect Michael Hotbody. He will be taking questions this time around but wants to make it clear that this time, Jordan Demiras is NOT welcome as losers have no place on the Hot Button. He takes a question from one of the press pool members: Is it true that Jordan Demiras cried like the pathetic paper champion that he is following getting beat by Michael Hotbody on Raw? "That's an excellent question and one that you would think could only be answered by Demiras but he'd only lie and try to save face. Luckily, I was standing over his body after I had pinned him and I can tell you that there were indeed tears coming out of him. I think it had something to do with the realization that his time as champion is coming to an end and that he may need his mommy. We'll have to wait and see. Yes, you in the back, you have a question?" "Yes, is it true that you have spent the last couple of days referring to Jordan Demiras as a whiner?" "That is absolutely untrue and a complete misrepresentation of me. I have been referring to him and will continue to refer to him as a whiny little bitch. See, there's a difference and I hope you work to make sure only facts are reported. Next, who else has a question? Yes, you...." "What about the role Zed Jones is playing in your career? Do you see him continuing at your side?" "Hey, look. Zed does Zed. He's his own man. He has plans for his career that don't involve me. I don't know why people like to link us together. It's sick. But I do have a hot news item that should be very interesting and I hope Haven is listening. Zed has informed me that he wants to face Haven at Judgment Day so that it can be seen by everyone that there is nothing Zed is afraid of. The hocus pocus and mind games and what have you have NO BEARING on Zed Jones. In fact, I invite Haven to show himself right now and respond to this challenge. I dare him to come out right now! Come on out here!" Everyone's attention is focused on the stage as they anticipate Haven making himself present. He eventually does after a bit of a way and some more taunting from Hotbody. Haven enters the ring and gets uncomfortably face-to-face with Hotbody. Hotbody doesn't seem too concerned but Haven takes the mic. "Before you get any of your hopes up, allow me to enlighten that empty soul of yours." He directs Hotbody to observe the giant screen which shows Zed Jones lying backstage face down. Haven continues, "You see, I've already accepted his challenge in my own way. I don't take part in the charades of others and I certainly don't get ordered around by pathetic worms like you. Perhaps I should demonstrate first hand what will happen if you decide to make a nuisance of yourself when I'm destroying your companion at Judgment Day?" Hotbody takes a nervous gulp and starts to back away. "Well, uh...sir...Haven...MISTER Haven...You know, that's not really neces..." Hotbody jabs the mic into Haven's face and bails motioning the press pool to do the same. Haven glares at Hotbody as the segment ends. Fifth Match: King Kavovit vs. Stone Walsh Nothing major here. Just a solid match that puts another notch in the belt of Kavovit as he gets the win here. *****, 94% overall. MAIN EVENT: Butch Fleming vs. Kerry Cemenko Before the match, Cemenko informs us that he will be facing Xavier Cross at Judgment Day so we're getting a pretty stacked card next Sunday. Fleming mocks him because that nobody is going to have a better night because Fleming is taking the Unified World Title home. This is a heavyweight slugfest that comes to an end when Xavier Cross interjects, allowing Fleming to hit the Slaughterhouse Special for the win. Cross tries to gloat but Cemenko takes him down and they brawl around the ring. End of show! *****, 94% overall. Overall show rating: 89% |

THE BAR IS RAISED SO HIGH!!! hot damn. And my brain can't process a Jenna/Faith team. |
Sometimes I get writers block doing my show recaps because I'm booking a show in EWR to the closest extent I'm allowed to with the limitations.....then adding all the other details in my recaps, like people interfering in segments when in reality I booked it as a 1 vs 1 angle, etc.

AEW Revolution February 27, 2021 The Buy In: FTR vs. Jurassic Express (Jungle Boy and Luchasaurus) FTR were back to doing what they do best: putting on excellent tag team matches (88% match quality in this one). Even on the buy-in show, this match followed the tried and true tag formula which stands the test of time as long as it's done well...FTR isolate Jungle Boy, eventually he makes the hot tag to Luchasaurus and the big guy runs wild. Tully Blanchard starts to panic and can't help but get involved at ringside, leading to Marko Stunt trying to take the old man down as Cash and Jungle Boy join in on the outside. Luchasaurus has Dax down, but the ref is distracted with the mess outside the ring. Then - CRACK - Shawn Spears comes out of nowhere to waffle Luchasaurus in the back with a chair! Cash slides back in, FTR hit the Big Rig and Dax gets the pin. A former client of Tully Blanchard, we haven't seen Spears in two months! What is the meaning of this? Winners: FTR ***1/4, 78% overall "Hangman" Adam Page and Matt Hardy vs. The Dark Order (Evil Uno and Stu Grayson) Hangman didn't ask for this match, Hangman didn't want this match, but Matt Hardy pulled some strings and it is so. The story of the match was the difference in approach: Hangman fighting a fair fight and Matt resorting to cheap tactics. Matt is of course completely oblivious to the fact that Hangman is not impressed with his antics, while Matt assumes Hangman wants to win at all costs. Finish eventually comes with Grayson out of the ring, Uno ducks a Buckshot Lariat, Matt quickly pushes Hangman into the ref, hits a low blow on Uno, and rolls him up with a tight hook for the cheap win. Matt Hardy and Private Party celebrate as Hangman's all WTF was that. The Hardy Party start putting the boots to Dark Order for good measure. The rest of Dark Order run out for the save to send the Party scrambling. Dark Order look at Hangman disappointingly before leaving, leaving Hangman in the ring conflicted. Winners: "Hangman" Adam Page and Matt Hardy ***, 77% overall AEW Women's World Championship: Awesome Kong vs. Hikaru Shida (C) Just seeing this match typed out, man I'd really love to see this one. Hope Kong has one last run in her in real life. Kong's obviously got the size and strength advantage but Shida has the speed and technical ability to try to cut her down. In any event, like I'm gonna bring Kong back and put her into a huge program to lose. Awesome Bomb and Kong has put an end to Shida's 9 month title reign. Kong laughs maniacally and cuts off a lock of Shida's hair as a memento. Winner and NEW AEW Women's World Champion: Awesome Kong **3/4, 77% Table Match: The Good Brothers vs. Jon Moxley and Rey Fenix This is another one EWR was downright lazy with in the write-up, apparently making it a quick squash. I don't know about that, but I do think it would be a fast paced, wild brawl that spills around ringside and up the ramp. And I also think both members would have to go through the table before the match can end, and both teams continue to fight until that happens. I already have the spots in mind: Magic Killer on Fenix through a table, Paradigm Shift on Anderson through a table, and Fenix leaping off the stage and crashing through Gallows on a table. A fun, chaotic brawl. Winners: Jon Moxley and Rey Fenix ***1/4, 79% overall Eddie Kingston vs. Cody Rhodes Eddie Kingston made a surprise AEW debut against Cody last July, and now they find themselves doing battle again. Kingston roughs up Cody something wicked but Cody finds his babyface fire before too long. You know wherever Eddie Kingston goes, The Family is sure to follow, and eventually The Butcher and The Blade are out there for the distraction while Allie sneaks in on the other side to kick Cody in the balls - our second dick shot of the night! Allie looks into the camera and blows a kiss into the camera directed to her pregnant former tag partner Brandi Rhodes at home...Backfist to the Future and Eddie Kingston has scored the biggest win of his AEW career! Winner: Eddie Kingston ***, 79% overall Orange Cassidy vs. Miro Again, this match would have such an interesting dynamic in real life. PAC vs. Orange at last year's Revolution might be the closest comp that jumps to mind - a cold badass is unamused with Orange's antics but then finds he underestimated him when he gets going. But in any event, Miro hurt his two Best Friends and Orange is seeing red tonight. I think the crowd would eat this one up and they did in game as well (87% crowd reaction). Ending sequence sees Miro finding himself on the outside, OC has the crowd in the palm of his hands like always, tucks his hands in his pockets for the huge pop and goes for the Suicide Dive only to get a <s>Machka</s> Kick to the head, knocking him out cold. Miro rolls Orange into the ring, locks in the Game Over and the ref seeing him unconscious calls for the bell! Winner: Miro ***, 83% overall Street Fight: Team Taz (Brian Cage and Ricky Starks) vs. Darby Allin and Sting This was a total brawlfest that started outside the arena, migrated its way into a few closed off corridors of the arena, and then finally down the steps and into the ring for the closing sequence. I'm sure none of this was pre-recorded footage to help protect Sting, nope not at all! :shifty: Anyway, it didn't require much more than basic brawling from Sting. The crazy bastard Darby leaps with his skateboard off the top rope and crashes down into Cage who was laid out on the steel steps. Ricky Starks takes a baseball bat shot to the gut, Scorpion Deathdrop, Scorpion Deathlock, and the painted face warriors win! Winners: Darby Allin and Sting **3/4, 73% overall (Crowd Reaction and Match Quality were both 74%. On one hand, a 74% reaction for a legend with 95 overness, not great....of the 4 in the match I think Starks' overness dragged them down considerably. On the other hand, 74% quality is way better than I could've hoped given the circumstances. And hey, Sting didn't hurt himself and his last match didn't have to be getting crippled by Seth Rollins!) AEW World Tag Team Championships: The Inner Circle (Chris Jericho and Maxwell Jacob Friedman) vs. The Young Bucks (C) Oh man, this match delivered in the biggest way and is giving the main event a really tough act to follow. All 4 guys are over so the 94% crowd reaction does not surprise me at all, Jericho and MJF can get pretty much instant heat whenever they want it. But the match quality was 91%, these guys seriously gelled and if the match is this good in real life it's a huge win. Anyway, fast forward to the end of match hijinx when the Bucks start to run wild. Superkick Party to Wardlow off the apron. Matt Jackson planchas him for good measure. MJF grabs Nick, Jericho winds up for the Judas Effect, Nick ducks, Jericho lays out his partner! Superkick to Jericho, the Bucks both hit moonsaults on them and that's all she wrote, Bucks retain! Winners and STILL AEW World Tag Team Champions: The Young Bucks ****1/4, 93% overall AEW World Championship: "The Bastard" PAC vs. Kenny Omega (C) Did I say the main event was going to have a hard act to follow? Spoiler alert: they were definitely up for the challenge. These two have put on absolute clinics in AEW before, and this match was no exception. Their styles are incredibly similar, the chemistry very apparent, an equal blend of hard hitting and high flying all behind the canvas of top notch storytelling. After nearly 30 minutes of brutality, PAC has Kenny right where he wants him, down and positioned in front of the corner. BLACK ARROW! This should be it. 1...2...Don Callis puts Kenny's foot on the rope! The Invisible Hand strikes again! Referee Aubrey Edwards admonishes Callis and ejects him, but not before he left something for Kenny on the other corner of the ring. He's got brass knuckles! Omega cracks PAC in the jaw, not this way! Kenny picks up his lifeless body and hits the One Winged Angel to retain. Winner and STILL AEW World Champion: Kenny Omega *****, 94% overall.......and 100% MATCH QUALITY, holy fuck 83% Overall Show Rating |

Why would the referee send Callis to the back? I didn't see him do anything. But, yeah, seeing that 100% for your match quality feels so sweet whenever it happens. Off to a good start. |
Yeah, Jericho is basically a brawler at this stage which is why I thought his match with Moxley at last year’s Revolution was pretty good, and he had a good one against Orange Cassidy too where it was a good fight. But if he tries to out wrestle someone or do shit he was doing 20 years ago, it doesn’t go so well. The Bucks are speedy spot guys so it feels like a potential styles clash, but it actually blended in game.
Match will be happening in real life, it wasn’t even rumored when I booked it so hey, maybe my match results are feeding directly to Tony Khan. :shifty: The main though...damn. Their stats are so similar I had a hunch they’d have a classic but I didn’t know it’d be 100%. I have each guy’s next feud in mind but I’m still on the fence on which feud should have the belt. Not sure the game’s feud system will allow me to stretch this all the way out to my next actual PPV in May. |
Quote:
|
I could find ways to carry it through my March and April large events since they’re not PPVs, I don’t have to go full bore. But I can’t remember if there’s a limit where Sophie’s gonna be like “OK, the crowd has CENA NUFF of this feud”
|
Nah, I left my Carmichael/Fleming feud on 3.0 at 15 vs. 17 feud points, respectively and it was fine. You only really get shit if you overuse people on one show. It may be different for 4.2 but the safe bet would be to check what Sophie says when a feud is at 7 points per party.
|
That makes a lot of sense now I think about it - I always used to do WWE brand split games and found whenever I had a brand-exclusive PPV, whatever major feud I had on the other brand would suffer. That led to me largely disregarding the feud system entirely, but good to know that minor feuds you can still get away with it.

End of month notes:
Lance Archer, QT Marshall, Pres10 Vance, Riho, and Sting all have 3 months left on their deals, all have been extended. Don Callis, Karl Anderson, and Thunder Rosa all inform me that they're increasing their per appearance rate by 10%. The following birthdays occured this month: Lance Archer (44), Shawn Spears (40), Brian Cage (37), Serpentico (37), Penta El Zero Miedo (36), Aaron Solow (32), Santana (30), Ricky Starks (27), Terrell Hughes (26), Terrence Hughes (26), Baron Black (23), Shawn Dean (23) Around the wrestling world: Gangrel, Kevin Matthews, Phil Atlas, and Yuki Ishikawa have announced that they will retire in a month. --- PWInsider news: AEW is not yet ready to migrate to a monthly PPV model. Right now, officials are happy keeping it to one big PPV event per quarter: Revolution in February, Double or Nothing in May, All Out in August, and Full Gear in November. The fear is that monthly PPVs will drive down demand and make those events feel less special. But recognizing the demand for content to supplement Dynamite, AEW will be holding monthly special events meant to help bridge the gaps between PPV months. The first such event, Blood and Guts, will be held on Saturday, March 27 at the Prudential Center in Newark, NJ. The Prudential Center was meant to receive a special Blood and Guts edition of Dynamite on March 25, 2020 before the COVID-19 pandemic shut everything down and moved Dynamite permanently into the Daily's Place in Jacksonville, FL. Now that the vaccines have come out in rapid speed since February and the world is ready to resume normalcy, AEW decided to give the fans in New Jersey the show they missed. https://upload.wikimedia.org/wikiped...26G_Poster.jpg Blood and Guts was meant to center around a War Games-style match featuring the Inner Circle and The Elite. When plans had to be cancelled, this match instead turned into a Stadium Stampede match in an empty TIAA Bank Stadium at Double or Nothing 2020, bringing the conclusion of the longstanding Inner Circle/Elite rivalry. As most members of the Elite have gone their separate ways, it is not yet known who will compete in this Blood and Guts match, if it will be centered on a stable or if it will feature makeshit teams encompassing multiple storylines at once. |

Funny enough, in my 2015 WWE game I was planning on bringing back the brand split and had the idea of Sting as SmackDown GM. AEW has no formal on-screen authority figure, Tony Khan is acknowledged as the guy who makes decisions but he has no on-screen involvement. I prefer it that way in real life, BUT in terms of a game I think being able to do authority angles now and then might be beneficial, could be a route I go. Quote:
Technically nothing is stopping me from signing Rosa (NWA) or Callis/The Good Brothers (Impact) to full time deals other than trying to keep something mildly realistic at the moment, especially as Callis is an EVP at Impact. That said, Open deals are great for simulating working relationships between companies, and much like real life I think I'll soon be working out a deal to borrow talent from New Japan Pro Wrestling. Quote:
A few months later, Vince said on an investor call "WWE is not going to do blood and guts of things of that nature that our potential competition is doing, and I can't imagine TNT would put up with that kind of content" Fast forward to March 2020, AEW announces a special Blood and Guts edition of Dynamite live on TNT. |
Well I do keep Ian Moore around despite being 53. He has a 97 charisma rating and still has high stats as far as his work rate is concerned. It'd be quite the boost for another promotion to snag him, which is why I don't let him go. I could use him for the authority figure role but Benton is a sentimental favorite. As a side note, I wonder what kind of world the wrestling industry would be if every billionaire in the country just decided to form their own promotion just for shits and giggles.
Yeah, all of my guys are under written contract. I've essentially devastated the market with how stingy I am with my talent. Even the Japan tours are barren. I only mention Braddock because in the game's canon she's capable of tossing me through a wall if she doesn't get her payout. Vince will always be his own worst enemy whenever it comes to the stuff that comes out of his mouth. I think the biggest shock to me in all of that is TNT would even have a wrestling show on air after all of this time. Like, what motivation would they have? |
Time to give Gangrel that last great run.

SmackDown!: May 18, 2040
Opening Match: Nigel Gallagher and The British Infection vs. Jerome McDougal and The Millennium Rebels This is the Brits along with the newly arrived Nigel Gallagher against the crew of Aaron Ramsey in a bit of an extension of what went down on Raw. 6-person tags are always a fun way to kick off a show and this is no different. Aaron Ramsey earns his keep here by taking advantage of the inexperience of Nigel to allow him to fall victim to McDougal's treachery. The heels get the win here via shenanigans. ****1/2, 88% overall. Backstage, Marc Fury is making his way to ring for his scheduled match. However, Hugo blindsides him and just batters him all over the place. The destruction continues apparently. Second Match: Haven vs. L.A. Xander I feel like Haven has been getting the shaft recently so I figure I give him a strong win here. Of course I immediately blow that up by having Zed Jones attack him afterward. Zed doesn't look to happy about what Haven did last night as he beats up Haven. ****1/2, 93% overall. Third Match: Jason Sorola and Romeo Valiente vs. Martyn LaSalle and Ozzy Mandias Intersecting two different rivalries here as we got some awesome cruiserweight action here. Ozzy and LaSalle get a countout win when Valiente decides he's having too rough of a night. ****1/2, 93% overall. Backstage, Faith Connors comes across Jenna Kyle. Faith says that she's not exactly sure how to feel about last night. On one hand, she guesses she should be thankful that Jenna was there for her but on the other, she kind of blew it by getting disqualified. Now they both have to contend with a four way at Judgment Day. Jenna tells Faith to back off because she's not in the mood. Yeah, she screwed up but she doesn't owe Faith anything when it's all said and done. Jenna claims she'll find a way to win anyway because she is the Queen of Queens. Faith lowers her head and sighs. "What happened between us?" she asks. "How did we get here? After all we've been through are we still here at this place just sniping at each other? Look, Judgment Day and how last night ended aside, if I'm being completely honest with you, teaming up was actually....fun. It was a brief glimpse into how things used to be between us before it all went to hell. Can't we at least TRY to get somewhere near there again?" Jenna gets face-to-face with Faith and simply says, "I don't know. But I sure as hell won't be thinking about that at Judgment Day", before taking her leave. Fourth Match: Billie Padgett, Emma Edwards, and Eclypse vs. Jamie Roderick, Lauren Franklyn, and Sarah Moore Giving some of the underutilized women a showcase here while also giving a strong win for Billie Padgett. She hits Moore with the Red Hook for the pin. ****1/2, 91% overall. Fifth Match: WWE Cruiserweight Champion Jordan Demiras vs. Zachary Vale This was supposed to be Marc Fury facing Vale here but Demiras volunteers to step up after Fury got destroyed earlier. Demiras needed a win here after all Hotbody has put him through. Speaking of which, Hotbody screws up a run-in and Demiras capitalizes on it to get the pin on Vale. ****1/2, 90% overall. Backstage, Naomi Bailey meets up with Hannah McCormick and they take turns taking pot shots at Faith and Jenna. They both feel each of them deserve to be called Queen of Queens. Sixth Match: The Dillingers vs. The Academy A way to provide a hot tag team match while also continuing the feud between Kyle Jacobs and Salvatore Scabbia, who gets involved here to help Randy Ellis get the win over Joey Dillinger. Kyle Jacobs runs in to get a piece of Scabbia as things continue to heat up ahead of their match at Judgment Day. *****, 95% overall. Backstage, Butch Fleming wants to rip into Noah Carmichael. Judgment Day is such an appropriate name for next Sunday. The sin of turning your back on Butch Fleming has consequences. Dire consequences. Brutal consequences. A man can get very creative when he has a year to think about the people who have wrong him. MAIN EVENT: No DQ, Seth Von Kamp vs. Moses McKay This will hopefully be the final confrontation to settle things between these two. It's a wild brawl in an extension of the bloody encounter they went through at Backlash. Things come to an end when Seth Von Kamp hits the Collapse of Society for the pin. *****, 95% overall. Raw: May 21, 2040
We're six days away from Judgment Day! We've got a pretty loaded card so far but we're missing a Women's Title match and a Unified Tag Team Title match. Sonya Braddock is out here apparently to address that as she throws shade on Vivian Merrick. Sonya says she is always willing to put her money where her mouth is but expects anyone trying to step up to her to do the same. She calls out Vivian Merrick to the stage so they can hash out a deal. Vivian slowly but surely answers the call in a huff. She has no problem throwing down when the time is right but says that things are going to be done on her terms. This is what Vivian proposes: a six-person match at Judgment Day, with Vivian teaming up with her Unified Tag Team champions, The Future Foundation facing off against Sonya Braddock and the Play Pals. Here's the catch: if Sonya's team wins, Sonya remains Women's Champion and the Play Pals can get their title shot. If Vivian's team wins, Vivian is the new Women's Champion. Sonya boasts about not needing the help but as long as it gives her a chance to shut Vivian up, she'll take it. It's on! First Match: Quentin McDaniels vs. Mathias This is Quentin's first appearance back after his brutal I Quit match at Backlash. Although I have to say it's quite the oversight on my part to have the LOSER of that match back into the thick of things quicker than the winner. Anyways, McDaniels makes the most of his return by securing a hard fought victory after hitting the Great Depression. ****1/2, 91% overall. Second Match: The Play Pals vs. The Wolves of Wall Street Well, the Play Pals have something to look forward to at Judgment Day and they need a strong showing here to prepare for that 6-person match. Both teams here just blow away the crowd with a hell of a performance that ends when Haywood locks in the Rage Quit on London for the tap out. *****, 95% overall. Backstage, Kerry Cemenko and the Unified World Champion Noah Carmichael are being interviewed about tonight's match against their respective opponents, Xavier Cross and Butch Fleming. Cemenko is all about knocking self-absorbed jerks down a peg or two. Who knows? If he's impressive enough, he might even be in line for the Unified World Title. Carmichael tells Cemenko to hold his horses. Surviving tonight is crucial in order to own the night this Sunday. Butch Fleming may be all hot and bothered and fueled by a year's worth of bitterness but Carmichaels knows him better than anyone. Let tonight be the opening act for Judgment Day. Third Match: Jenna Kyle and Faith Connors vs. Hannah McCormick and Bobbi Jo Jenna and Faith are forced together here by order of Lisa Benton. This is a bit of a preview of the Queen of Queens match this Sunday. Once again, Jenna and Faith work well together here despite themselves. It's all for naught though as Naomi Bailey smacks Jenna down when they get face-to-face on the outside for the DQ. They brawl for a while before officials come out to get some control. *****, 94% overall. I'm almost afraid of what's going to be produced in that four way come Judgment Day. Backstage, WWE Cruiserweight Champion Jordan Demiras is up in arms over Michael Hotbody, his challenger this Sunday for the title. Jordan wants to compliment Hotbody for being slick. Hotbody thought he had a plan that was going to give him an easy route to the championship. Hotbody hoped if Jordan was mad enough, furious enough, and maybe just crazy enough, Jordan would end up screwing himself out of the title. Well Hotbody accomplished the first part and it's going to end up biting him in the ass. Fourth Match: Clubber Harris and Chris Collins vs. The Wasteland Haven't really had Collins and Harris doing much so screw it. Let them get a win here. Maybe they'll gel enough to where I get recommended they stay a team which would be interesting. Collins gets the pin on Duke after the Fall From Heaven. *****, 96% overall. It's time to sign the contract for the Intercontinental Title match between Brandon Reigns and his former mentor, Jake Connelly in the middle of the ring. Reigns tells Connelly that this his last chance to back out of this whole mess. Nobody will think any less of him if he does. "It's like everyone keeps talking about, Jake Connelly is the man. He's the myth. He's the legend. Main event after main event. WrestleMania after WrestleMania. Championship after championship. What exactly is there to gain by taking part in this insanity at Judgment Day? Oh, I think I know. It's your wounded pride, isn't it? The mighty ego of The Vision, Jake Connelly, can not stand idly by after it has been bruised, is that right? This is all just an act of vanity. You know it, I know it, and everyone watching knows it. You'll get your Hall of Fame induction. You'll get your name etched into the record books until the end of time as one of the greats. You'll get some fancy schmancy cushy production job. So ultimately it all comes down to vanity and the reality is, for someone like you, with what you're looking to put on the line when you sign that contract against someone like me, that is easily the stupidest motivation to have." Connelly stares a hole into Reigns as the champion wraps up his little speech, not the least bit amused. He takes his own mic and addresses his adversary. "It's funny that you mention vanity because quite frankly, vanity is a pretty stupid motivation for what you did two weeks ago. Now, it can definitely be argued that you are overdue as far as being the top guy is concerned. But if there's one thing I've learned doing this after all of these years, the biggest obstacle to where you want to go is yourself. You see YOUR ego couldn't bear pondering over whatever mishaps or errors in judgment you might have inflicted on yourself so you got yourself a nice little excuse wrapped up and packaged as Jake Connelly standing in your way. Well, I'm going to grant you your wish." Connelly pauses to sign the contract. "I am now officially in your way! And make no mistake, Brandon; the mishap you're going to have at Judgment Day, it's all going to be on me." Reigns looks a tad apprehensive but ultimately puts his name on the dotted line. "It's your career. Don't worry. I'll make the end of it very memorable." With that, he whacks Connelly with the clipboard and we have a brawl on our hands. Connelly looks to have the upper hand and sets up for the Vision Impairment but Reigns counters with a shot to the face with the Money in the Bank briefcase. Reigns takes his leave as Connelly is down and out. Fifth Match: WWE Cruiserweight Champion-Elect Michael Hotbody and Zed Jones vs. Shawn Dangerson and Josh Turmell Hotbody and Jones have their hands full this Sunday and they have themselves an impressive outing here. Hotbody hits Dangerson with the Hot Ticket to pick up the win for his team and to BUILD MOMENTUM! Haven appears on screen and threatens Zed Jones by suggesting Judgment Day will be a wake up call inviting him to the beautiful hell that is in store. ****1/2, 91% overall. Sixth Match: Kyle Jacobs vs. Lonny Richards Jacobs is looking to BUILD MOMENTUM for Judgment Day as he's got Salvatore Scabbia in his sights. Richards uses this match to try to get himself over and dominates for the most part. The end comes when Scabbia drags Kyle out to smack him around for the DQ. Richards is still in the ring trying to gain his bearings when Caleb Greene makes his return to try to get a measure of revenge on his former partner. We've got a double brawl on our hands! ****1/2, 92% overall. MAIN EVENT: WWE Unified World Champion Noah Carmichael and Kerry Cemenko vs. Butch Fleming and Xavier Cross It's the last Raw before Judgment Day so naturally all four men are interested in making an impact to gain some measure of an advantage. It's not so much a tag match as it is a clashing of stubborn, uncontrollable forces. Ultimately, Cross uses one of the Unified World Title championship belts to KO Cemenko and he gets the pin for his team. Fleming uses the other belt to lay out Carmichael on the outside. Both the heels play to the crowd as they head up the ramp in victory. *****, 94% overall. Overall show rating: 91% |

Although it does bring up a point - you have such a loaded women's roster, you legit could pull off a women's tag division so they have more than one title to fight for. Or a women's equivalent to the IC title or something (maybe Queen of Queens crown is sorta like that)?

Still formulating ideas but I simmed an extra day to get to my next TV and WWE, having finished their purge, are now starting to hire workers again. And they hired the following three wrestlers on the same day:
Alberto El Patron (Del Rio, rehired) TJP (rehired) Marty Scurll So that's a potential violent sex criminal, a misandrist, and a guy ROH fired because he was outed as being a sex pest toward underaged girls in the UK RIP to WWE's PR department that day |

It is nice to see the PR department move on from that whole "Is Hogan saying he's a racist mean he's a racist?" storyline.

Tonight's results are sponsored by Thunder Rosa.
https://img.bleacherreport.net/img/i...900&h=600&q=75 AEW Dark: March 2, 2021: -Thunder Rosa def. Diamante -Wardlow def. QT Marshall -Dr. Britt Baker DMD def. Serena Deeb -Scopio Sky def. Isiah Kassidy -The Dark Order (Alex Reynolds, Colt Cabana, Evil Uno, John Silver, and Stu Grayson) def. Angelico, Jack Evans, Luther, Peter Avalon, and Serpentico AEW Dynamite: March 3, 2021 Segment 1: Not gonna lie, I can be a sucker for cold openings on a wrestling show, and that's what we get here as AEW World Champion Kenny Omega arrives at the building with his manager Don Callis, and he doesn't make it a few yards before "The Bastard" PAC pounces on him, still irate about being screwed out of the title on Sunday. Security has some early work to do to keep them apart. 89% overall Segment 2: "The Machine" Brian Cage is here and he's pissed off, ready for a fight and the man who has the unfortunate task of facing him tonight is "The Bad Boy" Joey Janela. Janela being a tough bastard in his own right hangs in there as best he can but for the most part Cage is prolonging the inevitable. Taz, sitting in on commentary for this match, is ranting about Sunday's street fight that went awry, and says Darby Allin's business with Team Taz is far from over. ***1/4, 76% overall Segment 3: "The American Nightmare" Cody Rhodes makes his way out to the ring. He confirms the rumors that had been making their way around online in the past few days, AEW is ready to get back on the road and it all starts on Saturday, March 27th at Blood and Guts, with the fans getting the titular match they missed out on a year ago. Now, Tony Khan will be deciding who will be in the landmark match over the next week, but he's already thrown his hat in the ring, his dad was in so many matches like Blood and Guts over the years and he wants to continue carrying on his legacy. The music of Eddie Kingston hits, Eddie says it's bullshit that Cody's using his pull with the office to try to get into the match. He won on Sunday and citing his lengthy career in CZW and IWA Mid South, if anybody is suited for a Blood and Guts match, it's him. He gets in Cody's face, Cody shoves him back, and we've already got our second pull apart of the night with The Family and Natural Nightmares coming in as well, sounds like a future trios match to me! 90% overall Segment 4: New AEW Women's World Champion Awesome Kong teamed with Dr. Britt Baker to take on Big Swole and former champion Hikaru Shida. This was more or less a showcase match for all four, Kong having some fiery brawls with Shida while also mixing it up with Swole for the first time. Baker has history with both opponents throughout 2020 so that was played up on as well. Kong and Shida eventually brawl out of the arena, as the ref tends to that, Britt pulls out her doctor's notebook and smacks Swole with it, she goes down like a stack of bricks...what is that thing made out of? Britt swipes the pinfall victory. **3/4, 73% overall Segment 5: The Inner Circle are backstage in their dressing room, more infighting with even Jericho losing his patience especially after MJF's miscommunication at Revolution. MJF attempts to calm the mood and says the Young Buck problem will be tended to before long - Sammy Guevara and Jake Hager will get their turn tonight. Sammy gets in MJF's face and tells him to stay in the back this time. 95% overall Segment 6: It's "Freshly Squeezed" Orange Cassidy vs. Jack Evans. I feel for TH2 (Jack Evans and Angelico) because while they're talented, they're almost certainly not going to be winning any matches for me as they're clearly at the bottom of the pecking order and I'm relatively low on jobbers since much of the actual enhancement guys are in the developmental system. I like to imagine when I don't book them on Dark, they're grabbing wins against the developmental guys. Be that as it may, the least I can do is give them the occasional showcase match and I do just that here, because hoooooly shit do these guys gel well. OC's still reeling from his match with Miro last weekend, allowing Evans to hang in there for a while before OC comes charging back and gets the win with the Stun Dog Millionaire. Camera cuts to Miro backstage, looking pissed that OC still has something in the tank. ****, 81% overall Segment 7: Sting and Darby Allin having a chat backstage for what amounts to an unofficial torch passing segment. 5 years ago, he never thought he'd get the chance to be in the ring again, the chance to get closure. He thanked Darby for allowing him to mentor him and fight Team Taz alongside him. Maybe he'll be lurking in the shadows again when he's needed, because the only thing that's for sure about Sting is that nothing's for sure. 84% overall Segment 8: Six man tag team action as SoCal Uncensored (Christopher Daniels, Frankie Kazarian, and Scorpio Sky) face off against FTR and Shawn Spears. Tully Blanchard was mum as to why he brought Spears back into the fold this past Saturday, and why his former client is back under his tutelage. For now, the focus is just on some solid trios action. The 50 year old Daniels is, as you can expect, mostly being used to put over others at this point and on this night he takes a C4 for Spears as the Blanchard trio picks up an impressive win over the longtime SCU group. ***, 75% overall Segment 9: Matt Hardy flexing his agent skills once again got a match booked for "Hangman" Adam Page against a Dark Order member Coit Cabana. Hardy continues to try to sell Hangman on joining the Hardy brand and drive a wedge between him and his friendship with Dark Order. Page and Cabana have a spirited match, Page opting to fight clean again despite Matt yelling at him to do illegal stuff on the outside. Colt throws some Dusty-style elbows, Page is groggy in the corner, Colt signals that he's gonna go for the Flying Asshole but Hardy grabs his feet. Colt stomps him off, turns around into a Buckshot Lariat. Hangman wins and Matt comes in to celebrate and kick Colt when he's down. Page once again is like WTF man, I don't want to fight dirty. ***1/2, 82% overall Segment 10: Jon Moxley cuts a promo from a shady back alley somewhere. Putting the Good Brothers through tables at Revolution was fun, but it's time to move onward and upward. Eddie Kingston wants to talk about the places he's been? Moxley has been there too...Blood and Guts is right up his alley, and he wants in. 90% overall Segment 11: The Young Bucks vs. Sammy Hager is the main event of the evening. Not sure what else to say about the Bucks at this point...they hit it out of the park in every match, I guess that tag experience rating really does make a difference. Anyway, Sammy works a similar fast paced, spotty style to the Bucks so I can see why that would work, whereas Hager is more of a brute strength change of pace. Inner Circle are shown backstage, Jericho wants to get the troops out there at one point but MJF talks him out of it. Sammy Hager come pretty damn close to pulling an upset on multiple occasions. Ultimately though, Hager is sidestepped and sent tumbling out of the ring leaving Sammy to take a Meltzer Driver for the big Bucks win. The celebration doesn't last long as the rest of the Inner Circle run out with MJF and an increasingly frustrated Jericho getting most of the shots in. Will the Young Bucks ever be able to shake off the Inner Circle? I kinda hope not, cause this feud is bringing the goods. ****1/4, 87% overall 84% show rating --- Dean Malenko informs me afterwards that Brian Cage and Joey Janela work well together. Hikaru Shida requests to work in a regular team with Big Swole. I have no real plans for a women's tag division, but Shida's legitimately in my top 5 wrestling crushes at the moment...decisions decisions. Best Dynamite I've had so far. |

Nobody really cares that Omega and the Bucks are champions right now because they haven't been overpushed, their spots on the card feel warranted as they're all really good, and they'll inevitably put the right guys over when it's time to pass the belts on. Being proud of your time at CZW is a weird flex but Kingston (and Moxley too) have kinda embraced their deathmatch roots, like a sense of pride that they were tough bastards but able to rise above it. Superstars: May 24, 2040
Opening Match: Conner Buchanan vs. Doug Michaels Buchanan is another guy in whom I'm losing faith but if I drop him now I just know he's going to get picked up and be used to boost some other promotion. I'll have to suck it up I guess. Regardless he helps out tremendously here by putting on an excellent performance. Buchanan with the pinfall win after the Borderline. ****1/2, 92% overall. Tania is out to join us to discuss her woes with Billie Padgett. She's proud to be able to say that she stands as her own woman. She had a partnership before and sadly that didn't turn out so well. Suddenly the music of Romeo Valiente hits and he swaggers his way out to confront Tania...or more accurately ogle Tania up and down. He suggests that maybe she just hasn't come across the right partnership yet. Being tied to someone like Romeo Valiente can do wonders for somebody as well put together as Tania. Tania rebukes him by pointing out how tremendous it was to watch Riott lay out Valiente at WrestleMania a few years back. Valiente is hot and angrily claims that Riott was an idiot and demands that Tania answer if she's an idiot. Things look pretty intense here but fortunately Ozzy Mandias runs in to pull Valiente away. Valiente cheap shots Ozzy with the mic and lays the boots to him. He issues some verbal threats as he takes his leave. Backstage, Vivian Merrick and The Future Foundation want to let everyone know about the complete lack of fear they have for the Play Pals and Sonya Braddock. Vivian feels that she is overdue as far as being the Women's Champion goes. The Play Pals are also in that group of people who have had their day in the sun. They may be enjoying their little renaissance after being reunited but the Future Foundation has that name for a reason. Second Match: Alexander Piero vs. Miles Shawcross Piero continues to BUILD MOMENTUM and adds to his streak here. He scores the pin after hitting the Flashpoint. ****1/2, 92% overall. Third Match: Naomi Bailey, Hannah McCormick, and Bobbi Jo vs. Lzzy Ryd, Phoebe Hanson, and Jamie Roderick I love slapping the women together in some hot sweaty multiple-body action. The two participants in the Queen of Queens match are showcased here and McCormick shows her dastardly ways by using the tights on Ryd to score a cheap pinfall win. ****1/2, 92% overall Backstage, Brooke is with one of her clients, Salvatore Scabbia. WrestleMania was a night that Scabbia will never forget. What should have been yet another milestone on his road to total dominance ended up being the catalyst for a new, more dangerous Salvatore Scabbia. Judgment Day is where it all comes back on track and Kyle Jacobs joins the pile where he belongs. Back to the ring it's time for another edition of the Hot Button with its host, the WWE Cruiserweight Champion-Elect Michael Hotbody. This time he tells the press pool that it's not about him and that he wants all questions to be directed towards his special guest for tonight's edition, the Cruiserweight Champion himself, Jordan Demiras. Demiras saunters out not looking amused in the slightest. Hotbody assures him that he's not looking to get physical and that tonight is all about being FAIR AND BALANCED! Hotbody even offers Demiras the podium and encourages him to field a question. Everyone is curious about what's on the mind of the champion! Hotbody goes to the press pool and offers one of them the mic so a question can be asked. "Yes, Mr. Demiras. Is it true that you deliberately got yourself disqualified at Backlash to keep your title because Hotbody was just too much for you handle?" Hotbody offers his own reply. "Oh, that's a really good question and that's absolutely true. Look at him! Look at him! He's not even denying it! Your silence speaks volumes, oh, great champion of ours! Let the record show that he doesn't deny it! Alright, next question...." Hotbody picks another person as Demiras looks exasperated. "Yes, Mr. Demiras, how good do you feel about your chances this Sunday at Judgment Day?" Hotbody again decides to answer. "Oh, he's nervous. Very nervous. The only thing stopping him from completely breaking down is that he knows he got saved by our biased boss, Lisa Benton by making things Falls Count Anywhere! It's a sham and he knows it! That actually leads to another question that somebody said they had. Yes, you!" Hotbody moves up to the front row to another 'reporter' as Demiras continues to look on with a miserable look on his face. He tries to say something but gets cut off by Hotbody who insists that this is the real question that needs answering. "Yes, Mr. Demiras, is it true that you provided sexual services for Lisa Benton in exchange for her making your match Falls Count Anywhere because you needed saving?" Hotbody tries to answer this one as well but Demiras is disgusted and has heard enough. He flips the podium over and makes a beeline for Hotbody. The press pool, however, blocks him which allows Hotbody to get some cheap shots in while Demiras is restrained. Hotbody grabs the Cruiserweight Title belt and taunts Demiras with it which allows the champion the change to break free and lunge at Hotbody. The press pool and security do their best to separate the two as we go to break! Fourth Match: Nigel Gallagher vs. Tom Foley Gotta get some awesome cruiserweight action in here. This is mainly a showcase for Nigel as I want to gradually start getting him more over. He gets the win here after nailing the Union Smack. ****1/2, 87% overall. Backstage Cameron Harper is walking down the hallway until Hugo decides that he's found his next victim to demolish. Harper is left down and out as the carnage continues from Hugo. Fifth Match: Faith Connors vs. Eclypse Jenna Kyle is shown watching from backstage. This is a classic David/Goliath affair with Connors using all of her light-footed knowhow to gain the upper-hand on the dominating Eclypse. Connors escapes a Fade to Black and uses the opportunity to land a Mirror's Edge for the pin. *****, 95% overall. MAIN EVENT: Jason Sorola and The Academy vs. Martyn LaSalle and The Dillingers Fun, fun, fun all around. The faces are all cruiserweight underdogs so of course they trade-off playing face-in-peril. Brooke is once again the X-factor here as she distracts Ben Dillinger long enough for Randy Ellis to land Today's Lesson for the pin. ****1/2, 90% overall. Overall show rating: 87% |

Boss at my last job was pretty damn hot and only like 2 years older than me. Married with kids and all that but, can't lie, the 'ol "sleep with the hot boss all the way to the top" fantasy entered my mind a couple dozen times.
In other words, good job Demiras :shifty: |
I imagine Benton more cute than hot but she's probably one of those types like Cristina Scabbia that ages like fine wine.
Needless to say this is all Hotbody just being as big of a douche as possible. I'm now envisioning him dressing up as Demiras and pulling a Bill Clinton "I did not have sexual relations..." schtick. Yeah, it's 2040 but the classics never go out of style. |
SmackDown!: May 25, 2040
It's the go home show for Judgment Day. I usually tend to keep it easy as far as matches and building up heat for the PPV goes. Opening Match: The Wyldhearts vs. The Young Bloods I'm going to need to blow-off the feud the Wyldhearts have with the Agents of Change so that I can start getting them ready to be title contenders. Anyways, a strong opener here where the faces take advantage of Stephen Q. Sterling screwing up some interference that allows Blaine Bellamey to score a pin on Sully Lane.****1/2, 93% overall We get a video package that showcases the four women that will be competing in the Queen of Queens match this Sunday. It's done individually and in chronological order when each of them won the Queen of the Ring tournament starting from Faith's underdog victory in the first during her rookie year, to Jenna's back-to-back victories in consecutive years, to Hannah's surprising wins over the previous winners on her path to the crown, and finally to Naomi's crushing and dominating force in the recent tournament. It all comes down to who is going to want it the most this Sunday. Second Match: DJ Stokes vs. Miles Shawcross OK, I know this is a case of me using someone who is supposed to be on the chopping block but the problem with continuing the game on 4.2 is that the contract situation for the workers is completely different. That being said I can't do my usual trick, at least not yet, of renegotiating a contract of a worker I want to fire so that I sign them to the max amount and then firing them so that no other promotion is capable of hiring them. So unfortunately some of these guys are going to have to stick around for a bit. They still have their uses though as Stokes does the job for Shawcross here. ****1/2, 91% overall. Third Match: Zed Jones and WWE Cruiserweight Champion-Elect Michael Hotbody vs. Haven and WWE Cruiserweight Champion Jordan Demiras Not so much a match as an outpouring of raw emotions here as Demiras is still pissed over Hotbody's disgusting comments from last night concerning Demiras and Lisa Benton. It's quite the brawl that ends when Demiras just loses his shit on Zed Jones and gets DQ'ed. The chaos continues as we go to break. ****1/2, 93% overall. Jake Connelly gives us a promo to talk about his match with Brandon Reigns at Judgment Day. Reigns isn't here tonight but Connelly knows the reason why. It's not out of fear. Reigns is using this time to really reflect. Whether he wants to admit it or not, Reigns will be going up against the biggest name he's ever faced in his career. It's a career that Reigns is reviewing right now, either in his mind or watching it on a screen. A career like that can not, WILL NOT, be ended by someone who has no respect for it. Reign needs to prepare to have even more of Connelly's career to reflect upon when Connelly wins the Intercontinental Championship. Fourth Match: C.J. and Arianna vs. Lauren Franklyn and Sarah Moore You know, seeing this makes me think that there's credence to that whole 'women's tag division' idea. The faces get the win here after a pretty even bout that ends with Arianna and C.J. fucking up a double team. ****1/2, 91% overall Fifth Match: The British Infection vs. The Millennium Rebels Jesus, these guys all have chemistry. The heels get the win over the Brits when Jerome McDougal smacks Exley with a chair behind the ref's back. Nigel Gallagher comes down to help chase everyone off. *****, 94% overall. Butch Fleming comes out to rag on Noah Carmichael. For a whole year, he's been thinking about what's going to go down on Sunday. He wants to be clear, however; it wouldn't have mattered who was champion when Fleming made his return at Backlash. They would have suffered his wrath no matter what. It just happened to be sweet cosmic justice that he returned to see the two people he hates the most duking it out over a prize neither of them deserve. This Sunday was meant to be and there isn't a damn thing Carmichael can do about it. With that, Carmichael's music plays and he comes out looking he's going to try to do something about it but Fleming must be busy because he takes the back door and takes his leave. Speaking of people who want to talk championships, Sonya Braddock is backstage eager to rip on Vivian Merrick. Merrick deserves praise for stepping up but she'd better make the most of this shot. Boasts can only take you so far. Sixth Match: Kyle Jacobs vs. King Kavovit God, I need to change that name and repackage him or something. Anyway, this is a showcase for Jacobs as he heads into Judgment Day against Salvatore Scabbia. King can't quite make the count back into the ring giving the win to Jacobs but Scabbia himself comes down to rain on the parade by attacking Jacobs and locking in the Omerta until he passes out. ****1/2, 93% overall. MAIN EVENT: Kerry Cemenko, Martyn LaSalle, Ozzy Mandias, The Play Pals vs. Xavier Cross, Jason Sorola, Romeo Valiente, and the WWE Unified Tag Team Champions The Future Foundation OVERBOOKED CROWDED MAIN EVENTS REEK OF AWESOMENESSITY! I love how spell check doesn't call me out on 'awesomenessity'...well, capitalized at least. The faces get the win here after a hot affair when Ozzy pins Valiente after the Blizzard of Oz. ****1/2, 92% overall. Overall show rating: 90% See you at Judgment Day! |
JUDGMENT DAY, BABY!!!: May 27, 2040
Pre-Show Match: The Wyldhearts and The British Infection vs. The Agents of Change and The Millennium Rebels I GIVE THE MIDDLE FINGER TO SURVIVOR SERIES!!! Anyways, I got two sets of dueling tag teams here, all of them extremely talented so they get the task of getting the crowd into the mood. Mission accomplished as the faces get the win with Robbie Greer scoring a pin over Clayton North. ****1/4, 89% overall. Judgment Day Opening Match: WWE Women's Champion Sonya Braddock and The Play Pals vs. Vivian Merrick and WWE Unified Tag Team Champions The Future Foundation The faces need to win here if the Play Pals are going to earn themselves a shot at the tag team titles. The men get most of the work done here as Vivian is cautious about Braddock. However it comes down to the two women and despite Vivian's craftiness, the Women's Champion is just too much as she lands a Left Hand of God to get the pin. ****1/2, 92% overall. Second Match: Falls Count Anywhere, WWE Cruiserweight Championship Jordan Demiras (c) vs. WWE Cruiserweight Champion-Elect Michael Hotbody Hotbody wants to let everyone know that Zed Jones aggravated a nagging injury on SmackDown! and won't be able to join him here right now but he is getting looked at and will valiantly try to make his match against Haven. With that out of the way, Demiras uses the stipulations to his advantage to just absolutely ravage Hotbody for everything he's said and done for the last few weeks. Hotbody keeps running away but nothing seems to be able to save his ass as Demiras is fighting like a man possessed. They eventually make it to the backstage area near the garage. Hotbody crawls over to the rear of an ambulance and pleads his case one more time but Demiras moves in for the kill when suddenly the back door of the ambulance bursts opens smashing Demiras' face. WTF? IT'S ZED JONES! He was in the back of the ambulance! Demiras is down and Hotbody uses this opportunity to climb the ambulance and hit Demiras with the Hot Ticket! He gets the cover...AND THE PIN!!! We have a NEW Cruiserweight Champion! He immediately grabs the belt and runs all over the place triumphantly, even going back out to the ringside area and doing laps. He runs to the back and tracks down and finds Lisa Benton in her office and jumps on her desk, just completely rubbing it in her face and kicking stuff off in celebration. Security comes in to try to get him out but HE WILL NOT BE DENIED!!! He breaks free and just goes wild all throughout the arena. *****, 94% overall. Third Match: Xavier Cross vs. Kerry Cemenko A far cry from the cruiserweight action from before but these guys are still over enough to get an awesome match here. Cross takes advantage of Cemenko missing the Curb Stomp and hits the Cross Cutter for the win. *****, 97% overall. Fourth Match: Zed Jones vs. Haven Jones is obviously fine and is thus good to go here. Unfortunately, Lisa Benton doesn't take kindly to the deception orchestrated by him and Hotbody so she makes this match No DQ. Oh, and since Hotbody went crazy with his celebration spilling outside the arena, he's locked out. This is a brawl you'd expect from two hosses. Sure, I'm giving Jones some good exposure and making him threatening and what not but he's not in Haven's league. Haven gets the win after the Sting of Solace. ****1/2, 92% overall. Fifth Match: Queen of Queens Fatal Four-Way: Naomi Bailey vs. Hannah McCormick vs. Faith Connors vs. Jenna Kyle This is one fall to a finish. Hannah's tactic is to hit and run while Naomi just overpowers everyone. Jenna kind of defaults to the second face in this match as she and Faith look to come to some silent understanding that they have a better chance of succeeding if they team up. They get the upper hand to the point where the two of them can duke it out amongst themselves. The end comes when Naomi suckers McCormick into a false sense of security and hits her with the Bail Out to score the pin. Naomi gets the win and now gets to face Sonya Braddock at Night of Champions. ****1/2, 96% overall. Sixth Match: Kyle Jacobs vs. Salvatore Scabbia Winner gets an Intercontinental Title match at Night of Champions. This is the cap on the feud between the two that began before WrestleMania and both are eager to get back on track after losing the Intercontinental Title. Jacobs ultimately proves that he is not a fluke and manages to break Scabbia's Omerta and hits a surprise Legacy Bomb for the pin. ****1/2, 91% overall. Seventh Match: WWE Intercontinental Title vs. Career Brandon Reigns (c) vs. Jake Connelly A match totally designed for Reigns' benefit. I don't do that WWE happy ending BS when it comes to legends hanging it up. They get their ass beat and humiliated in M-A-Gland. It's no different here as Reigns locks in the Iron Reign and gets THE CLEAN TAP OUT WIN to retain and send Connelly packing as far as in-ring competition goes. *****, 96% overall. MAIN EVENT: WWE Unified World Title Noah Carmichael (c) vs. Butch Fleming Another difference from the real world, crybabies on Twitter don't get fed. That's proven here as after one hell of a brawl, Quentin McDaniels of all people comes out. It looks like he's trying to help...CARMICHAEL??? :wtf: We'll never know as Fleming causes Carmichael to clash with the chair in McDaniels' hand allowing him to hit the Slaughterhouse Special for the pin and the title. He then proceeds to take the chair and just murders Carmichael's body with it in the name of GOOD SPORTSMANSHIP! Fleming takes his title as all of the SJWs go crazy on all of the message boards in utter disbelief that Fleming would be rewarded. Meanwhile, Noah Carmichael merchandise sales see a bump. *****, 97% overall. Overall show rating: 95% |

Tonight's results are sponsored by Dr. Britt Baker
https://nypost.com/wp-content/upload...y=80&strip=all AEW Dark: March 9, 2021: -"The Concrete Rose" Sonny Kiss def. Peter Avalon -Ivelisse and Diamante def. Thunder Rosa and Shanna -Wardlow def. Billy -Santana and Ortiz def. Alex Reynolds and John Silver -Rey Fenix def. Matt Sydal AEW Dynamite: March 10, 2021 Segment 1: Starting off with a bang as Darby Allin defends his AEW TNT title against "The Spanish God" Sammy Guevara of the Inner Circle. These two had a match way back at Revolution 2020 and it was a fast paced encounter that did not disappoint, and that was no different here as Darby grabs the win after a Coffin Drop. Afterwards, Brian Cage of Team Taz levels Darby with his FTW Championship, Taz meant it when he said his beef with Darby is not yet over. ***1/4, 81% overall Segment 2: Speaking of starting a show with a bang, here comes a special appearance by friend of the promotion Diamond Dallas Page! He promotes the latest upgrades of the DDP Yoga plan before the music of Eddie Kingston hits. Eddie runs down Page and uses it as a knock against Cody that he's giving valuable airtime his has-been legend friends. Before Page knows it, The Butcher, The Blade, and Allie are in the ring and The Family put the boots to poor Page. The Nightmare Family of Cody, Dustin, and QT Marshall run out for the save to build to the match later. 77% overall...as an aside, remembering that DDP is 3 years older than Sting will never not shock me Segment 3: Miro destroys Michael Nakazawa with reckless abandon in just a few moves. He leaves the Game Over locked in for long after the bell just to be an asshole. He points up to Orange Cassidy who is watching the match hanging out amongst the fans (YAY the mythical post-COVID era!) Orange gives him the thumbs up, not looking phased by Miro at all. **3/4, 68% overall...easily the worst segment of this feud so far, the plight of using one of the least over workers on the roster in his proper spot as an enhancement worker Segment 4: "Hangman" Adam Page is at his favorite place, the arena bar, when The Hardy Party walk in. Matt tells Hangman that he knows he doesn't always approve of his methods, but he can't argue with the results. He hands Hangman another contract to consider signing the Matt Hardy Brand. He tells Hangman for just a meager 33.3% of his career earnings, he can take him to the highest levels of the sport. It's a no brainer! But just to show he means business, he's got them a match against another of Page's former friends, the AEW Tag Team champion Young Bucks, next week! 79% overall Segment 5: Another 2020 rivalry renewed as Dr. Britt Baker faces off against Hikaru Shida, who broke Britt's nose last year. I actually thought these two had some decent matches in real life but these ratings were nowhere near as kind to them, c'est la vie. Shida hits the Three Count for, well, the three count. Awesome Kong marches down to the ring afterward but hops off the apron as a fired up Shida swings her singapore cane at her. **1/2, 70% overall....actually, as Scott Keith says, that's still Perfectly Acceptable Wrestling Segment 6: Another member of Inner Circle is in action tonight as Wardlow who has rung up a lot of wins on Dark faces off against Jon Moxley. During the match, it is confirmed that The Purveyor of Violence was granted his wish to be a part of the Blood and Guts match. This was a pretty decent brawl that gave Wardlow a good showing while also letting Mox keep his age. Mox gets the win with the Paradigm Shift. **3/4, 74% overall Segment 7: We cut backstage where there's a fracas going on. PAC finds himself the victim of a three on one beatdown by Shawn Spears and FTR. Those three had been feuding with Jurassic Express, what beef does PAC have with them? In the background, we see Don Callis handing an envelope to Tully Blanchard, guess we know who ordered this beatdown. 69% overall Segment 8: Six man tag team action, Family vs. Nightmare Family. Fairly standard six man tag affair here, again with some decent enough brawling going on since guys like Eddie Kingston and Dustin Rhodes are never afraid to throw hands. Butcher and the Blade hit the Full Death on Cody but it is narrowly broken up by Dustin before the inevitable pier six brawl breaks out. Natural Nightmares take out The Butcher at ringside, Cody recovers in the ring and gets The Blade in position for the Cross Rhodes, staring down Eddie Kingston on the rampway. Cody picks up the win for the face team. **3/4, 69% overall Segment 9: Interview backstage with the Young Bucks. As Scott Keith's write up says, nothing fancy, just a solid interview. They talk about Jericho and MJF taking the night off while leaving their Inner Circle mates to fight their battles, and say they're always welcome to another shot at their belts after they get past Hangman and Hardy next week. 81% overall Segment 10: In our main event of the evening, World champion Kenny Omega faces off against Jungle Boy. Don Callis joins commentary and says he's been given assurance that Jurassic Express are banned at ringside for this one, but also ignored having anything to do with the Spears/FTR beatdown despite visual evidence to the contrary. Much as Wardlow/Mox was meant to get Wardlow over by letting him hang with a big name, that was true in this main event as well. These two definitely gelled and I could easily buy Jungle Boy getting a few convincing near-falls. FTR make their way out for the distraction, Spears chair shot in the ring, One Winged Angel, Kenny wins another match in classic heel fashion. ***1/4, 79% overall Segment 11: Callis and Blanchard shake hands again on the ramp before Blanchard's group leaves and Callis hands a mic to the champ. Kenny cuts an obnoxious promo, reminding everyone that he's the best wrestler in the world. His promo is soon interrupted by PAC appearing on the video monitor, still selling his beatdown from earlier. If you'd rather fight in a group, so be it...I spoke to Tony Khan and he told me that you and I will both be in Blood and Guts! Kenny is not happy about this at all and yells at Callis to do something as we go off the air. 89% overall 77% show rating Pretty happy with it considering a few of the segments fell flat and didn't click. Finding that Inner Circle is the only stable I can get away with doing Stable angles for is Inner Circle since Jericho and MJF are hella over and actually 5 of the 7 are at 80 overness or above. All other stable angles are usually one big name and then a lot of far less over workers. But dammit, I love stables and have so many of them! --- Dean Malenko informs me afterwards that Moxley and Wardlow didn't really click in their match. Then Moxley tells me he didn't really click with Wardlow. I GET IT, GOD!!!!!! Eddie Kingston wants to be higher up the card, he's quietly moved all the way up to 84 overness having gained overness in most of his promo as well as his various brawls with Cody. Well shit, that does sound like Upper Midcard territory to me. |

Might as well do an update on the championships considering what went down at Judgment Day. Only two new champions but everyone else seems to have a direction for Night of Champions.
WWE Unified World Champion: Butch Fleming (4th reign), def. Noah Carmichael at Judgment Day. Possible rematch for Night of Champions? WWE Intercontinental Champion: Brandon Reigns (4th reign), retained against Jake Connelly at Judgment Day. Next defense versus Kyle Jacobs at Night of Champions. WWE Unified Tag Team Champions: The Future Foundation (2nd reign). Next defense against the Play Pals, probably on the next Raw. WWE Women's Champion: Sonya Braddock (5th reign), next defense versus Naomi Bailey at Night of Champions WWE Cruiserweight Champion: Former WWE Cruiserweight Champion-Elect Michael Hotbody (first reign), def. Jordan Demiras at Judgment Day. Next defense? Whenever he fucking feels like it!!! |
Oops, I didn't see Judgment Day there as I worked on my Dynamite :o

I should look into that Juice Robinson. I mean, that's just an awesome name.
Zed wasn't faking anything. I mean, he was being checked out, he heard a commotion outside of the ambulance and popped out to see what the hubbub was. It's too bad Demiras is such a klutz. :shifty: I really should try to make Hotbody's name as annoyingly, stupidly long as possible, though. |
Yeah, Naomi got the duke here because she only had one match with Braddock and I wanted to extend that feud because I have other things in store for Connors and Jenna. Namely, a blow-off match that may or may not finally cause a certain someone to return to the side of good and may possibly lead to a team up??? :shifty:

https://it7g921jf4l4braew42gg5i1-wpe...ampionship.jpg AEW Dark: March 16, 2021: -Big Swole def. Emi Sakura -Team Taz (Ricky Starks and Powerhouse Hobbs) def. Bad Romance (Joey Janela and Sonny Kiss) -Matt Sydal def. Brian Pillman Jr. -Luchasaurus def. Jake Hager -Colt Cabana def. Christopher Daniels AEW Dynamite: March 17, 2021 Segment 1: Over the weekend, it was announced that Rey Fenix, who is a member of Death Triangle with PAC and teamed with Jon Moxley in a Tables match at Revolution was selected to be a part of their team at <s>War Games</s> Blood and Guts. Tonight they faced off against Santana and Ortiz of the Inner Circle. These two teams really tore the house down to open the show. Many probably expected this to be a showcase match for the face team, but experience ended up winning out as Mox found himself thrown out of the ring leaving Fenix prey for the Street Sweeper as Santana and Ortiz score one of their biggest wins in AEW! ****1/4, 88% overall Segment 2: After the match, an unlikely trio made down to the ring: Kenny Omega, Eddie Kingston, and Brian Cage. These three are all from different corners of AEW - Kenny is the World Champion with Impact talents (Don Callis and The Good Brothers) watching his back, Kingston leads The Family, and Brian Cage is the heavy hitter of Team Taz. But they're all putting their differences aside temporarily as they've been drafted into battle on the same team at Blood and Guts. Santana and Ortiz are from yet another faction in The Inner Circle, but seeing how they just put down two guys from the face team, they want Santana and Ortiz to get the final two spots on the heel Blood and Guts team. Santana and Ortiz look at each other, smirk, then pull out a madball and start beating down their opponents with it! I suppose that's a painful way of saying yes. 85% overall Segment 3: A continuation of the Jurassic Express vs. FTR/Spears angle with Spears making his singles in-ring return against the diminutive Marko Stunt. Unfortunately, I feared these dudes would be sent out to die after that opener and that's exactly what happened, tough to balance out a card in EWR. Anyway, crowd was still fired up from the opener but with FTR and Jurassic Express getting in each others' business on the outside, Spears puts Marko down with the C4 (a running Death Valley Driver, which I imagine Marko would be able to sell like death). **1/2, 63% overall Segment 4: Chris Jericho and MJF are backstage. With tensions rising in the Inner Circle, MJF feels like Santana and Ortiz might be upstaging the group by going into the Blood and Guts match. So if they're gonna go big, so should they - he wants the Young Bucks again at Blood and Guts. Jericho, not wanting to be upstaged himself, takes it a step further - if the Inner Circle can't bring home the belts, they'll go their separate ways. GASP! 91% overall Segment 5: AEW Women's World Champion Awesome Kong is in action tonight, and another big size differential in this one going up against inaugural Women's champion Riho. I've seen Riho work really good size mismatches against Nyla Rose so I imagine this would be good in real life too, and it was a real solid match in game. Alas, Riho threw everything in her 5'1" frame at Kong but it was not enough as an Awesome Bomb folds her up like a lawn chair for the win. Kong grabs a pair of scissors and seems content to humiliate Riho and take a memento...but CRACK! Shida's singapore cane connects and Kong goes down! Shida aids her friend and this business with Kong is still not over. **3/4, 73% overall Segment 6: Cody Rhodes backstage with Darby Allin. Darby and Cody had numerous wars with one another throughout AEW's 2 year history, and Darby's also fought and teamed with Moxley on many occasions. Darby is a guy Cody wants to go to war with, and now that Brian Cage is on the other team, that's all Darby needed to accept the gig. Darby Allin is in for Blood and Guts, and the two cut a promo on their current rivals (Kingston and Page). 80% overall...Cody has very high charisma but Darby's 72 charisma wore it down, ah well, I was running out of segments Segment 7: We have a rematch from Revolution with Orange Cassidy and Miro resuming their unfinished business. I imagine the match was certainly not PPV length, but the intensity was still there and they got through what they needed to and had a nearly identical rated match. Orange got fired up, looked like he'd rally and grab the win only for "Superbad" Kip Sabian to come out of nowhere and hold Orange's foot at ringside. The distraction was all that was needed to give Miro time to sneak up for a Sambo suplex and the win. ***, 82% overall Segment 8: The Young Bucks due battle against Matt Hardy and his reluctant partner, Hangman Adam Page. Between their overness and talent it seems damn near impossible for the Bucks to not have a 4 star match at this point...and it was no different here. Lot of high octane work with Page and the Bucks. Matt Hardy trying to cheat wherever possible. Ref bump leads to Matt Hardy going out and getting a chair, but Page won't let Matt use it. They have a tug of war over the chair, which Hardy wins only to turn into a Superkick Party into the chair. The ref comes to and Matt Hardy is pinned. The Bucks win, Page just shakes his head. Bucks can't celebrate for long as here comes Jericho and MJF to jump them as the two teams brawl out of the arena. ****1/4, 90% overall Segment 9: As Matt Hardy recovers from having a chair Superkicked into his face, he tries to regain his composure and address Page. He knows Hangman is trying to do the honorable thing, but getting on your high horse only gets you so far in this business. That is why he needs the guidance that the Matt Hardy brand can provide. He pulls out the contract again from last week and implores Hangman to sign. Hangman looks conflicted, looks back and forth to the audience chanting "NO!" before ripping the contract up! Matt is beside himself! Private Party sneak into the ring and blindside Page. They hit him with the Gin and Juice! The Hardy Party have left Hangman laying. 90% overall Segment 10: The scheduled tag match main event pitting PAC and Darby Allin vs. Brian Cage and Ricky Starks of Team Taz took on even more meaning now that Darby is officially in for Blood and Guts. This was a step down from the last match, but thankfully not enough to be punished with the fans being burned out or anything. Given that Starks is the only one of the four not in the Blood and Guts main event, I think we know who is eating the pin. Darby and Cage are off fighting at ringside while PAC pins Starks after the Black Arrow. ***, 77% overall Segment 11: Has it been made clear yet that I love a good belt shot? Such an easy way to add heat to an angle. Anyway that's what happens here with Kenny cutting PAC's celebration short, blasting him with the World Title. Officially, that's all that was booked for this segment in EWR. But in imagination land, Darby and Cage spill back into the ring and eventually Mox/Fenix/Cody/Kingston/Santana/Ortiz all come out in various groups and we have both teams duking it out to put over the mayhem of Blood and Guts. 85% overall 82% show rating Hell yeah. |

Raw: May 28, 2040
It's the Raw after Judgment Day and the road to Night of Champions begins. There are two matches scheduled so far as the result of what went down last night. Time to see where all of the champions end up. Speaking of which we're opening with the NEW Unified World Champion, Butch Fleming who made the most of his return to PPV after being gone a year. He takes the mic and addresses the crowd. "I....TOLD....YOU! Did you really, truly believe that a year's absence was going to be enough to blunt my edge? Did you honestly think that all of that time away gave Noah Carmichael some sort of advantage? I ALWAYS have the the advantage! You want to know why you people wanted to believe I'd fail? It's because you're so stupid that you're not able to learn from history! I went more than THREE YEARS with NO ONE being able to beat me! The few losses I ended up with I can count on one hand! And the so-called 'men' that can claim those empty, hollow victories? They're back in their place where they belong BECAUSE I DON'T COWER AWAY AND I PUT THEM THERE! Crossing me is the ultimate sin for anyone dumb enough to consider it. Which brings me to one other individual that I am demanding come out here right now and face the music. QUENTIN MCDANIELS! i'm not asking you, I'm ORDERING YOU to get in this ring now!" Quentin McDaniels makes Fleming wait a bit but eventually the man joins us and steps into the ring with an intense glare towards the champion. Fleming continues his tirade this time directed at his former City Slickers stablemate. "Quentin, I'm only doing this because you and I go way back so I'm going to give you a chance to be straight with me. WHAT THE HELL WERE YOU DOING OUT THERE IN MY MAIN EVENT LAST NIGHT?!?!" McDaniels raises his own mic and furiously gives his response. "Let me get something straight here, I'm out here on my own accord. You don't order me...." "ANSWER THE DAMN QUESTION, QUENTIN! I'm not in the mood for any backtalk and I sure as hell don't care about your feelings. What the hell were you doing at Judgment Day in my match? Because it looked to me like you wanted to help Carmichael keep the title." "You really want to know, Butch? Truth be told, I was just going to sit back and enjoy the show at Judgment Day but then there was something you said last week that got me thinking; you said that no matter who was in the main event at Backlash you were going to come down and attack them. I have to ask would that have included me? You see, just one month before Backlash, I was in the main event of WrestleMania and it just as easily could have been me defending the Unified Title at Backlash. So I'll ask again, would you have included me in your little temper tantrum against the world?" "Who the hell do you think you are talking to me like that? I ask the questions around here! I am the Unified World Champion! I am your God damn superior!" "Wake up, 'boss'! I know being gone a whole year can leave you behind on current events but in case you haven't noticed, the City Slickers aren't a thing anymore. The brilliant idea of The Integration also isn't a thing anymore. I did fine without you by my side and I sure as hell can be just fine with you right in my face. I deserved another crack at Carmichael. Hell, I could the one that takes that title away from you and send you packing for another year. Maybe more depending on how willing you are to piss me off." Fleming chuckles at this incredulously. "If you want to start with your own visions of grandeur, I hope you took a long hard look at what I left of Noah Carmichael last night. Remember, you're no different than him. I know you just as well and I know you can't measure up to me. There's barely anyone back there that measures up to me as far as deserving a title shot goes!" Almost on cue the lights dim and the eeriness sets in as Haven makes his way to the ring. He gets in the face of Quentin McDaniels and has words for him. "Wallow in pity as long and as deep as you wish. The truth is simply this: your chance came and went. Fear not, though, for sanctuary beckons the Unified World Title as there is another who is far more deserving." And with that, Haven turns his glare to Fleming and simply growls, "ME!" He then grabs the champion by the throat furiously. However, McDaniels doesn't take kindly to Haven's apparent disrespect and attacks from behind. Soon, Haven is laid out by McDaniels and Fleming. Backstage, Romeo Valiente demands that Ozzy Mandias stay out of his business. Valiente has been treating the rookie with kid gloves but he warns that he's not sure how much longer he's willing to do so. First Match: Moses McKay and King Kavovit vs. The Tokyo Titans Thought I'd never get to a match, huh? Well, it's a doozy so there is that. McKay is in rebuild mode and he leads his team to victory with a well-placed Mass Effect on Wu to get the pin. *****, 94% overall. Backstage, Naomi Bailey reaches out to Sonya Braddock who, unfortunately, isn't here tonight. Naomi hopes the champion was watching the Queen and Queens match last night. Naomi also invites her and everyone to witness her re-coronation on SmackDown!. Second Match: Seth Von Kamp vs. Steve Hayes I debated hard about what to do with Von Kamp next but unfortunately I had to set him aside and have him tread water for a bit while I let some other things unfold. There is something in store for him, I assure you, it's just that he's got to stutter for a bit. He can still get some wins, though, and he does so here after a solid match that ends with a pin after the Collapse of Society. ****1/2. 92% overall. Third Match: Faith Connors and Phoebe Hanson vs. Hannah McCormick and Bobbi Jo McCormick is HOT after losing last night and she's keen on taking things out on Faith. Jenna Kyle watches from the ramp while the announcers speculate what might be on her mind. The end comes when both Faith and Bobbi Jo stumble into Jenna and it looks like Jenna tries to take a pound of flesh from Faith but Bobbi gets the raw end of that deal allowing Faith to hit the Mirror's Edge for the pin. Did Jenna really mean to do that? *****, 94% overall. Backstage, Kyle Jacobs is proud to say that he shoved all of that fluke talk up the asses of all of the naysayers. It's only too bad that last night's joy was tempered a great deal by having to watch the end of a legend, Jake Connelly, at the hands of Brandon Reigns. Reigns has made his bed. Now Kyle Jacobs gets to mess it up all over again. Fourth Match: Michael Haywood vs. Julian Merrick These two tag team specialists have a date with destiny as The Play Pals earned a shot at the tag team titles. Both men show their determination to show the other up but Rick Hilton pulls Merrick out when the water starts getting too hot. Haywood gets a countout win here. ****1/2, 92% overall. Fifth Match: Billie Padgett and Carmella Costello vs. Tania and Frankie The poor faces don't get last names. They don't need them, though, as Frankie causes Carmella to collide with an interfering Brooke and hits the Frankie-Stein for the pin. ****1/2, 91% overall. Sixth Match: Lonny Richards vs. Caleb Greene The former partners finally get to try to settle things. It's another David vs. Goliath situation as Greene pulls out all of his cruiserweight craftiness and agility to hang with the powerhouse in Richards. Lonny's manager, Nathan Quinn, proves to be the deciding factor as he distracts Greene long enough for Richards to slap on the Dragon Sleeper and Greene passes out. ****1/2, 92% overall. FINAL SEGMENT: The Mega-Super-Happening-Hip-Cool-Awesome-Hot-Dance Party-Celebration-Fiesta-Electronica-Dubstep-Fresh-Funky-Award Ceremony-Extravaganza to Commemorate the NEW WWE Cruiserweight Champion, Former Cruiserweight Champion-Elect Michael Hotbody Hotbody is in full giddy mode tonight as the ring is filled with apparently party guests of his selection. We're all here to take part in this momentous occasion and bear witness to the elevation to legendary status by Michael Hotbody. He overcame the impossible! A biased boss in Lisa Benton! An unfair match stipulation! A sex-crazed, insecure weak FORMER champion in Jordan Demiras! Hotbody wants to dedicate this special event to Zed Jones, who is recuperating after Haven UNJUSTLY REAGGRAVATED Zed's health problems. He feels bad about Jones being in the wrong place at the wrong time last night. All Zed was trying to do was get some measure of rest after being worked on in the back of that ambulance and then he heard the wild commotion coming from Demiras and his hormones! All Jones was trying to do was take a peek outside to see what was happening and that sexual deviant Demiras went all klutzy again! But it's all OK because what's important is right here, right now! Demiras is banned from entering this exclusive party as all of Hotbody's guests have been personally vetted! The audience is also banned from dancing and if there are people seen dancing during the party THEY WILL BE EJECTED!!! They are only here to observe and reflect on what a loser Jordan Demiras is and what a great cruiserweight champion Michael Hotbody will be! Now with that said, LET'S DANCE!!! The lights dim but the ring lights up with various spotlights and God awful electronic club music plays. Everyone in the ring does their thing but Hotbody just goes completely wild. After a while, he looks into the crowd and takes the mic again and asks for the music to be lowered because he SEES PEOPLE DANCING! Hotbody declares that he will immediately start ejecting people and any further blatant rule-breaking will cause that person to be PERMANENTLY BANNED FROM ALL FUTURE HOTBODY EVENTS!!! He then tries to get things back on track when one of the party attendees smashes a record over Hotbody's head!!! The attacker removes some of his party attire...IT'S JORDAN DEMIRAS!!! He managed to sneak in! He rains some more fury on the fallen Hotbody but the party security pulls him off! We go off the air as Demiras desperately tries to get him some more! 88% overall show rating. |
It goes without saying that the matches on your shows are always going to deliver the good with how talented and over everybody on the card is. But the segments on this show were dope as hell.
The opening segment, bringing up past stable histories? Is that even allowed in WWE if it happened more than 2 months ago? Heels actually arguing with each other and making valid points before briefly reconciling just to beat down the face is a great wrestling trope I enjoy. Helps give some edge to the characters that yeah, the heels do beef on one another buuuuut they're dicks and will always delight in beating down the face above all else. Main event segment is just brilliance. Hotbody might be the MVP of the company at this point. Kenny Omega in AEW gets an obnoxiously long ring intro from Justin Roberts listing all of his previous accolades and i totally see that in Hotbody's future as well. My favorite thing about segments like that, sorta like wrassling weddings, is you KNOW the face is going to show up somewhere to interrupt, it's just a matter of working out how they'll sneak their way in. Great feud. |

https://pbs.twimg.com/media/ENPfMvHX...g&name=900x900 AEW Dark: March 23, 2021: -"Superbad" Kip Sabian and Penelope Ford def. Peter Avalon and Leva Bates -Scorpio Sky def. Angelico -Evil Uno and Stu Grayson def. Chaos Project -Powerhouse Hobbs def. "The Natural" Dustin Rhodes -Colt Cabana def. Frankie Kazarian AEW Dynamite: March 24, 2021 Segment 1: It's Orange Cassidy vs. Kip Sabian to kick us off, Sabian having returned last week and cost OC his match against Miro. The last time these two met, Sabian did not last very long. Tonight he had a much better account of himself. Miro's attempted interference goes awry, and Cassidy puts Kip away with the Superman Forearm. Miro and Kip but the boots to Cassidy after the bell, when the music of Best Friends hits! Chuck Taylor is back! Chuckie T runs out with a chair, backing Miro and Kip out of the ring for the save. ***, 75% overall Segment 2: Backstage, we see Jurassic Express backstage, getting ready for their 6-man tag match tonight. The lights are cut off in their dressing room, a loud commotion is heard, and when they come back, FTR and Shawn Spears are standing over them, chairs in hand. It's chair night in AEW, apparently. Tully Blanchard declares that since their opponents are apparently in no condition to compete, guess they can call it an early night. Tully and Co head for the parking garage. 66% overall Segment 3: Hikaru Shida is out for some singles action against her fellow countrywoman Emi Sakura. These two have competed each other many times across various Japanese promotions, and the chemistry is obvious as they had a solid match here. With a rematch for the Women's title on Saturday looming, Shida gets the Three Count for the win. ***1/4, 76% overall Segment 4: Shida can't celebrate for too long, as the music of Awesome Kong hits. Shida immediately gets her kendo stick at the ready. Kong emerges with a kendo stick of her own! Security tries to hold Kong back but she plows through them to the ring, members of the AEW women's roster try to break them up and get caned for their trouble. Pull apart brawl for the women, not something you see everyday. 77% overall Segment 5: Backstage, Kenny Omega and Don Callis have gathered Team Taz, The Family, and Santana and Ortiz into a conference room. This gathering of the groups is meant to put their differences aside ahead of tonight's main event and Saturday's Blood and Guts, but really it came across more like a town hall meeting with Omega and Callis putting Omega over. FEAR NOT, you are being led into battle by the best wrestler in the world! 97% overall (!)....I actually set the whole group up as a stable called "Heel Team" for this, muahaha Segment 6: Hangman Page in action against the ring veteran Christopher Daniels. Matt Hardy joined the commentary team, still incensed about Hangman ripping up the contract last week, but hinting he's got a better offer up his sleeve after this match. Page and Daniels have themselves a banger, Daniels can still go and it's nice to get whatever I can out of him before the game tries to send him into retirement land. Page wins with the Dead Eye. ****, 84% overall Segment 7: Matt Hardy sarcastically applauds Hangman's win. "You may have turned down my contract last week, but this week I have a new offer for you. I have in my hand a contract for a match this Saturday at Blood and Guts. You and me. Mano y mano. IF you beat me, I will so generously write you a check for 100% of my 1st quarter earnings. But WHEN I beat you, you have to sign with the Matt Hardy Brand for the next year. So what do you say, cowboy? You know what happened the last time you turn down my contract." Hangman looks to the crowd, and gets a couple beers from ringside. "I look forward to making some money on Saturday, but this is the only way to close a deal". Hangman and Matt toast, Page hits the lariat mid-sip, beer flies everywhere. Hangman signs the contract and leaves it on the downed Matt. ***, 86% overall Segment 8: We see a video package highlighting the members of the other team at Blood and Guts (and yes, I made the face team their own stable in-game for this). Each man talks about the opportunity to make history in the first ever Blood and Guts match in history. Mox embracing the chance to get back to his violent roots, Cody wanting to honor his dad who fought in wars like this, everyone getting a chance to get their hands on their rivals, etc. 87% overall Segment 9: Chris Jericho and MJF get some last-minute work in ahead of Saturday's tag title opportunity as they face Evil Uno and Stu Grayson of Dark Order. Announcers remind everyone that Jericho threatened to disband Inner Circle if they don't win the titles on Saturday....is this the last time we're seeing the Inner Circle team on Dynamite? Lots of hijinx outside the ring with fellow Inner Circle members Sammy Guevara, Jake Hager, and Wardlow cheap shotting Dark Order members Colt Cabana, Alex Reynolds, and John Silver. Grayson dives onto the whole pile to try to help his friends. Ref doesn't see Jericho poke Uno in the eyes. Uno loses his bearings, MJF drop toe holds him down and then locks in the Salt of the Earth armbar for the win. ***1/4, 81% overall Segment 10: Jericho and MJF obnoxiously celebrate like they just won the World Series while the Dark Order and Inner Circle are still fighting at ringside. They gesture that they'll have belts around their waists soon enough, but don't see the Young Bucks have slid into the ring. Superkicks in stereo and the champs hold their titles above them before sliding back out to avoid the Inner Circle. 81% overall Segment 11: TEN MAN TAG TEAM ACTION in our main event pitting Saturday's teams against each other in standard tag action, and it is of great consequence as this match will determine which team will receive the all-important entry advantage ahead of Blood and Guts. Given this involves ten prominent names, everyone gets a chance to showcase and get some stuff in. There's a reason multi-man tags always devolve into a wild brawl though - because it's fun and it works! Bah gawd what's it gonna be like on Saturday when all of these men are locked in a cage together? Signature fest from everyone, Cody gets the Cross Rhodes on Ortiz but Eddie Kingston hucks him out of the ring. Rey Fenix launches off the ropes at Kingston but Kingston perfectly times it with a Backfist to the Future! Ouch. The bad guys pick up the win and the advantage for Saturday. ***, 82% overall 81% show rating |
Blood and Guts card:
BLOOD AND GUTS MATCH: Cody Rhodes, Darby Allin, Jon Moxley, PAC, and Rey Fenix vs. Kenny Omega, Brian Cage, Eddie Kingston, Santana, and Ortiz AEW World Tag Team Championships: Chris Jericho and MJF vs. The Young Bucks (C) AEW Women's World Championship - Kendo Sticks Are Legal: Hikaru Shida vs. Awesome Kong (C) Big Money Match: "Big Money" Matt Hardy vs. "Hangman" Adam Page Orange Cassidy and Chuck Taylor vs. Miro and Kip Sabian FTR and Shawn Spears vs. Jurassic Express --- This is technically meant to be a special bonus event, not a PPV.....this card definitely works for it since I've got a special attraction main encapsulating a bunch of feuds. Might throw in an unannounced bonus match or two on top of this but this is solid. |

It's the final show of the month. I think I can take things sort of easy. I'm anxious to see how my first month on 4.2 turns out. Sonya Braddock better have continued to bring in the monies. Opening Match: Nigel Gallagher vs. Tom Foley Cruiserweight action at its midcard finest! I'm obviously very high on Nigel as he's quickly coming into his own as far as putting out awesome performances. Maybe he can be a Rookie of the Year Slammy contender? Anyways, Nigel gets the pin with the Union Smack but Jerome McDougal wants to ruin things for the rookie Brit and he comes down to nail Nigel in the back with a chair. ****1/2, 87% overall. Backstage, Kerry Cemenko feels embarrassed by what happened at Judgment Day. What kind of guy is he if he's losing to a whiner like Xavier Cross. Cemenko declares that he's capable of pulling himself out of this rut and not letting Cross just discard him. Back to the arena Nathan Quinn makes his way out to the stage. He hopes that everyone took notice of what he did on Raw and that it is proof positive that he will always look out for his clients and that includes his newest acquisition who is here tonight! Quinn asks us to welcome...LEAH! The debuting diva makes her way out and joins Quinn at his side. Quinn announces that she will make her in-ring debut tomorrow night on SmackDown! by challenging any woman brave enough to accept! Second Match: Alexander Piero vs. Orlando Kincaid This is probably Piero's biggest test to date as Kincaid is a former Intercontinental and Unified Tag Team Champion. Kincaid controls with his veteran tactics but grows increasingly frustrated at not being able to put away the rookie. They eventually end up outside of the ring and Kincaid just says 'fuck it' and uses the ring bell on Piero when it looks like Piero's momentum starts to become too much. Piero may have just finally received his harsh welcome to the WWE. ****1/2 Third Match: The Dillingers vs. The Southern Gentlemen I mean, can you have enough ***** tag team matches on your show? I don't think so and these guys were gracious enough to deliver! The Dillingers get the win after Ben pinned Brody Lee. *****, 95% overall. Backstage, Ozzy Mandias wants to respond to the threats made by Romeo Valiente. Ozzy reminds us all that Valiente started all of this when he couldn't handle the fact that Ozzy eliminated him back in the Cruiserweight Rumble. Ozzy is willing to comply with leaving Valiente alone, however....IF Valiente issues an apology. Fourth Match: Shawn Dangerson vs. WWE Intercontinental Champion Brandon Reigns Reigns is back in action after his stunning upset at Judgment Day. Nothing wrong with giving him a solid win here to help keep his momentum. After Reigns gets another submission win the Iron Reign, he gets on the mic and immediately dismisses Kyle Jacobs. "You people think Jacobs becoming the number one contender or Jake Connelly being forced to retire at MY hands is big news? Well I've got a doozy for you. Tomorrow on SmackDown!, I'm announcing when I'll be cashing in my Money in the Bank contract!!!" *****, 94% overall. We're joined by Faith Connors in the ring who wants to discuss Jenna Kyle. "If you all would be so kind as to indulge me, there's something that I want to share with you regarding Jenna. Even though it might be hard to believe considering these past few...well, who am I kidding?...this past year, Jenna was actually the first friend I ever made when I came into the wrestling business. I was just some scrappy kid who did parkour for fun who got into this game on the promises and dubious kindness of strangers who were willing to take a chance on me. Jenna, however, didn't believe in chance. She believed in the certainty that Faith Connors was going to be not just a major female star in wrestling, but THE major female star in wrestling. She pushed me to go that extra mile when I was running on empty and it was a hell of a trip when she and I entered this stage almost side-by-side. So in a lot of ways you can say I owe a lot to her. But I can easily say that she owes me a lot, too, considering everything we've been through together. So with that said I am asking Jenna to join me out here right now." All eyes are fixed on the ramp and sure enough they're greeted by Jenna Kyle who looks somewhat annoyed as she enters the ring. "What is it that you could possibly think I owe you, Faith?" "Well, it's actually nothing major, I don't think. You see, if you recall I made a bit of an overture to you not too long ago about moving past all the nastiness between us and you said it wasn't really the time to even think about it. Well, here we are, four days after Judgment Day, we stand face-to-face together a couple of losers, neither one us going to Night of Champions. Then, you have to factor in what you did on Raw. So what I'm asking of you is quite simply where is your head at? I need to know how distrusting I'm going to be with you from here on out. I have a preference because you're more honest with friends than with your enemies but I'm all ears with whatever's on your mind." "First things first, watch who you're calling a loser. Secondly, it would be completely convenient and easy to just sweep all of my feelings under the rug as simple jealousy but you know that isn't true. I push people to be their best so that I am able to say that I beat the best and that's what I've done whether you like it or not. So how much can you trust me? Well, you can definitely trust that in my heart I will always believe that the top spot belongs to me. There's where my head is at." Lisa Benton decides to join the conversation by making her way to the stage. She's seen quite enough of this and makes the declaration that one way or another, the animosity between Faith and Jenna needs to end. Benton asks the pair how they feel about one more match. Faith simply replies while looking at Jenna, "I'm down." Jenna replies, "Time and place" while returning Faith's gaze. Benton continues, "Well, lucky for all of us I have just the match and just the time and place. In 11 days, the second Raw of June, the two of you will be the main event in what will surely be the most decisive encounter to put a cap on all of this hostility. It will be a match that few dare to tackle but yet one you two are familiar with....AN IRON WOMAN MATCH!" We go to break with Faith and Jenna still staring each other down, both seemingly happy with the news. Back from break, Brooke is backstage with her client Carmella Costello. They're not impressed with Faith or Jenna and they hope the two take each other out so that there's room for an outstanding up-and-comer. Frankie will need to be dealt with first, however. Fifth Match: King Kavovit and Moses McKay vs. The Wyldhearts I think I might just make McKay and Kavovit a permanent team. They gel really well and it couldn't hurt the division. What does hurt is the Agents of Change mucking things up for the Wyldhearts allowing McKay to pin Robbie Greer. *****, 94% overall. MAIN EVENT: WWE Cruiserweight Champion Former Cruiserweight Champion-Elect Michael Hotbody and Jason Sorola vs. Jordan Demiras and Martyn LaSalle Before the match, Hotbody stays on the stage still in his street clothes and berates Jordan Demiras for what went down on Raw during what was supposed to be a night of fun for everyone. Demiras only cares about himself and ruined the night for all of these people! As much as Hotbody wants to compete tonight, he is refusing to compete against Demiras until he learns proper respect for party etiquette and that he can't just show up uninvited wherever he feels like it! How would the people like it if Demiras just showed up at your wedding unannounced? It's rude and selfish, is what it is. Besides, even if Hotbody wanted to compete tonight, he can't because of the vicious injuries caused by Demiras carelessly smashing one of Hotbody's prized dance records in his face. The doctors found pieces of vinyl in Hotbody's eye. HE'S NOT SUPPOSED TO GET VINYL IN HIS EYE!!! Not to worry as Hotbody has a suitable replacement for tonight's match as it is someone who is just as angry as Hotbody is and just as vicious...making his return...ZED JONES!!! MAIN EVENT: Zed Jones and Jason Sorola vs. Jordan Demiras and Martyn LaSalle Hotbody takes his leave and the main event proceeds with Jones just dominating the faces. The end comes when Hotbody comes running down the aisle in what sure is a brief moment of good health that coincidentally occurs once Demiras and LaSalle have Jones in trouble. LaSalle gets tripped up and that allows Jones to score a cheap pin on him. The faces get beaten down in a three-on-two scenario as we go off the air. ****1/2, 93% overall. Overall show rating: 91% |
End of the month notes: Nothing major with no one on my roster willing to retire or make any career changes. Two of my NXT women, Nadia Denisof and Luscious want out so I guess I have evaluate their stats. Oh, I'll evaluate them long and good!!!
|
Yeah, both of their stats as far as in-ring work blow royal balls. Nadia is charismatic, though, so she might be saved via the manager rule.

5 star tag matches is commonplace for you...but busting out a 5 star singles match is still a treat. I want to see Shawn Dangerson get pushed just for his name alone, but throwing him in there against Reigns showed how he can bring the goods.
I somehow suspect that Reigns will announce a cash-in for far in advance but then end up doing it much earlier in a manner most dastardly...but we shall see. Hotbody with a decades-old Lenny from The Simpsons reference is excellent. And I love the trope of heels suddenly recovering from injury quickly, I may or may not have that planned as part of one of my upcoming matches. |
Fuck my life, I couldn't remember where I heard that reference but then you said The Simpsons and now I can see Lenny as clear as day. Funny thing, The Simpsons is still going in 2040. :|
I'm actually going to try something different with Reigns as far as him cashing in his contract is concerned. I don't know if the WWE has done it yet but I know I haven't so screw it. Maybe you can figure out where I'm going with it once I do his announcement. I'll see what I can do about Shawn Dangerson. The cruiserweight scene is so crowded but who knows? Maybe down the road he'll be blessed with being the target of Hotbody's absurdities and incredible recuperative powers. |
Can someone make me a Bad Bunny custom Sim, he is my favorite wrestler

Say, something seems different about these particular profiles....:shifty:

Jenna Kyle ASL......oh wait it already says that :shifty:
Setting pics for whoever the wrestlers most closely resemble would be fun. |
Yeah, I tried to find the most adorable pic I have of her but she's fucking adorable in all of them so I had to go with one of the smallest. She definitely falls into the "too cute to be a heel" category but I went with the turn for the sake of the feud. It'll be good to get her back on the proper side.
