Big same man. Feel like the last 4 episodes or so were rushed; that last little "mini-arc" was still awesome but it could have been stretched into a full 12 episode run itself. Hopefully the sequel manga gets picked up for an anime.

the last 4 eps were mind blowing in many ways but they seemed to me to be the ground work for the next series

Summer shows are ending and the fall season just about getting underway. Was all hyped for Shield Hero season 2. BUT, that got pushed to April next year most likely due to Covid. I'm looking to see what's looking good. Part 2 of 86 is a must for me.

How a Realist Hero Rebuilt the Kingdom and Tsukimichi: Moonlit Fantasy are recommended watches from the summer crop of anime. The latter I watched by accident.

The Detective is Already Dead, not so much. Started interesting but lost it's way.

I also thought The Dungeon of Black Company was a good one from the summer crop.

I'm watching Jujutsu Kaisen now, never got around to it when it aired earlier this year. Loving it so far.

Also bummed about Shield Hero getting pushed back. I just rewatched S1 because I thought it was still dropping for the fall season.

Live action cowboy bebop sucks balls.

Jet is fantastic, and it's probably an okay watch if you haven't seen the anime, but if you have? Hoo boy.

Get used to it because anime looks like the next medium to be live action milked for the next few years.

Yeah. Was going to jump into it before I read reviews. Kind of a bummer.

There was no way they were gonna come close to the magic of the anime with that one. I knew that was gonna be rough the whole time.

Irritates me. Netflix keeps on being Syfy these days. The actor that played Jet was so perfectly cast and I'd totes be down for a prequel in his cop days but it won't happen. :(

Damn. 1 and done.

I know Netflix will at times will give a show a second season to try to fix things if the first was a dud.

But all that hype and work for nothing.

It was not canceled because of "fanboys".

Outside of missing the entire tone of the show, and completely rewriting numerous characters, it's not a particularly well written show. Even if you went in with no prior knowledge of the anime, it's an average show at best.

The only thing I want to see that version of Ed in, is a new hostel movie.

Christ, that scene was straight out of Biodome.

Biodome was great.

I thought it was fun. It wasn't the greatest thing ever, but it isn't as bad as folks are making it out to be.

It was WAYYYY better than that attempt at Death Note. Ugh.

I'd put Bebop on par with the 90s Fist of the North Star. You know; the one with Rufio, Downtown Julie Brown, and Vader.

Biodome is a gem

Watching Platinum End. Think this might be my favorite anime of the last few seasons.

I'm all over the place these days.

Watching Demon Slayer.

Story and characters are alright. Not bad, but doesn't reinvent the wheel.

But the fight scenes. My God the fight scenes. Possibly some of the most gorgeously animated fights in an ongoing series I've ever seen.

That basketball anime is the shit

Current arc in demon slayer just wrapped up, and well...we'll... show has ruined other action anime for me. The action scenes are just that good. I don't know they get away with it. Looks better than a lot of anime movies.

ive just started the new season. art style great. characters and world are mostly mediocre. the big moments really deliver though

Has the dub made its way to Adult Swim yet?

That's what I'm holding out for. But I guess I should watch the movie first.
